This B&B is a true hidden gem — full of charm, character, and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. It’s beautifully styled with quality toiletries, lovely ambient scents, and thoughtful details throughout. My personal highlight was the bathroom — it had a beautiful bathtub and a window that opened right onto a serene garden view. Pure bliss.
Breakfast was delicious, and carefully curated, and the location is ideal — quiet yet just a short walk from the city centre and all the main sights. The service was also great, Astrid is a wonderful host.
A couple of minor drawbacks: the minibar fridge was a bit noisy, the old wooden stairs in the hall creak, and outside sounds carries into the house more than I’d like, which could be an issue for light sleepers.
Still, this place offers great value, especially in comparison with the other local hotel chains, and I’d gladly return. Highly recommended if you’re after something special with soul.
