A charming little hotel in the heart of the old town, with a lovely garden and a canal running right beneath the house. A wonderful atmosphere of coziness, cleanliness, and comfort. Staying here perfectly captures the spirit of the city itself. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. At night it was completely quiet, and in the morning we woke up to birdsong. Each morning we were welcomed with a delicious and varied breakfast — fresh bread, homemade jam, fragrant croissants, and much more — all served on antique porcelain! An exceptional hotel with a warm and welcoming hostess made our trip truly unforgettable. We already can’t wait to come back!

This was our first experience staying in a B&B. What a treat! The location was exceptional. Right near everything, but quiet and full of bird songs drifting into open windows. Easy entry and communication with the owner, Astrid. She was so lovely and hospitable. Our room was the Vanilla Room and it was outstanding. The room was bright and had excellent cross breeze with the windows opened in the bathroom and the room. The clawfoot tub was so lovely with the windows open, the breeze coming through and the birds singing. The view of gardens out the back was magical. Truly adored our stay and would absolutely return to the exact place for another visit. We don't eat breakfast early, so sadly did not get to partake in the lovely smells of cooking that were offered but I have no doubt what Astrid whipped up in her beautiful kitchen was delightful. Such a lovely common space to relax, too.

This B&B is a true hidden gem — full of charm, character, and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. It’s beautifully styled with quality toiletries, lovely ambient scents, and thoughtful details throughout. My personal highlight was the bathroom — it had a beautiful bathtub and a window that opened right onto a serene garden view. Pure bliss. Breakfast was delicious, and carefully curated, and the location is ideal — quiet yet just a short walk from the city centre and all the main sights. The service was also great, Astrid is a wonderful host. A couple of minor drawbacks: the minibar fridge was a bit noisy, the old wooden stairs in the hall creak, and outside sounds carries into the house more than I’d like, which could be an issue for light sleepers. Still, this place offers great value, especially in comparison with the other local hotel chains, and I’d gladly return. Highly recommended if you’re after something special with soul.

Astrid has taken over a beautiful B and B just minutes from the main squares of Bruges. It is a quiet sanctuary to relax and sit in her lovely garden or in the cozy front room. The rooms are big and comfortable with sweet little amenities sprinkled around. Breakfast is always delicious and perfect to start the day. I so enjoyed our conversations and her help suggesting places to go around the city, especially the best chocolatier in town. I would highly recommend staying here and I’m looking forward to visiting again.

Number 11 is our new favorite place in Brugge. Astrid (and Gaston her pup!!) are perfect hosts, Astrid is made to run a b&b. Her love of her hometown, her kindness, hospitality, and just her overall demeanor made our stay even more enjoyable. ||We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was everything we could have dreamed of. Cozy, inviting, comfortable, private…and the sliding doors out to the terrace made it even better. We have stayed in a few other bed and breakfasts around Brugge but Number 11 is the best of the best. ||I have thought about our visit every single day since we’ve left. The bathtub, the breakfast (the JAM!!!), the perfectly quiet private terrace, the most amazing smelling soap, Gaston and his sweet face…but really it is Astrid who makes Number 11 feel like home. She is someone you meet and never forget, someone you want to sit with and drink coffee and become friends with.||We cannot wait to come back!

We had such a great stay at Number 11! Astrid is a delightful host and provided everything we needed and more. Our room was charming, with beautiful windows and fun nooks and crannies. The bathroom was probably the most spacious of any historic property we’ve stayed in! Astrid prepared a beautiful and generous breakfast each day (with chocolate!) and helped with suggestions and information. Very convenient location, and being close to the bus stop helped for our day trip to Ghent. We would stay again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed there as part of our honeymoon. Astrid that owns the place is a very kind person and a wonderful host. We enjoyed out time in Brussels so much, and are grateful to Astrid for sharing all her knowledge of the local area and the many recommendations she gave. They were fantastic. ||The other guest at the place were all very kind and we had a thrill at the morning breakfast were we learned just how much hot sauce will bring people together.. Thanks John. ||We are both vegetarians and Astrid simply changed the breakfast to our needs and served an delicious cousin. Furthermore we were amazed by how easy quality food were to come by in Brussels. ||We both recommend staying at Astrids place, oh.. No. 11 I mean. ||Kind regards Kristina and Michael
