Really, really nice guesthouse in a fantastic location, minutes from all the sights of medieval Bruges. Lovely diffuser gives it a delightful scent. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was spacious with lots of space. We loved staying in such a unique and historic venue. Can’t beat the location.||The only reason for not giving 5 stars were we didn’t realize the breakfast was continental. The breakfast was so nicely presented and really cute but consisted mostly of a significant amount of bread, along with fruit and yoghurt. Had hoped for cooked breakfast. The only other item was no conditioner in the bathroom, only shampoo and shower gel. Minor things but the only reason not for 5 stars. We did have a delightful stay though, and I absolutely recommend the guesthouse! For restaurant recos - Definitely try the Smisse in Damme for a really cute and warm vibe, and De Gastro for incredible food. Oda rooftop bar is also cracking for an evening drink!

The Number 11 is a great, very authentic guesthouse in a fantastic location, close to all the experiences / amenities. Just far enough out of all the hustle & bustle but a 5-10 min walk to the centre. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and has a very chilled vibe whilst keeping a top level of service. Astrid is a wonderful host who is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We have stayed here a few times and it has been wonderful every time. Astrid took over the guesthouse back in September and has already made her mark for the better. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Bruges.

Chose this B&B for location to bus stop at Molenbrug and ease to historic town center.Nice quiet street near canal. The downstairs was decorated for Xmas and felt very homey. Our #1 room, one floor up had bath and shower and king size bed. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed our 3 days in Bruges.

We really enjoyed our stay and thank you for making it a lovely experience. The room was clean and nicely done and the breakfast was very traditional and fresh each morning. The apt' is very central to the main parts of Bruges and right next to the canal in a very quiet part of town. Thanks again to Astrid for her hospitality.

A lovely welcome from the host, Astrid. The property has only a few rooms but this is why we chose it. Our room was on the 2nd floor, with very steep stairs, but this was not a problem for us. The room was spacious with a mezzanine floor with a single bed if required. The bathroom has a shower and a bath. A nice size bathroom. |The breakfast was served between 9am and 10am. All individually prepared and served by Astrid. There is no parking at the property but there is an underground public car park within 3-5 minutes walk. You can park outside to unload if you can navigate the Bruges one way road system! A very central location and ideal for exploring Bruges on foot.|We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

A charming little hotel in the heart of the old town, with a lovely garden and a canal running right beneath the house. A wonderful atmosphere of coziness, cleanliness, and comfort. Staying here perfectly captures the spirit of the city itself. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. At night it was completely quiet, and in the morning we woke up to birdsong. Each morning we were welcomed with a delicious and varied breakfast — fresh bread, homemade jam, fragrant croissants, and much more — all served on antique porcelain! An exceptional hotel with a warm and welcoming hostess made our trip truly unforgettable. We already can’t wait to come back!

This B&B is a true hidden gem — full of charm, character, and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. It’s beautifully styled with quality toiletries, lovely ambient scents, and thoughtful details throughout. My personal highlight was the bathroom — it had a beautiful bathtub and a window that opened right onto a serene garden view. Pure bliss. Breakfast was delicious, and carefully curated, and the location is ideal — quiet yet just a short walk from the city centre and all the main sights. The service was also great, Astrid is a wonderful host. A couple of minor drawbacks: the minibar fridge was a bit noisy, the old wooden stairs in the hall creak, and outside sounds carries into the house more than I’d like, which could be an issue for light sleepers. Still, this place offers great value, especially in comparison with the other local hotel chains, and I’d gladly return. Highly recommended if you’re after something special with soul.
