This was the least fun I have had in a hotel in some time. Admittedly I booked their cheapest room. The room had a small window behind a large curtain. The view was grim. The room was musty and depressing. One pillow had blood stains. The duvet and second pillow had older stains. While the room had no chair or table, obnoxious music is played all day for the staff to enjoy in the lounge/restaurant/bar. The pool is not big enough to swim in and is situated on the smoking deck. The breakfast was less good than is expected in Cambodian hotels, and was not not served with the usual pride and enthusiasm, but rather a sense of "Here's your bloody free meal, you freeloader!" Rock hard butter flavoured margarine ruined it. I was angry with myself for staying there, because there are so many other hotels in the area. I got a decent night's sleep. While the security lockers at reception do not inspire confidence, the system works. The hotel did allow me to check in early, although the manager didn't seem to understand how someone could not sit and relax for some time, while that awful music was playing. Various genres of music were played during the day, all too loud and none of them good. I could hardly wait to leave, but with only one power point working in the room, I needed extra time to charge a device. The was barely leg room for a tall person to sit on the toilet, so sideways seemed a better option, but this was not easy as the seat was loose. The tuk-tuk drivers waiting outside for business can be intimidating. (Waiting outside the hotel, not the bathroom.)
