Numbs Bar & Restaurant

We arrived at this place past 11PM on a normal weekday in January and they did welcome us without any hesitation. The whole menu was available to order, no closed kitchen excuse. They didn't rush us to eat or leave quick, even though we were the last table. The food was really good and fulfilling. They deserved a 5* until I saw a surcharge on the bill at the end that they removed when I requested. We already pay coperto, so why the extra? It would be better to avoid these things.

Food was fine, service was good, but they tacked on a 15% service charge. So tired of this bs with American customers - I know our president is a total idiot, but please stop trying to take advantage of tourists. Not cool at all. When questioned about the service charge, the server took it off immediately. Also lots of car traffic on that street. Obviously not the restaurant’s fault, but if you’re looking for a chill pedestrian-only street, this isn’t it. We wound up going here because the place next door (a reco from a friend) had a wait for a table.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the pesto-based Pinso pizza — I still think about it! You can even do a half-and-half, which is a great option. The staff were multicultural, incredibly kind, helpful, and truly made the experience better. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Although it’s located in a busy tourist area, it definitely doesn’t feel like a tourist trap. I genuinely loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat. The restaurant was full in just moments, suggest you to go early.

Great food and excellent service! The pizza was delicious, and the place has air conditioning, which was a big plus on a hot day. We only ordered one pizza, but the staff was still very kind and attentive. They gladly brought olive oil, chili, and oregano when I asked. A very pleasant experience overall!

The food was fantastic. We had pasta and it was really nice but the pizza that others ordered also looked brilliant. The drinks were very good, with an extensive range of options. We had 4 cocktails each and they were really good, and brilliant value for money at €10 each. We came at lunchtime for drinks and returned for dinner as they were so good. Would thoroughly recommend

don’t come here if you don’t want to get scammed. food is average but they add way too many charges to your bill. they have cover fee of 2 euros per person which is reasonable and indicated on the menu. but then, they also have 15% service charge and also they ask “do you want bread” (which we assume to be part of the cover fee or service charge) but then they charge you 8 euros for that (they should really make customers aware of that instead of making it sound like it is included). Therefore, we got charged total of 25 euros of extra fees ( only the 2 euros per person cover fee was indicated on the menu). this is unacceptable. please do not come here

Deco was modern and clean. Fried squid was chewy and fresh which is very nice as a starter. Seafood risotto was good and tasty. Pizza with anchovies was average, too little anchovies given. Nice ambient with fast service.

Good not great. Service was slow wine was above average. I enjoyed the pasta with pesto sauce. The sauce was a little bit heavy but was full of pesto and garlic flavors. The pasta was cooked well not overdone. The wine was on the higher price for a Roman cafe but was good. Skip the smoked salmon salads they were not good at all. It was loaded with a creamy egg like sauce and the lettuce was extremely bitter and earthy tasting.

This is probably my first bed restaurant in Rome thus far period quite disappointed, I guess the lesson to be learnt is never go to a restaurant where it takes a pretty girl to solicit the menu to lure​ tourist into the restaurant. We had ordered their Caesar salad, that taste like the dressing came from a discount supermarket salad dressing that came from bottle. I think Costco Caesar salad is a hundred Folds better. The chicken on the Caesar's salad was dry and the croutons were stale We had also ordered a mushroom cream soup which tasted quite disgusting. And a Danish steak with green pepper sauce, that was passable for flavour but a little tough and expensive for the price. Please avoid this over priced tourist trap. We should of read the other reviews on Google before choosing this spot. We we're just hungry and desperate

Very cute and quaint restaurant and wine bar! We got here around 2330! The waiter and bartender were very nice! We ordered wine and appetizers! We tried the Barbera d'alba which was delicious! We also had a ham panini and toasted bread with tomatoes and basil!

The quintessential street dining experience! We took an evening walk to the Spanish Steps (Piazza Di Spagna) and found our way to Numbs looking for a supper meal. This proved to be one of the most memorable events from our trip. As a group of 10 we were seated at a table that jutted right out into the street where evening traffic came driving right by, but it wasn't an obnoxious amount (perhaps 15 vehicles during the meal) & totally added to the event. A street musician showed up soon after & we gave him a few Euros to stay & play (quick tip, give just a couple $ at a time or they'll play just a few songs & then take off). He even did That's Amore on request! My brother-in-law said the Carbonara he got there was the best he had in Italia. My wife was on Cacio De Pepe for the trip & it was a very tasty version we had there. You'll likely find grander versions of each menu item in other restaurants but if you time it right you'll be hard pressed to find a more perfect Roman dining experience.

First bad restaurant in Italy I've experienced! The cashier lady was rude so was the bartender. I was speaking English to them and they all wanted to ignore me, yet they wanted me to sit and eat. The only employee who gave us the attention was Chico that's the only reason why they received 2 stars! He deserves all the cover charge from our bill since he has been the only one checking in on us and he deserves a raise! This place was not that busy to where they would be ignoring us plus they had a ton of staff working. As far as food quality and experience: it was okay. The food was not outstanding to where you want to come back nor something to remember. Over priced for an ok lunch. And also to point out at the bottom of the menu it says some items are frozen. Sorry I will not recommend nor come back!

We managed to find the worst pizza in Rome! It was plain, tasted like it was microwaved, and the cheese was congealed. The salad we ordered tasted like old ingredients from cans (lettuce, artichoke hearts, fennel) and was served with no dressing. My .3 L of beer cost $7. Beyond disappointing. The servers were LOVELY and I suggest they work somewhere else.
