Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa, Bali

Beautiful grounds right on the beach. Amenities are ample and luxurious. Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms could do with a bit of love - air con wouldn’t cool room below 25°C so was a bit warm trying to sleep at night. We did flag this but it wasn’t rectified. The bathroom also had a lot of limescale and black mould. I appreciate this is hard to keep on top of in a humid climate but you would expect better from a five star resort. Breakfast was brilliant, so much choice and all the food and drink were fresh and high quality.

This is a really lovely hotel that is made by its staff. We received a warm welcome with traditional Balinese dance in front of their stunning Balinese traditional gate. Throughout the hospitality of the people of Bali was on full display, I cannot praise the staff enough. Some points for improvement: the rooms are incredibly basic and dated. Bare walls, broken air conditioning that wasn’t fixed despite raising it, hard beds and worn out bathrooms. The TV is old and not a smart TV, disappointing during rainy season where an hour in the room during a storm would be appreciated. Those little extras were just missing for example, we only had two tiny free bottles of water a day, that’s not ideal in a country where you can’t drink the tap water and is at times unbearably hot. There’s is nowhere nearby to buy water other than the bar, which is marked up price wise. Definitely not a 5* room, more 3*. As for the location, it’s incredibly safe and private in a gated tourist area. The beaches are nice and clean (by bali standards) and all the restaurants were excellent. Breakfast was a highlight! The resort itself is beautiful and we especially enjoyed the spa pool and lagoon pool.

Very nice larger hotel in Nusa Dua. Good location next to the beach. We had 2 connecting rooms, 1 for us and 1 for the children. The rooms were clean and good. We lacked conditioner and body lotion though. The only slightly negative thing is that the hotel is somewhat remote but of one has chosen an all inclusive package that shouldn't be an issue. The breakfast was very large and offered alot of different dishes from around the world. The kids loved the deeper pools. The pool bar happy hour was also a nice touch!

Must admit the rooms do need an update, but everything else about the hotel is fantastic. Beach location, 3 pools - one with swim up bar & beautiful well kept gardens. The food at all restaurants was 5 star, breakfast buffet with so much choice & food served everywhere well presented and delicious. Staff throughout the hotel, always said hello & were friendly and helpful. As you can tell absolutely loved my stay!!

Lovely older style Balinese inspired hotel, excellent grounds, pools and beach front. Great restaurants and dining under the trees on the beach was simply amazing. The staff are all amazing, so friendly and helpful with a continuous smile. The rooms are a little dated but the rest of the hotel makes up for that. Comfortable beds and good Airconditioning. Well priced for what we had and it included breakfast. Happy to return any time.

Absolutely amazing hotel. We stayed in Bali for a week and this was so pleasant. Booked with luxury escapes so we got all inclusive deals and our favourite restaurant was the tamarind. View of the private beach and amazing food, what more could you ask for? The all inclusive deal was amazing because you got all food, 3 hour free flow drinks, 2 massages, photoshoot, basically everything. We were absolutely impressed and will be returning later in the year. Thanks for such an amazing experience.

My family and I travelled from the US to Bali and stayed at the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel for 5 night. The hotel is a reasonable distance from the airport, especially after 24 hours of traveling. The hotel was beautiful. We were greeted as we got out of our vehicle with friendly staff and bellmen ready to take our luggage so we didn't have to continue to haul it around. Check in was quick. Hotel staff were friendly with no English language barriers. |We ate at all of the restaurants. Make sure you get the breakfast included. There were SO MANY options! ||Rooms were cleaned daily with plenty of water provided to drink and to use while brushing your teeth. ||We travelled with another family with two kids (10 & 12). The kids were allowed to go to the pool themselves. We felt safe. ||The private beach and ocean view was breathtaking. ||This is a wonderful place to consider for your next vacation if you want a laid back resort feel. If you want more hustle and bustle, this might not be the right choice for you.

This is my second time in Nusa Dua, and I will definitely return here! The rooms are a bit dated, and our AC struggled to keep us cool at night. We were a large group, and most were completely satisfied with their AC. I guess avoid room 2136. The grounds are well manicured with excellent restaurants. The Tamarind had superb Napoli-style pizza, and their steaks were the best we had in Indonesia. The beach had baby powder-soft sand, plenty of trees and space for all. We never found it over crowded. The breakfast buffet had several egg stations, Japanese, Indian, Chinese, and Western options. The buffet was well stocked and very fresh. Service staff on all fronts were friendly and professional, You won't be disappointed!
