Nusfjord Village & Resort

Incredible hotel that encapsulates lofoten. The town is beautiful, rooms amazing, and staff incredible. We went middle of Feb and it snowed and we found the roads to be very well cleared and super safe. Looking forward to coming back.

From the moment we arrived at Nusfjord Resort, my wife and I were struck by how effortlessly everything ran. The staff were not only incredibly efficient but also genuinely warm and welcoming. Every interaction was handled with genuine care and a smile, making us feel instantly at home, and nothing was ever too much trouble.||The cabin we stayed in was charming, retaining some of the features of its original purpose as a fishing hut, but most definitely providing the comfort and facilities of a modern room. We slept fantastically each night – not even waking for the storm on our 3rd night.||The scenery here is nothing short of breathtaking — dramatic fjord views, colourful fishing cabins, and the serene beauty of the surrounding mountains and sea. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself pausing just to take it all in – which we frequently did.| |My wife and I took a walk to the nearby lakes recommended by some of the hotel staff, and it was an unforgettable experience — every step revealed new breathtaking views of the frozen lakes framed by towering snow-covered peaks. We also walked to the lighthouse, more fantastic views – perhaps in summer I could do the more challenging fisherman’s walk which I noticed on the way. | |The food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Dining here felt like an experience in itself. Beautiful fine-dining food in the evening and a most delicious breakfast buffet in the morning with superb service from the fantastic staff.| |We also joined the Northern Lights tour where our brilliant guide took us to the best places to see them and helped with our photography (which we needed). Back at the resort, the limo cut activity was a charming and unexpected treat, letting us create a hand-printed keepsake to remember our trip by, many thanks to our host.| |Nusfjord Resort isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to feel inspired, relaxed, and completely immersed in the beauty of Norway. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We are already planning our return.

It’s wildly challenging to put into words how lovely this respect was. The location, the views, the atmosphere were all phenomenal and the staff made you feel like you were visiting someone’s home. We stayed in one of the fisherman’s cottages that was more private and away from the village were day tourists can walk through. Our accommodation was very comfortable. The cough was cozy, the balcony was marvelous and the kitchen was well stocked ( one bed likely needs an updated mattress but that may just be me being particular). The meals were all something to write home about (highly recommended the onsite pizza restaurant and cafe as well). Already planning another stay

Nusfjord resort is a wonderful spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. We splurged for a village cabin with sea views and the view of moonlight over the water, flanked by the icy fjord and mountains was magical. We absolutely loved our stay - the cabin was gorgeous, the food at all the restaurants was delicious and the activities we choose like the RIB and snowshoeing were exhilarating and gave us a chance to see “nature” close up. You can read about the resort amenities so I’d like to point out the quality of the service at Nusfjord. Everyone we spoke to had a genuine love for what they do and love living in Nusfjord. they were passionate about Lofoten and the warmth and care they extended to us surpassed expectations. In particular I’d like to mention a few people : Michaela at reception, Edoardo and Filippo who run some of the outdoor activities, and Marcin and Davide at the restaurant. What a charming and unique hotel location and experience. This is one of those “treat yourself well” hotels that offers a little bit of everything all with a good amount of luxury and comfort. Our cabin was wonderful, close to the hot tub. We loved the hot tub especially after doing a solid hike each day. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely delicious and packed with everything you needed for a day of hiking and nature. Oh, and the aurora borealis was EPIC.

A truly magical place especially out of season. The location is breathtaking particularly if you stay in one of the sea view village houses and the restaurants and staff are amazing. Really this is a little gem and having stayed in three different locations in Lofoten on this trip and travelled the island we would definitely base ourselves here next time. Cannot recommend more highly.

We LOVED our stay at Njusfjord! With the exception of the check in process in the pouring rain with not a lot of direction on where to park, the remaining 4 nights and 5 days were absolute perfection. RIB tour with Eduardo, massage with Alena and the wait staff (Birgit etc.) who were so attentive and back to the front desk who helped direct us on our travels all over Lofoten, we couldn’t pick a better place to land. The cabin was beautifully decorated in a Norwegian style. We love embracing the architecture and interiors of places where we travel and our cabin was beautifully appointed. The bedding was like sleeping in a soft cloud. And the food! It was incredible. At Karoline, the pizza, the bakery. We will be back! One of the few places we’ve visited where we want to return. And we live in California…so it’s quite the journey but well worth it!

I booked a stay at Nusfjord Village and Resort for my parents because I wanted them to experience one of the most special places we have here in Lofoten, where I live. From the moment they arrived, everything was just perfect.||The service was excellent – the staff were so welcoming and helpful with anything we asked or needed. My parents were absolutely blown away by how stunning Nusfjord is, how cozy and charming the cottages are, and how amazing the food was.||Thank you so much for creating such a memorable stay for them. We’ll definitely be coming back!
