Two good things about this hotel in Buenos Aires are its very convenient location within the city, and the unfailing courtesy and helpfulness shown by all members of staff, both at the front desk and the restaurant. Despite these good aspects, the room we stayed in was basic, soulless and with a very small bathroom, and the absence of even free water on the first day or a box of tissues was disappointing. The breakfasts were very poor in terms of quantity, quality and variability. In particular, there was no hot food apart from eggs on request (though our request for poached eggs was declined as not included), and the fried eggs produced were poorly cooked. This hotel would be graded 3 stars at most in Europe, and so we give it 3 stars, though even this is on the generous side, Despite the two good features the stay was disappointing overall and we would neither return to nor recommend this hotel.
