Nuts 'n Berries Decatur Neighborhood Market

For years this used to be just another health store...Rainbow Natural Foods... they were okay and carried many products but underwhelming, uninspired and dated. Old hippies. Customer service was okay but a bit dry. I would just go to get my vitamins and herbal supplements. After many years, eventually they closed. Somehow I was still sorry to see them go as they had been there so long. A few years later, here is now Nuts and Berries instead. I liked shopping there. Fresh look, friendly helpful staff, varied products, decent prices, a freezer section, clean look, cool atmosphere, jazz playing in the background for a vibe. They also had a Souper Jenny so I got some lunch too. The food was fresh and tasted so good. I really did like the experience of Nuts and Berries. It's a sweet place to browse and pick up a few things.

I LOVE the Nuts & Berries store, but Google Maps needs to bring their maps up-to-date. This location has been closed now for over a year! People shouldn't go there to find NO STORE! Now I don't think there is one because I think the store on Peachtree near Oglethorpe closed some time ago also. 😢

Stopped in to check them out on a whim (happened to be shopping at Finders Keepers and saw a new health food store was in the spot where Rainbow used to be). The manager and employee there were very professional and nice and didn’t even tell me I got there at closing and they were waiting on me! They had some delicious ready made food, kombucha on tap, and lots of specialty items for vegans and vegetarians that I don’t see very often. I don’t live near there to patronize them but if I did I would definitely support them on occasion. Their produce is extremely limited and there’s no hot bar but it’s nice to give Whole Paycheck some competition and I wish them well.

We went to the soft opening of Nuts ‘n Berries in Decatur this weekend. AWESOME store with fresh organic, vegan and gluten free food options & vitamins. We had brunch from their hot bar and it was so much more delicious than I anticipated. Really yummy! Even my son, who is super selective liked the food!

I was greeted with SO much joy by the staff. It truly made my week. I am so grateful for Nuts n' Berries commitment to health and the customer and to support this local business. Also, the spices & herbs are the best quality and prices anywhere I've seen in town!

This was my first visit to the Nuts 'n Berries in Decatur and it was FANTASTIC!! Stan greeted me very curiously and answered many of my questions. But the best of all I met the best baker in metro Atlanta by the name of Isabelle. She was awesome and a real joy to talk with. She is the main reason why I will definitely be back! It is so refreshing to experience good old fashioned customer service!

At first I was just happy to have another natural food store in the community to replace Rainbow Natural Foods, even though their selection is much smaller and the staff isn’t nearly as passionate or informed about natural health. The staff are very friendly, just not passion, informed or organized at all. I visited more than a month ago and requested special products to be ordered which they offer and since then I’ve followed up several times to check on my products and no one has yet to follow up with me. Every time I called, I had to re-submit my request and even describe the product. Plot twist: it’s just emu oil and aloe Vera powder. Anyway I’ve since then begrudgingly purchased said items on Amazon with ease. I will never beg a business to take my money.

TBH this is my least favorite Souper Jenny’s. My gym is here and sometimes I need to eat before my workout so I pop in for something light. I wanted to write a review about a year ago when the older short white lady called me “Gal” which I was highly offended by. She is always rude to me and impatient if I’m undecided of what soup I want. The Mexican lady never smiles unless your of pale color skin. She greets you before you get to the counter. It’s sad. Yesterday I got a small salad. It came with a cilantro dressing but I wanted something creamy with it. That creamy Caesar dressing she got from the back must of been outdated, because it had me on the toilet all night and ruined my whole Sunday because I had stomach pains all day. I will forever visit Buckhead and Brookhaven because the staff is so nice. The only staff member in Decatur that’s nice is the younger ginger head guy. He is always nice and I’m thankful for his service. I will not be back to this location. Which is unfortunate.

I honestly had no idea about this awesome, cute, spot until I was invited to brunch here! This place is amazing especially if you're vegan! They do have a few non vegan options and because I'm not vegan I chose what they called Coming to America which is a salmon wrap and it was delicious! There's a cute little area to dine- in and the doors were open so I was able to enjoy the nice breeze. Not only that they make this mango tonic! Omg! And their BROWNIES!!! Man listen!!! It's the truth!!! It's in a good location if you're ever in Decatur check them out! Check out my pics

Nuts N berries is a local health food store in GA. They came to the South from California back in the 80's with the intent to bring health to the community . Nuts N berries carries various products local to GA , including fresh organic produce , small batch crafted foods , and a large selection of CBD and D8. The thing that makes this store different is the community ! They not only sell groceries but aim to highlight local business and bring the community together . They have an amazing coffee bar and a grab and go restaurant in the back . If you are looking for a way to support your community defiantly shop at nuts n berries !

Nuts 'n Berries is a great little healthy grocery shop in the city! It reminds me of a deluxe NYC bodega, but much MUCH cleaner. And no cats, lol. They have a small selection of produce, refrigerated drinks and goods, and then aisles of dry goods. I found my favorite quinoa peanut butter pretzels here, which as you miiiiight imagine are a bit hard to find. They also carry a small brand of protein bars that I've only ever seen at Whole Foods, but Nuts 'n Berries carries a TON of flavors. I was just rushing through the store because I forgot to eat lunch and I was at a level 9.5 on the hanger scale, so I needed snacks STAT. I will definitely return when I have more time to actually grocery shop!

Tiffany is awesome. She has thee best customer service. In addition, she very knowledgeable about the products on hand. I told her about the issues I am having and she recommended the best product. She also recommended I stay away from certain product because it could have an adverse reaction with some of the pills I am currently taking.

Love this store and all their employees. They have a great selection of items, natural and fresh. I love that you can find great options based on your dietary needs. Plus great CBD/D8 options, if you're interested in that.

I love this store but didn't notice they stuff I purchased was out dated until few days later. The products had just expired that's month. I have the product to take back but it's really out of my area. I would definitely go back to this place but I will make sure I look at the expiration date. Will give further review if they didn't give me a refund or store credit. To be continued

They need something else besides Overrated Souper Jenny. The food is not that good at Souper Jenny.. they use extremely too much oil and salt on foods, and they can't even confirm if they use organic / non-gmo ingredients.. and if the do which ones out of the small daily menu are organic / non-gmo . I also think all of their foods are not 100% natural and are processed. They need to divulge that. Also they need to communicate what type of oil is used in each dish (peanut, soy, olive oil, etc). Put True Food Kitchen or Soul Vegetarian in place of Souper Jenny.

I used to show at Rainbow several times a week. Souper Jenny's is my new favorite place to eat. I love the soups and sandwiches. Healthy food and lots of variety. Menu changes every day. Also get my CBD chocolate at Nuts N Berries. I keep finding new things to try.

It's so nice to have a natural market nearby. Also Souper Jenny is great- I hope they stay at this location permanently.
