Finally got to try out this amazing restaurant at the heart of Westlands. This visit was originally meant to be to the new branch at Capital Centre but this did not work out. So I visited the original branch located at Delta Corner. The parking is freely available and one can park right outside the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and inviting, the bright colours display the rich Kenyan colours and on the day we visited there was a live band at the garden area that has high stools and tables and gets packed by both young and old patrons as the night progresses. The menu is elegant and is a beautiful twist to our everyday Kenyan meals. A new addition is Ugali Chips and the cutlery is what was used in most middle and low income homes about 20 years ago. My friend had a beef burger and fries, the burger was huge and amazing but the "normal fries" were oversalted. I had the beef samosas with pineapple chutney which was heavenly with a side of fried plantain. The samosas were delicious as was the plantain though they were seasoned with salt 🤔🤔 Next time I will definitely request them NOT to season anything especially a sweet dish. The fresh juices were beyond excellent, unfiltered and with the roughage. The restaurant tends to get packed and guests have to wait for a table. The clientele is a mix of locals and African nationals as well as Caucasians. This is an excellent restaurant that you must visit again and again.
