Our group of 6 stayed in this camp for 2 nights. We had a warm welcome by camp staff led by Jubilate. We love the tent’s design and functionality. It has separate bath and toilet, running hot and cold showers( not bucket shower), it is well lit, with several sockets and a great view from the balcony. The bed is very comfortable with plush pillows and fluffy duvet. The towels are high quality and oversized. Thank you, Freddie, and the kitchen staff for the wonderful meals. Loved your vegetable gazpacho, lamb vindaloo, pork chops, vegetable stew, and brownie. |Laundry and drinks at the camp are reasonable priced. |We had a ranger guided walking safari in the early morning near the camp lead by Mike. Mike is very knowledgeable about the area, plants, insects, and wildlife. He showed us the lion’s tree and a vulture with a huge nest. We saw animals on foot from a different perspective. We had to detour a family of elephants and discovered a shiny stone ( try finding this stone). In the early evening, we had a sundowner. We enjoyed the view, snacks, drinks, and the exchange of stories.|Our experienced, friendly, patient, and expert guide James made sure be saw the big 5. His determination and enthusiasm made the game drives exciting. The Nyikani Safari Jeep was very comfortable and was cleaned daily. We were provided brand new binoculars , a lot of snacks, and unlimited drinks on the road. |The highlight of our safari was getting to know the friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient people of Nyikani Camps and Maasai Magic Safaris ( IG) who went above and beyond to make our 8 days Safari fun and memorable.
