Nyikani Camp - Central Serengeti

My 3 adult children and I stayed here for 3 nights in the family tent which consisted of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One room had 2 twin beds, and the main bedroom had a king bed and a pull-down twin bed. The tent is more like a structure with stiff walls inside and out with separate shower area, toilet area, and even a living room between the 2 bedrooms. Amazing to have flush toilets and piped showers in the Serengeti. Our private balcony had a comfortable outdoor sofa to look out and enjoy the views. We enjoyed the turn-down service especially the hot water bottles put in our beds on the chilly nights!||We were in Tanzania for 10 days, visiting 4 national parks, and stayed in 4 places. This place had the most amazing meals a notch above the others. The chef is truly talented, even with my many food allergies, and I would come back here just for the food. The staff is attentive and very friendly, always with a smile. We received top-notch service during our meals and enjoyed the made-to-order breakfast (eggs, French toast, etc.) along with the other item buffet style. For dinner they rotate buffet style and plated meals…all were absolutely excellent. We had lunch there on the day we arrived and it was 5 stars. On the other days they packed us lunch for our safari drives.||Highly recommend!

Booked Nyikani camp central through a tour company didn’t do too much research before so had no expectations - and it was so Amazing!!! Best place we’ve stayed since visiting Tanzania!! ||The place felt so safe considering it’s in the middle of the Serengeti!! It was clean, modern, just absolutely beautiful and the staff phenomenal!!!!! Felt so welcomed and looked after!!||We cannot thank everyone enough - we would love to return one day and stay longer!! ||Thank you to everyone at the camp!!

My husband and I went to Nyikani as the first stop on our honeymoon. Nyikani is a magical place! The staff is absolutely outstanding and works SO hard to make it an incredible experience. They anticipate your every need before you know you need it. The food is incredible, and the chef provides 3 top of the line meals each day. The migration arrived a little later than usual, however, our driver drove us around all day hunting for animals for us to see and experience. We were up close to each and every animal that we saw, and we saw everything that we wanted to see. We will be going back someday! This place is amazing!!

We had an amazing time here for our honeymoon! All of the staff were very kind and generous, the food was incredible every day, and the views were gorgeous. The room itself was interesting, very cozy and high functioning with outlets, warm water for shower, and a patio with nature in your backyard. We had giraffes come very close! Feel sad we only stayed for two nights while visiting the serengeti, but we definitely want to come back and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Spent one night here while on safari. Excellent service from beginning to end. From handling our luggage, welcome orientation, room tour, drinks at the bar, dinner, escort at night back to room, and then breakfast, everything was high quality. I enjoyed a nice hot shower and restful night’s sleep. All of the staff were warm and helpful. Special shoutout to Farid and Barack! If I am ever lucky enough to visit the Serengeti again, I would come back here to stay.

Nykani Serengeti was the highlight of our trip to Tanzania from the moment we were picked up at the Serengeti airport. |Luxurious “tents” are beautiful, staff was great, and our safari experience was truly incredible. 100% recommend. Asante sana!

I had a lovely stay at Nyikani Camp. The staff are very friendly and the service is wonderful. We were woken up each morning with coffee, tea, and cookies while we watched the sunrise over the Serengeti from our room. They even packed us multiple-course lunches for days we wanted to stay out exploring that were delicious. The rooms are impressively built and felt very safe from any wildlife wandering by, though some spiders did get in. The common spaces are beautiful and well maintained.

I rate this company 5 star . I’ve been many times to Serengeti and this company is by far the best and had the most professional staff.They all have manners and put the customer first. The tented camp in Serengeti is luxury and interior designed to exquisite taste. The surroundings are wonderful in the heart of Central Serengeti. Our tour guide James,got us to see all the animals in one day . Their guides are very experienced . They are strict on your safety and the camp rules at the camp are imperative.|The only criticism I have is the price of the cocktail I had one night . I didn’t know i had to pay for this . I thought it was full board and didn’t expect to pay 13 dollars for a Campari .|Though we tipped everyone I thought at least one drink could have been offered for the amount one pays for the camp. |Otherwise, I was happy with everything .|We didn’t receive any safari hats like everyone else did .|I would definitely return again and highly recommend it .
