The Nylon was my go to place in Mandalay for more than 20 years started at the first location and changed to the newer one some of the staff are considered friends and that’s why this is difficult to write the Nylon is a dump! After Covid it’s run without care I got sick in the room from a moldy room that stunk like cigarettes from a chain smoker that just left. The shower didn’t work the toilet was leaking the room was dirty, Bugs in the room, Hallways with empty beer bottles and dirty, It was shameful and saddening, No breakfast! I check out at 6am first light and waited until 1:30 to check into another hotel. That was the first time checking into a different hotel since 1999. I was told the hotel is mainly for locals now since Covid. |Go anywhere else!!!!!

Nice hotel near the city center of mandalay! The hotel offers cheap and comfy rooms for a great price. The staff is really friendly and is having a smile on their face all the time, they help you out with erverything. Good local restaurants just around the corner. Breakfast is good and they have a rooftop for nice sunsets! Would recommend staying here if you're on a budget and want a clean and spacious room!

I think you can't choose better when travelling on a budget. Our room was clean and spacious, with really pleasant bathroom. It's being cleaned everyday. They have very good breakfasts.|Also it's located in the middle of the city and in direct neighbourhood of the former Royal Palace (which I don't recommend btw). Next to it, on the corner of 83rd and 25th you can get SUPERGOOD indian streetfood. Open 6pm-1am. |At the front desk of the hotel you can find a very helpful, superfriendly and very funny manager. He will help you with everything and will give you a good advice. |It is our favourite hotel in Myanmar (and we already travelled across whole country).||Enjoy!

The room we booked was the cheapest double but agoda had it with shower/bathtub. When we asked about it, we got an upgrade to superior room with everything, no extra. Very good stay, soft bed, friendly staff. Not exactly budget price (especially for solo travelers). Breakfast buffet is plentiful if you arrive early, food just ok.

This is a great hotel for the price you pay. Not a five star hotel but much better than most budget hotels I've been to in Asia. A/C was very cold, wifi was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was the same every morning and very good. I booked an all day tour through the front desk and was extremely happy with the tour, the price and especially the driver Thu Ra.

The rooms are clean. The bedding is stylish. The bathrooms are spacious and functional (even includes a bath). The breakfast is very good. The location is central, if that's what you want. Staff are bilingual and very helpful and knowledgable. This is good value for money.

It was budget hotel but near to the Royal Palace. Staff were nice and friendly that a girl in the front desk help me to book the transportation to Bagan for 10000MMK. The buffet breakfast was also good given the price was only USD17 per night.

Good hotel for FIT Traveller. Price is a little higher than Royal Guest House. There is no suitable for Low Budget Traveller. Room Rates are round about 25$per night. Location is downtown area as same as Royal guest house. Rooms are big and good AC type.
