Nyne Hotels Lake Lodge - Colombo

We have just returned from a trip that included a stay at Nyne Lake Lodge. The staff were wonderful. The food was amazing. We were able to leave bags for a couple of nights when we went down to Galle. The rooms were a good size and clean. Its a small boutique hotel, 1w rooms... but had a lovely feel. Whilst there isn't a pool, we were told you could always go and use one of the nearby hotels as a guest. Would highly recommend.

We spent one night at Nyne Hotels Lake Lodge, Colombo and had a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break. The location is really convenient; we visited Gangaramaya Temple early in the morning, which was a beautiful experience, and in the evening, we enjoyed a lovely walk to Colombo City Centre. There are so many great places to explore in Colombo at night, and this hotel was the perfect base. We also had a delicious, high-quality breakfast in the morning. Would definitely love to visit again!

This was the best hotel we had in days. It is in the heart of Colombo but it is very quiet . It’s like a green oases, clean, nice, and elegant. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff wonderful and helpful. I think this is the best place to start or end your trip in Sri Lanka or to just feel at home if you traveled a few months.

We enjoyed our two nights here...location is excellent; 7 min tuk tuk ride to Galle Face Green, 10 min tuk tuk to Dutch Hospital District, 10 min tuk tuk to Pettah Market, night market and 5-7 min to Lotus Tower.||Staff were great, getting us tuk tuks. Restaurant breakfast was huge and tasty. ||Quiet! Loved that.||The only reason this isn't 5* is the mattresses could use some softening.||Our ground floor unit was spacious, great AC and had a private verandah (though that makes it a bit dark).||Great food. Even better location. Warm/kind/responsive staff.

Simply excellent and beautiful higher end lodge in the center of Colombo. Experienced and friendly personnel, great rooms and bathrooms, small scale, super nice food, and decorated in a very fancy and styilish way. Top boutique hotel!

The Lake lodge was the first hotel we stayed at on this trip to Sri Lanka.|We arrived mid morning tired from a long flight and our room was ready for us. The Staff were very kind and welcoming at all times. We were there for two nights and we both thought the food at our breakfasts and evening meals was superb and well presented.would definitely stay there again.

Ideal for our first 2 nights. Convenient central location, and tucked away down a quiet side street. The Garden room is excellent with a lovely small courtyard garden to enjoy. Meals were mainly fusion rather than local but good quality
