My mother booked a superior twin room through an agency as a birthday surprise for me, as she needed help with travel arrangements. I flew in from abroad, she took a domestic flight, and waited hours for me to arrive. We finally got to the hotel around 9 pm, exhausted, only to find a tiny double queen bed in a cramped room.||Reception coldly informed us that bed types aren’t guaranteed, the hotel was full, and we were free to leave “without charge.” No empathy. No effort to resolve.|I’ve stayed in many hotels — and I know when there’s genuine intent to support guests. There was none here.||We filed a formal complaint and left, forced to look for alternatives option late at night. I asked for written confirmation but they said it was all sorted. We trusted their word.||Days later, they charged us for one night and falsified the record, claiming the beds could be separated (untrue). It took over a month for the manager to respond. They manipulated our complaint, blamed the agency, and took no responsibility.||We are still waiting for the full refund and are actively pursuing the complaint.|It’s unbelievable that a hotel can decide — at their discretion — not only how much to charge, but also how and with whom guests should sleep. Especially at this price point.||A shameful experience marked by dishonesty and emotional manipulation. Avoid at all costs.
