"Just a short walk to Wenceslas Square and the Jewish Quarter, NYX is a hip design hotel that pairs urban flair with Prague’s Rondo Cubist architectural tradition. Works by local street artists greet you in the main spaces, and the 91 rooms appeal to the younger set with interiors done up in bright colors and graphic prints, with large windows that let plenty of sunlight stream in; though some (but not all) tend to run on the small side, they’re generally a good value for the price. There’s no restaurant on site, but a breakfast buffet is offered for a reasonable fee of 10 euros, and the lobby bar serves drinks and snacks on Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30 p.m. until midnight."

The whole team went out of their way to make us feel welcome and valued. They could not have been more friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and the had great suggestions for getting the most out of our visit. The hotel itself was perfectly clean and maintained. The breakfast was superb - fantastic quality and variety. It is also in a perfect location, close enough to the old town to visit everything on foot, but set just far enough back that you can escape the crowds and noise.

The observation by Daniella when signing in to Reception that it was my birthday during my stay, then the placement of card, flowers and small gift was such a nice touch and momentous. Daniella also went to great lengths to describe and show us where a particular restaurant was. All in all, a 10/10 experience at this hotel - thank you.

My stay at this hotel has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff's commitment to ensuring a pleasant experience is truly commendable. I particularly want to highlight the outstanding service provided by Daniella and Ilia. Their dedication and helpfulness greatly enhanced our stay. I am already looking forward to returning to this hotel in the future.

A hotel chain that we previously visited in another European country, is considered an elegant chain with style. The location in Prague is excellent, very close to Wenceslas Square. A short walk to the Na Příkopě pedestrian shopping street. The hotel is very clean and so are the rooms. Let's start with the negative - there are rooms there that are so small that I think we were in the smallest room we had the chance to stay in while traveling in Europe. There is no place to even open a suitcase, it's really crazy. The good thing about it is that we went to the reception and asked to check a room change, even though they don't have to and we paid for a standard room, they upgraded us to a spacious room and the change was dramatic, really improved the trip, but really. The workers there are really nice and there is a bar/cafe/club on the ground floor where salsa parties are held on weekends. Let's put it this way, these are salsa parties for beginners and not dancers, so lower your expectations. Highly recommend the hotel

Wow! I love this hotel The service was absolutely amazing, the staff was really nice and welcoming The hotel is super central - we didn't needed to use public transportation at all! Because it's also close to central station the bus to the airport it's just 8 minutes walk. We had few family rooms and they tried to put us all next to each other or at least on the same floor - which was very convenient and thoughtful. Breakfast was rich with lots of tasty sweets (which usually rare for an hotel!) Will definitely visit again ☺️

Loved our stay. From our welcome chocolate peanuts to our goodbye chocolate and everything in between. Staff were helpful, food was perfect for breakfast (especially liked the freshly brewed coffee rather than only having a machine option), rooms were clean and functional and the location was ideal. We loved it.

The hotel has a great location - very near the station and main attractions. Decor is fun and art in the foyer is striking. The room was spacious and comfy but the real stand out feature for me were the staff - friendly, kind and very helpful.

Yelp
Such a unique hotel! This place is on the weird side. They do all kinds of great art all over the place, so every detail is made into some sort of masterpiece! When you come into the lobby, you see that the chairs are ceramic sculptures- the walls are covered with crazy graffiti, and there are 2 life-sized ceramic jaguars by the stairs. The staff was extremely pleasant and fast with getting the check-in taken care of. They offer breakfast in the on-site restaurant, but it was pretty expensive, so I didn't take them up on that. The room was good sized, but pretty dark. The lighting was all futuristic industrial style, meets the zoo for some reason. There were zebra prints and zoom ins of fur on the walls for art. The place was kinda over the top with the art- it was quite enjoyable, and was unlike any other hotel I've been in. They have brochures that list off the famous artists who did the artwork here! The bathroom was nice, and had a mosaic of another building in Prague on the shower wall. When checking out, they had a coffee pot, but full of hot wine. Hmmm. There's a Vietnamese bhan mi shop next door, which connects to the lobby! Score!

Yelp
This is a new hotel which opened in early 2017. The welcome from reception staff was warm & friendly and very helpful. The decor is interesting and different but for me it gives too industrial an air. The breakfast room was wonderfully airy and bright. However as you walk into the lobby of the hotel you pass by a nice bag shop on the left and a Vietnamese street food restaurant on right - one issue we had was every time we walked into the lobby from the front door we noticed an unpleasant odour - we mentioned it to the reception staff who hadn't noticed it. But it was very off putting every time we walked through the lobby. The lift is what it is but when you get to your floor you then cross over again what seems an industrial style of space to a door which then leads you into a dark corridor where rooms are located - with numbers highly illuminated. I'm sure for some it's new and interesting but not really my style. The double room we had was a good size as was the ensuite bathroom (could do with functional air circulation to extract steam from bathroom). The bed was wonderfully comfortable enabling good sleeps only to be woken during night by folks entering the corridor & the entrance door banging shut - very annoying! Overall it's a great central Prague location

Yelp
This place is hip and central, and the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful. We didn't notice any smell ... it's in the middle of Prague, surrounded by a lot of restaurants, and they clearly make an effort to keep everything clean. It's not sea breeze, but not offensive at all. The rooms are flashy and futuristic. If you don't like giant images of lions on glass, surrounded by a neon light (which you can turn off), then this is probably not your place. If you're not troubled by a little Blade Runner -esque mood-lighting, this is a great place.
