"Just a short walk to Wenceslas Square and the Jewish Quarter, NYX is a hip design hotel that pairs urban flair with Prague’s Rondo Cubist architectural tradition. Works by local street artists greet you in the main spaces, and the 91 rooms appeal to the younger set with interiors done up in bright colors and graphic prints, with large windows that let plenty of sunlight stream in; though some (but not all) tend to run on the small side, they’re generally a good value for the price. There’s no restaurant on site, but a breakfast buffet is offered for a reasonable fee of 10 euros, and the lobby bar serves drinks and snacks on Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30 p.m. until midnight."

The location of this affordable and chic hotel is awesome! The staff were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. They all spoke English (which was helpful as I do not speak the local language). They were very personalable, add great suggestions, and helped me with my heavy luggage. The location is perfect! I was able to walk everywhere to and from the hotel (old town, the sights, the shopping district, the bridges and the castle. Love the signature decor of NYX and all the modern artistic details. The are in the hall and the common areas were cool. The bathroom sink was too small, and my sink was clogged and very slow to drain.. I didn't mention it to them because I didn't get back to my hotel until after midnight. But I have no doubt they would have addressed it right away had I the time and energy to mention it at the time. Overall the room was a bit too tight but the decor was really cool so I was fine with that.

I had a very nice stay here this past week. Location is excellent. Really convenient to everything. The room was clean and housekeeping was excellent. There was a glitch with the AC, but resolved by 12:30am, then no issues. I got the breakfast 2 mornings (convenient, fine, nice dining area, but I wouldn't say the food was amazing, but it was good). I do wish the elevator only worked with your room card (although there are open stairs, so they would need doors at the bottom), but it seemed very safe and the noise level was fine/quiet. Bonus that the windows actually open and not just a crack. Also bonus that the room had a mini-fridge which was super helpful (and coffee/tea/water in the room). Bed, sheets and pillows all quite comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel. (Shoutout to Lewis for being super helpful and friendly/professional).

Where do I start. Because of a mix up with our room, we received an upgrade. Not sure what the upgrade was, as the room was quite small and probably the the smallest I've ever stayed in. The hotel is quirky with its decor, which I would describe as industrial. The rooms are very functional if you're only using it as a base. Old town square is approximately a ten minute walk away, so location is really good.

We stayed in a “Suite” for 3 nights and, in my honest opinion, this hotel does not feel like the 4* it’s advertised as. I can see the attempt at an industrial-style design, but for me it came across as cold and uninviting. The room layout was awkward and not convenient at all. By day two the toilet had started to smell, which was unpleasant, and the noise from the central air conditioning system was constant throughout our stay. On the positive side, the bed was extremely comfortable and the location was excellent. The staff were also very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us. Having stayed at an NYX hotel previously in another location, which was on a completely different level, this was disappointing in comparison. We won’t be staying here again, and I think there are better hotels in this price range, or even cheaper, nearby.

Nice hotel in a nice location with the nicest staff 💖 Left my backpack full of clothes on the train, but Petra and Ilian at the front desk helped me look for it and found it eventually. They, along with Lewis and Mehad, made sure this wouldn't put a damper on our short vacation in Prague. Love them, love the city, and love the hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at NYX Hotel Prague, and a huge part of that was thanks to Petra at the front desk. When we first arrived, our room—while a great value—was a bit smaller than expected. Petra welcomed us with such warmth and immediately turned things around. She upgraded us to a beautiful suite with a fantastic view, and from that moment on, made our experience truly memorable. Throughout our stay, Petra was a friendly, familiar face. She gave us fantastic recommendations for cafes, restaurants, and sights around the city that we might have otherwise missed. Her hospitality and personal touch made us feel truly cared for. The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located—but it’s the people like Petra who make it exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend NYX Hotel Prague, and if you’re lucky enough to be greeted by Petra, you’re in for a great stay!

VERY convenient location, VERY clean hotel. Nice breakfasts, helpful staff, as soon as you step outside you are already where you want to be. Maximum of 5 minutes walk would get you literally anywhere in the best center spots. Reception personnel are incredibly nice and will literally help you with anything. Special thanks to Sergej on front desk, contributed a lot to quality of our trip elevating it to next level. Management - take notes, he makes your hotel an even better place than it already is 😁

We had a good start at NYX Prague. The staff were friendly, helpful and the facilities were good. The decor is something very different to other hotels but definitely memorable. The only slight issue was the size of our room and value for money compared to some others around there.

Yelp
Such a unique hotel! This place is on the weird side. They do all kinds of great art all over the place, so every detail is made into some sort of masterpiece! When you come into the lobby, you see that the chairs are ceramic sculptures- the walls are covered with crazy graffiti, and there are 2 life-sized ceramic jaguars by the stairs. The staff was extremely pleasant and fast with getting the check-in taken care of. They offer breakfast in the on-site restaurant, but it was pretty expensive, so I didn't take them up on that. The room was good sized, but pretty dark. The lighting was all futuristic industrial style, meets the zoo for some reason. There were zebra prints and zoom ins of fur on the walls for art. The place was kinda over the top with the art- it was quite enjoyable, and was unlike any other hotel I've been in. They have brochures that list off the famous artists who did the artwork here! The bathroom was nice, and had a mosaic of another building in Prague on the shower wall. When checking out, they had a coffee pot, but full of hot wine. Hmmm. There's a Vietnamese bhan mi shop next door, which connects to the lobby! Score!

Yelp
This is a new hotel which opened in early 2017. The welcome from reception staff was warm & friendly and very helpful. The decor is interesting and different but for me it gives too industrial an air. The breakfast room was wonderfully airy and bright. However as you walk into the lobby of the hotel you pass by a nice bag shop on the left and a Vietnamese street food restaurant on right - one issue we had was every time we walked into the lobby from the front door we noticed an unpleasant odour - we mentioned it to the reception staff who hadn't noticed it. But it was very off putting every time we walked through the lobby. The lift is what it is but when you get to your floor you then cross over again what seems an industrial style of space to a door which then leads you into a dark corridor where rooms are located - with numbers highly illuminated. I'm sure for some it's new and interesting but not really my style. The double room we had was a good size as was the ensuite bathroom (could do with functional air circulation to extract steam from bathroom). The bed was wonderfully comfortable enabling good sleeps only to be woken during night by folks entering the corridor & the entrance door banging shut - very annoying! Overall it's a great central Prague location

Yelp
This place is hip and central, and the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful. We didn't notice any smell ... it's in the middle of Prague, surrounded by a lot of restaurants, and they clearly make an effort to keep everything clean. It's not sea breeze, but not offensive at all. The rooms are flashy and futuristic. If you don't like giant images of lions on glass, surrounded by a neon light (which you can turn off), then this is probably not your place. If you're not troubled by a little Blade Runner -esque mood-lighting, this is a great place.
