We had a lovely stay at NYX Hotel Warsaw as two couples traveling from Iceland. The hotel itself is modern, beautifully designed, and in a fantastic location. The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable — truly a classy atmosphere. We especially appreciated the rooftop bar and the overall vibe of the hotel, which felt lively and urban in all the right ways.||That said, there were a few things that made our stay more complicated than it needed to be. We had booked and paid for the rooms from the night before, as our flight arrived very early in the morning (around 4–5 a.m.), so we were not requesting early check-in — we had simply secured the night before. While we received the rooms upon arrival, our request to have rooms close together was not honored. One couple was placed on the 18th floor and the other much lower.||This created problems because of the hotel’s elevator keycard system — you can only access your assigned floor and common areas, so we couldn’t even visit each other’s rooms. One of the couples asked to be moved, and the hotel did accommodate that the following day — but only at 3 p.m. This split our day in half, as one of us had to go back to check into the new room while the rest were out enjoying the city. For such a short trip (only four nights), losing that kind of time was disappointing.||The elevator system also felt unnecessarily confusing. There’s no clear indication that an elevator is coming after you press the button, so we sometimes waited without knowing if one had been called at all. It caused a bit of uncertainty and frustration during an otherwise smooth stay.||That said, we truly enjoyed the hotel overall. The rooms were excellent, the staff were kind, and the location made exploring Warsaw easy and fun. Despite these minor hiccups, we would definitely stay at NYX again and would recommend it to others — just be sure to double-confirm room arrangements if you’re traveling with a group, and bring a little patience for the elevators!
