We could not wish for a better view! When we got there, the outside door was closed so we thought they were closed that day (although the sign said they are open everyday). So I called them and with 3 out of 10 Portuguese words that I know of, I asked them if they were open, and the lady confirmed they were (cue the happy song)!
We sat down under the tree, and we were already happy. We got the shrimps to start with and there is a high chance this will be my starter as well as entree the next time... It was very unique, I really liked the sweet sauce that comes with it (I thought it was a pepper jam). We ordered the 2 fish dishes in the menu for the main course, they were OK. I had a hard time with the bones. However, the potatoes that came with it were surprisingly tasty. We also ordered the pear with port as dessert and it was delicious, a great option for a light dessert. When we were there, there were 2 other tables of tourists besides us, none of us could speak Portuguese but we all got by. The menu was in English, which was very helpful.
