The restaurant is at a perfect location. Beautiful view of the Peneda Gerês national park. The food was divine and the presentation was top notch. The servers were great and very attentive to all our needs. The wine was delicious. This is a must go to place at the Peneda Gerês park

Inspiring views, to say the least. The staff are attentive, offering a wide range of local specialties with a lot of heart and spirit. Loved the entire experience.

Not worth the trip simply for the food. Food is good, just not terrific, as I was expecting it to be. Fantastic views and atmosphere. Service was a bit sloppy at times. This is the problem with moving up the price ladder. It's not enough to get a fancy building and increasing prices. Everything else must also improve accordingly. Was expecting much better. Can only recommend if you're nearby.

Amazing place with very friendly owners and staff, local cuisine, beautiful views. Very lucky we found this spot! We had the bread, salad, different fish dishes, chocolate mousse, and a bottle of wine. Highly recommend staying the night at one of their cottages!!

Amazing and delicious tradicional very tastefull food. We loved it! The restaurant has a breathtaking view through the Gerês landscape and the staff is very kind and welcoming. We recommend it!

We went there for dinner in August and all I can say was that everything was wonderful. From the food, to the view, to the service. Would definitely recommend trying the “segredo de familia” for desert. An absolute must try in this region

We could not wish for a better view! When we got there, the outside door was closed so we thought they were closed that day (although the sign said they are open everyday). So I called them and with 3 out of 10 Portuguese words that I know of, I asked them if they were open, and the lady confirmed they were (cue the happy song)! We sat down under the tree, and we were already happy. We got the shrimps to start with and there is a high chance this will be my starter as well as entree the next time... It was very unique, I really liked the sweet sauce that comes with it (I thought it was a pepper jam). We ordered the 2 fish dishes in the menu for the main course, they were OK. I had a hard time with the bones. However, the potatoes that came with it were surprisingly tasty. We also ordered the pear with port as dessert and it was delicious, a great option for a light dessert.When we were there, there were 2 other tables of tourists besides us, none of us could speak Portuguese but we all got by. The menu was in English, which was very helpful.
