"Seton a hill some 2,000 feet above Papeete, with impossible views of the sea and Moorea beyond, O Belvédère is the place locals take visitors for thrilling sunsets and good food. The restaurant and bar have the air of a tree house—the outdoor terraceis even built around the trunk of a tree. An inviting swimming pool on the hill below and occasional live music add to the already strong appeal. Arrange for a 5 p.m. pickup from your hotel to reach the restaurant in time fora celebratory sundowncocktail. The fondue is highly recommended."

A winding a narrow road leads to beautiful views. The food is excellent and reasonable. The bathrooms are clean with the best view of any bathroom i have ever used. The blue cheese sauce is the best.

This place is nuts! The road to get to the restaurant is pretty nuts and takes you through dense jungle on a one lane road up about 400 meters. But it's well worth it! Probably one of the most unique and exciting places I've been before. The service was awesome and someone was playing records that set the mood of the whole place.
We made it in time for sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. It was so great to spend time up there and lounge for dinner. There was a pool to swim in, pool table. And many other areas to enjoy. I will be back for sure!

The restaurant was amazing. The drive up there, terrifying! Make the drive during the day to learn the one lane road up the ridge before hanging there for an evening. The restaurant is definitely worth the adrenaline rush of getting there!

One of the better restaurants on Tahiti, this place serves great French food in a spectacular location. The wine list and cocktails are both great, and the raclette charcuterie spread is quite unique - a machine heats the cheese to be scraped off and paired with meats and other things. The view of the canyon and the ocean beyond is fantastic.

Amazing views, well priced happy hour drinks and tons of free board games / darts / pool. The sunset was fantastic!

We neglected to make reservations (apparently mandatory) so were pleasantly surprised when they were able to seat us! A small menu, but large plates and portions - Everything we had exceeded expectations. Local beers and mixed drinks, an open kitchen, pool table, and oh yeah... THE VIEW! WOW! Absolutely worth the drive. Our service was friendly, but definitely on "Island Time". A must stop in Tahiti for sunset drinks!

We came for happy hour and the views. Cocktails were 1000 cfp. Well worth the trek up the mountain but road is extremely narrow and many pot holes etc. just be aware and drive slowly. Can’t comment on dinner but it was a fun, different way to experience Tahiti

Just drove up for the views. Restaurant wasn't open, but we were allowed in to see the views, which are amazing.
Drive up is crazy! Narrow road with lots of hairpin turns.
