Lovely traditional place. I ordered different dishes and they were perfectly cooked. Portions are very big and price… you can’t ever find anything similar. Keep in mind it’s a very small place with only one person running the orders, so be patient, it will be worthy

A truly local Portuguese tasca, and we were very happy with the experience. It’s a small place, and if you arrive just before 7 pm and queue at the door, you can usually get a table with the first seating. The place fills up immediately once it opens. If you can’t make it around 7, we wouldn’t recommend going again before 8 pm. This can be a useful tip for future visitors. The menu is handwritten and only in Portuguese, and the staff don’t speak English. Also, the menu can’t be translated properly with Google Translate, so it’s best to choose your dishes by checking the photos on Google Maps beforehand. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was a genuine local tasca vibe, prices were very reasonable, and portions were generous. We would definitely recommend it.

Cheap authentic local restaurant. Grilled fish was really well made. With steamed vegetables, a side salad, bread and house red wine, it was really nice. For less than 10 euros, it's a bargain as well. It's a one-man-show. Menu is hand written. Seating may be uncomfortably dense. (The deserts looked good, see photo, but I haven't tried).

A genuine, old-style Portugese restaurant, to my knowledge family-run. Far from the tourist track. Very popular with those who value good quality, the vibe and relatively low prices. Guests are a mix of locals and people who heard about the place from somewhere. The menu is seafood/fish heavy, with some meat options, all in Portugese. Use translation on your phone to order. Be early to catch a seat (it’s a small place) as it becomes crowded after about 20:00.

Definitely a hole in the wall place but man the food was amazing. This place will not disappoint if you want good Portuguese food. Definitely not a classy joint, but the food was top notch delicious and cheap! Great experience here.

A hidden gem with amazing grilled fish (plus broccoli and potatoes) and dessert. Even the house wine was really lovely. Old style, takes you bake to 20th century, with tiles on the walls, hand written menu, cash only palyment, and old fashioned TV in one corner of the room :) Man serving us was very polite and patient with us. Even though we dont speek portughese and his english is also lacking, we managed to communicate everything. Also, prices are really good. Next time we'll be in Lisbon we plan to visit this place for sure <3

This is a hidden gem in Lisbon! We found this place thanks to a local that recommended it. It's outside the tourist zone but not too far away and it's where locals like to go eat! Prices are amazing, we had three orders of the soup of the day, an order of chorizo with bread and cheese, three orders of the ribs, two orders of their bolacha dessert and 6 beers and we paid €45. Everything was delicious, the ribs we 100% recommend! they are tasty and juicy and best ordered medium! The owner runs the show, he is the host, the server, the one who cuts the meat, the one at cash, and although he isn't your typical waiter and is a bit more quiet and to the point, he is still proud of his locale, his food and making sure you enjoy your meal! Tip, make a reservation (he only speaks Portuguese though) or go early as this place fills up QUICK! and if you have to wait, do it, because trust me, it is worth the wait!
