This is such a special place. As the name calls, The Heaven of Boipeba, it sits on top of a hill with incredible stunning sea views and the coast, also from the rooms. I stayed at this corner Deluxe room, spacious, very well done, now with ACs, incredible terrace. Everything is very well curated and taken care of by the super friendly staff, the delicious breakfast all made to order with those views, and killer cocktails for the best sunset of the island. Totally recommended - just a heads up you need to be somewhat fit to face the trail up and down from the hotel to the villa/beaches, but it’s all worth it to keep up with your workout routine and the entire island anyway is all made of trails and hikes to go around the beaches.

Amazing place that cannot be recommended enough. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but sunsets will make up for that. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff is really friendly and the food delicious......Every night at 5 it becomes busy for the sunset but if you stay here you have the place almost to yourself later in the evening.

This place is amazing, guys! I just went there few days ago to watch the sunset and what a view! They have a lot of drinks and I was treated very well since I arrived there by Lua, a girl with a big smile and very welcoming. Thank you very much! Just love it!! 😘

Honestly this place is special. The main building is beautifully set in the lush vegetation on top of a hill strategically built to face the sunset. Breakfast on the terrace is a great daily ritual with the food & drinks prepared for you to order, the options are great and the quality is perfect. Sunset is a big event with non-guests allowed to come and share the experience with a cocktail in hand. Guests get preferential table allocation too - just give them a nod during the day. The really great part is the annexed building with the rooms - they have been cleverly designed to have a glass wall at the front which cannot be overlooked. Therefore you have total privacy and can sleep with the curtains open and wake up to the sunrise, there is even a bathtub outside on the varanda. Be ready for a climb up a dirt road to get there - it is honestly not difficult at all, although it’s not so well signed so the first time is a bit hit and miss. We loved everything and everyone and will be back !! Marcus & Kecia

Great exterior and interior design, beautiful rooms, and amazing tropical scenery with breathtaking views. Breakfast was really good too! Rooms could have been a bit cleaner though.. and location-wise, the price to pay for the amazing views is that the hotel is not that easy to reach. Backpacks preferred over regular luggage (as the terrain is unpaved and gets muddy when it rains) but too much weight on your back will also make things challenging. If you’re prepared though, you’re in for a real treat.

Pros - the space is incredibly beautiful and beautifully decorated - the rooms are decent size and all have a view over the jungle - the food is great! The drinks are generous. Coffee is lovely and dark! - the walk to Cueira and Tassimirim beaches is very pleasant. Highly recommend it (it’s all downhill as well, which is nice) - our varanda did not have a bathtub but it did have a hammock, which is lovely for a nap. - the staff is helpful and friendly. They’re really outstanding! They will give you contacts for the luggage porters (carregadores) who charge ~ 60BRL to take your luggage all the way up to the hotel. They will also give you contacts of people who can help arrange a taxi transfer from Salvador (720BRL) or even a boat transfer if they have one on the day (the company needs a minimum of 10 people to run a service). Cons - it is quite a hike to get up to the hotel. The way up is very steep and sandy. When it rains, it becomes somewhat slippery. You can get one of the quad bike tour guys to give you a ride up (30BRL) which will take you about 2/3 of the way but which you can only do during the day. If you go out for drinks and dinner in town, get ready for a workout on your way back to a hot room. - the rooms do not have aircon and the fan(s) provided do little to cool it down - shower pressure is v low, which is understandable given how far away from the centre is it. FYI - this is a jungle lodge so expect lots of ambient jungle noise. That’s part of the charm but also make sure to pack good quality earbuds. Sleeping masks are a must: the sun rises fairly early and there is no way of keeping the room dark during the day. - generally the heat is very intense because of how humid it is ~ 90% humidity. Be prepared for that!

Céu was a great place to stay in Boipeba! It is a bit of a hike up a hill. Consider hiring someone at the dock when you arrive to help with luggage for R$15-20 per bag if bringing lots of bags or large luggage, as the uneven and sandy path is not suitable for roller bags. However, once you get there it's more than worth it. Getting to/from the downtown is a 7-10min walk, and the nearest beaches are about just a little more. The staff is friendly and attentive, and can offer suggestions about places to eat, things to do, or even provide contacts to organize boat trips and day excursions. There were some English speaking staff members for those who don't speak Portuguese. The food, juices, and cocktails are all great; take advantage of the high quality (unlimited) free breakfast from 8-10am if staying here. The menu isn't big, but everything was very tasty and the ingredients are high quality. The rooms all have a large private balcony with a table, chairs, hammock, and ocean views. Some rooms are a bit larger and even have a bathtub on the balcony as they are situated in a way you can't be seem from the balconies (though there is a shower inside all rooms too). It is a great place to watch the sunset and people often come up for drinks/dinner around that time, so if you are staying here during the busy season and plan to have dinner then make sure to reserve a table. The property only has 6 rooms, but the bar and restaurant are not limited to guests. There were only a few small improvements we would have wished for the rooms: more space for clothing with hangers, and some screens on the windows and balcony door so they can left open for a breeze without letting mosquitos in (there is a mosquito net around the beds though). But these did not ruin our stay by any means.
