Ô de Casa Hostel & Bar

Very sociable hostel with wonderful people! The bar had the best playlist I ever heard, I was Shazamming all the time samba and bossa nova songs, and the guys there cooked very creative and tasty tapiocas. The area around it is safe and walkable even at night, full of bars with live music and cultural things to do. Before I discovered this place I was a bit meh about São Paulo but now I am hooked and can’t wait to go back. No doubt the nicest hostel I found in Brazil so far!

My favorite hostel in the world! People who come here always extend or come back several times (like me), because o de casa has the most lovely, fun and energizing staff and vibes. Great place to meet new people easily, go out and have endless amounts of fun. Besides the great location, pool and events every day it would be worth just to come for the amazing people working here and to dance with them. Especially Rica taking people out to different places makes this hostel-experience very special!!

Not the most amazing hostel in the world, but a great hostel for São Paulo. Good rooms, clean facilities, friendly staff. I stayed in a hotel on my first night to get over travel tiredness but to be honest I should have come straight here.

Stayed there for 5 days. The hostel is realy cool and the staff members are super friendly and helpful. The pool is very fun, and the bar has good drinks at fair prices. Location is also very good, there is a metro station nearby, and a lot of restaurants, bars and clubs to go out.

Friendly and engaging staff, plenty to do with walking tours and nighttime activities. Good people and vibe around the hostel. Really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it to solo travelers. Clean, good food, good energy around the place - I will be back!

This was an extremely welcoming and friendly hostel, perfect for solo travelers. The staff were beyond friendly and all multilingual. Breakfast could be ordered every morning from the bar for a good price. Coffe was free! The kitchen for making your own food was however very limited. The air in the mixed dorm were I slept was quite stuffed, probably due to the moist. However the AC was on a good temperature and I still slept great. Towels and blankets were available for rent. The neighborhood was great, with lots of bars and restaurants. Felt safe walking around the blocks surrounding the hostal. I will come back if I’m ever in São Paulo again.

This hostel had super friendly staff. From the incredibly positive vibes Rika, to the barmen and the other helpers around, this place felt like people that worked there actually really enjoyed their workplace and related to each other as family. The dorm room was alright. Nothing to complain about. Comfortable beds, clean, filtered water fountains, free local liquor shot, decent internet. Good neighborhood. Restaurants to safely walk around to. Big El Dorado shopping mall just a quick $3 USD Uber ride away. Would stay here again. :)

The best hostel I’ve been so far. The ambience, the team, the parties, the pool. I felt like home. The staff were so amazing and very helpful. Everything is very clean and all the facilities are spotless. Many different areas to relax and hang out with people. I will definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting São Paulo. The area is lovely and full of life, good restaurants and bars. Can’t wait to be back. Much love team ♥️
