Ô de Casa Hostel & Bar

Ôde Casa has earned numerous awards, and deservedly so. I spent a month volunteering there and cherished every moment with the amazing team and guests. The vibe is laid-back, entertaining, and welcoming. The staff are always supportive and bring positive energy. There’s a wide range of daily activities, and evenings are filled with group gatherings at the bar or lively celebrations. With restrooms cleaned twice a day, the place is very tidy. I deeply miss everyone and look forward to returning soon!

Such an amazing place to stay! Amazing rooms and great bathrooms, it’s super clean and organized, i never stayed in such great hostel before! Cheers for the amazing staff that even when it was a chaos with the rain they made us feel comfortable and safe! I extremely recommend the place, be aware that you will have lots of fun there :)

I liked the hostel. It gave good vibes, very chill! Every night they have a little party. However it was not that loud, I even could sleep through these parties. The location was also perfect, very safe with lots of good restaurants

O de casa is great (that's why everyone stays there!). The staff were super friendly & made us feel right at home. They do a good job getting the party going with free shots and beer pong, but there is also loads of space to relax and chill if you need some down time. The cosy little book nook space is really lovely & there were loads of outside tables to chill and eat meals etc. Advertised as having no kitchen but there was a food prep space, microwave and grill of sorts. One downside is that some bathrooms didn't have sinks which made it a long walk to wash your hands/brush your teeth. We were in the basic room by the pool- cool bed set up but definitely not enough floor space for 12 people and luggage, and not enough lockers for every guest. The hostel is big enough that there's always people around but small enough that it didn't feel impersonal, and in a great area for batman alley and exploring. We loved it!

I stayed hear for a month and was treated extremely well. The hostel plans new events every night and has a great communal atmosphere. It’s a great location with many restaurants nearby as well as clubs. The rooms are cozy and the communal areas are great. The pool is heated which is great especially wt night. The staff are super friendly and caring. Johnny, Yukie and Emily were a lot of fun and made sure we were always having the best time. We were given a warm welcome as well as a heavy send off when we were leaving. I will absolutely be coming back and highly recommend staying here

NOT WOMAN SAFE!!!||||I am brazilian and always loved to party at the Ô de Casa hostel because of the atmosphere and diversity of people there. But unfortunately I don’t feel safe there anymore. There is no protocol for women harassment, man there get away with it! In December 1st, I went there with two friends. After the bar closed and a group of guests led to a bar close by the hostel. At some point one of the guests (Russian) said goodbye to everyone, in my turn he spoiled the drink that was in my hand and started cleaning with his hand even tho I didn’t asked ad he took advantage of it and harassed me by touching my chest. It was never expected of me because it never happened with any other guest neither brazilians, I felt intimidated and insecure. I walked away and a friend who was with me asked him to apologize but instead he put his arms around my neck and kissed my ear when said “nothing is gonna happen” making sure that I knew that even if I told anyone, nobody would do anything. Once again, unfortunately, he was right. The nect day I came back to the hostel to tell what happened and there wasn’t any manager to deal with it. And the only worker who was there and listened said they couldn’t do anything once it wasn’t inside the hostel. Not even a proper dealing with the victim was presented, not a safe room, not a note, no nothing, just avoiding to deals with it. So please girls be safe! I don’t want it to happen to anyone in anyway ever! I feel disappointed and disturbed about that, and will never comeback to this place, ever!

This is probably the third time I'm staying in this hostel while visiting Sao Paulo and can't be happier to have come back. The vibe is still the same and the people working here are always nice, welcoming and amazing. Feels like home and not just a regular hostel. The food as always is marvelous, the parties at night and the tempered pool just make this so so worth it. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else that's not O de Casa, here in Sp.

Every time I return to São Paulo, I will stay at this hostel. It has everything one could possibly want: Good food and drinks, fun parties, plenty of spaces to relax, a heated pool and the most friendly and accommodating staff. As a solo traveller you will probably make a friend before you even reach the reception. The environment is ideal to meet new people and find connection.
