Ô de Casa Hostel & Bar

I met lots of travellers around Brazil who stayed at Ô de Casa when they were in Sao Paulo and we all agree that this hostel is kinda magical.|I went on 3 city tours with Rica ❤️​ and met amazing people with whom I ended up travelling to Rio and Ilha Grande.|I was there for 2 weeks in total, and it is not too much at all. There are lots of things to enjoy in Sao Paulo. The neighborhood has lots of coffee shops to work, plenty of thrift shops, and restaurants. The partys til 11pm at the bar before going out are perfect to socialize. (Free shots at 7:30pm btw)|As a woman, I felt safe.|Also, the staff is lovely, I love them all. And you'll love them too.|Espacially Marilia, Mateus, Pedro, Juan, Jaqui, Rica eheh ❤️​

No words for how this beautiful place and it's people made me feel like home!! Such a special hostel in Vila Madalena - This was my first time in Brazil and I had so much fun and felt safe as a woman in my stay. A very important thing you need to know: if you don't know SP, Rica will take you in the tour the hostel offers to their guests. We walk a lot and learn a lot about the Brazilian culture and it's massive diversity. I'll definitely be back and totally recommend everyone to stay here 💗💗💗

If you want to get the full São Paulo experience, stay here. You will have tons of fun every night! Everyday is a new adventure here. It is located in a very good area, very near a lot of local clubs and bars. I highly recommend this hostel. The service is immaculate.

The 4 bedroom room was wild, the ladders to get to them are quite higStaff were absolutely excellent, they are very kind and watch out for you (Sao Paulo can be unsafe, and they even walked us to the taxi early hours of morning, and offered us to go home early on pub crawl to ensure we felt safe, above and beyond). Walking tours from hostel were an absolute highlight - I would stay again just for them

My favorite hostel in the world! People who come here always extend or come back several times (like me), because o de casa has the most lovely, fun and energizing staff and vibes. Great place to meet new people easily, go out and have endless amounts of fun. Besides the great location, pool and events every day it would be worth just to come for the amazing people working here and to dance with them. Especially Rica taking people out to different places makes this hostel-experience very special!!

Very sociable hostel with wonderful people! The bar had the best playlist I ever heard, I was Shazamming all the time samba and bossa nova songs, and the guys there cooked very creative and tasty tapiocas. The area around it is safe and walkable even at night, full of bars with live music and cultural things to do. Before I discovered this place I was a bit meh about São Paulo but now I am hooked and can’t wait to go back. No doubt the nicest hostel I found in Brazil so far!

Lovely hostel, i got a great start to my trip to brazil here. They have a swimming pool, private rooms and the staff is really generous and helpful. Especially pedro, who really helped me with everything i needed. I Highly recommend this place!
