Our company of four people had a lovely lunch on the terrace of O Farinho da Afurada in the cute fisherman's village Vila Nova de Gaia. We enjoyed some very fresh fish and squid (robalo) straight from the outside grill.
The food was not fancy at all, served with a slice of lemon and some potatoes. I do recommend ordering some extra veggies, because they are not included in the dish. The fresh fish is clearly the star here. The sardines, the sea bream and the squid were all excellent. And the price for the main course was very reasonable. We payed 15.50 for a very royal portion of sardines.
