We stayed four nights at O Lugar, and had a very good experience. The room was light and spacious, with a veranda facing south. Good quality in all details, and a warm, personal and professional service from Pedro, Rita, and all the rest of the staff.

The bed was very worn and the joints in the bathroom were moldy, but still great for a short stay. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly!

A very nice place in a great location on the edge of port of Porto Covo. Pedro and Rita are both excellent hosts who go out of their way to help. The rooms are quite small so if you have a lot of luggage then you might need to think twice. The view from the room is very nice and the breakfast is brought to your room and is of a high quality though it should be noted there are no hot items like eggs.There is some environmental noise like barking dogs nearby that might trouble light sleepers, but of course this is not the fault of the hotel owners. Porto Covo is a lovely town with nice restaurants and great beaches though sea maybe a bit rough for swimming. A strong recommendation.

This place is a gem. Porto Covo is lovely but our stay was made perfect by the hospitality shown by the staff of this B&B. Breakfasts were outstanding, room, small but adequate and comfy. Balconies look over the cove. If I get back to this part of the world, I will stay here again.

Very nice rooms, very friendly host and great breakfast with fresh and regional products. Rooms are very cosy and cleaned perfectly every day. Great view from balcony. Would loved to stay longer.
