Set near the fishing port, the property is near public transportation and within walking distance from the beaches and restaurants.Five of the rooms have a balcony where you can enjoy the view. All rooms are en-suite, with free toiletries, a hairdryer and towels. The property is decorated in a minimalist and relaxed style, combining Scandinavian and Mediterranean inspirations.It has a comfortable shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property. There is no television in any room of the house but there are games in the lounge, promoting rest and socialisation. We stayed four nights at O Lugar, and had a very good experience. The room was light and spacious, with a veranda facing south. Good quality in all details, and a warm, personal and professional service from Pedro, Rita, and all the rest of the staff.

The bed was very worn and the joints in the bathroom were moldy, but still great for a short stay. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly!

A very nice place in a great location on the edge of port of Porto Covo. Pedro and Rita are both excellent hosts who go out of their way to help. The rooms are quite small so if you have a lot of luggage then you might need to think twice. The view from the room is very nice and the breakfast is brought to your room and is of a high quality though it should be noted there are no hot items like eggs.There is some environmental noise like barking dogs nearby that might trouble light sleepers, but of course this is not the fault of the hotel owners. Porto Covo is a lovely town with nice restaurants and great beaches though sea maybe a bit rough for swimming. A strong recommendation.

This place is a gem. Porto Covo is lovely but our stay was made perfect by the hospitality shown by the staff of this B&B. Breakfasts were outstanding, room, small but adequate and comfy. Balconies look over the cove. If I get back to this part of the world, I will stay here again.

Such a lovely place and wonderful host who really made us feel welcome. Had a room with a balcony which definitely was worth it, even though it's not directly on the sea, it was still amazing with breakfast in the morning sun.
