What a place… behind old bricked wall, you find and exquisite garden, full of antique furniture that does not match, but makes the room feel magic. Food was outstanding… I never order Risotto outside of Vercelli o Milano, but this was done beautifully (with Maigre… Branzino on top). Octopus tentacles Panko fried and a sweet potato mash was also excellent. My new favorite restaurant on the island

More pretentious then it merits. Very nice locale and plating was pretty but service was slow and taste nothing exciting. Also very strict about the children's menu which was basic and being only until 12 years old, waiter loudly exclaiming in a rude way when we asked for an exception for our 73 year old grandmother with stomach issues.

Very cool. Enter through a dense garden into a wonderfully quirky dining room set under a sloped roof and ending in a mini bamboo forest, all brimming with art and a slick mix of antique and modern furnishing. Food and wine both universally excellent. Service in line with local standards, which is to say it’s not America so be a little patient.

Lovely setting, food was good but not amazing. Experience was impacted by rude and condescending waiter. Snorts and eye rolls when not happy with requests. Not particularly helpful with wine choices. Made remark that typical English and Irish when we ordered brownie and cookie desserts. Exception as other waiting staff were very pleasant. Would not recommend this place as a result of the above.

Thought the restaurant was lovely, food was very good and well presented but there was one waiter who was very blunt and disrespectful to us. He rolled his eyes at our orders because they were more basic items on the menu. Although the other waiters and waitresses were very helpful. Overall I think it’s a personal choice whether you visit because the food is very good and the atmosphere is lovely for dinner but the service does dull down this review

Excellent food, nice Ambience, Service good but slow in peak times, missing some waiters. Definitely a recommendation. Need to reserve a table.

Nice decor. we went for the lunch 20 Euro platter which was great value. Some of it was very nice but there were some misses too. I didn’t rate the fish and there was cheese advertised on it but none in reality. The drinks are quite pricey here so despite the good value platter the bill was normal price for the island. Enjoyed the meal but think there are better places around

Very rude waiter. Turned what should have been a wonderful evening into a tense and upsetting experience, defined by a complete lack of warmth and hospitality, instead bordering on hostile. We should have left after the starters but instead stayed for the toughest tuna steak and mushy overcooked vegetables. A lovely setting, what a pity. We would urge Madame Sardine not to recommend this place in future unless attitudes change.
