Beautiful spot up on the cliff! Got to watch the sunset. Food was good, very fresh fish and everything prepared very clean. Nothing I would say was elevated but very fresh. I had the swordfish, my husband had the monkfishand prawn skewers. Service was okay. Bring a jacket it gets chilly at night this time of year!

Google
The restaurant is amazing, it gives you one of the best view I have ever seen in my life. Also the food is delicious, I had a beef Tuna, absolutely worth trying it also, as I am not very into fish, but that dish changed my mind. In general, it's a fish/sea good specialty place. Also the service is an example for so many other places, very friendly, attentious and helpful.

It was a vert nice experience overall. A huge plus is the beautiful surroundings. Parking is small so perhaps better to leave the car further away. Service was great but our order of bread was forgotten. Unfortunately we have tried just a few items from the menu. Fish soup and octopus salad were amazing!

I had the delicious Arroz a Tamboril for main course and a Greek salad and Almeijoas a Bulhao de pato as starters. Food was excellent and the view is simply wonderful. This is a must go restaurant if you are visiting Arrifana.

Google
The good; amazing views, the fish was fresh and the sea food too, big variety of desserts. The bad; overpriced, we waited 1 hour for the food and the restaurant wasn’t full and forgot one of the orders. Would not recommend considering the options you have in the surrounding areas

The seafood platter was amazing! Presentation and value were epic. The views were incredible. Our waiter made great recommendations for wine pairing as well.

Yelp
Stopped here on a recommendation from our hotel. View was amazing. Service was excellent and the seafood was so fresh and delicious. We had the baked goat cheese appetizer that was so good, but not too sweet with the honey. Then had the seafood dish for 2 with 2 different kinds of fish, shrimp, blue mussels and razor clams in a delicious sauce. We couldn't eat it all, but wish we could have. Prices were very reasonable. We plan to go back again tomorrow to try new dishes.

Yelp
delicious food with a million dollar view! the service was excellent-everyone made us feel welcome and not like a tourist. I would definitely recommend this-be sure to be there for the sunsets!

Yelp
The location of the restaurant is wonderful, and we really enjoyed the beginning of the evening and service was good. Me and my wife had the Povo Suavo dish (octopus stew) and were surprised by the soft almost slimy texture but since it was boiled and a very local dish, we'd go ahead. We left our plates half empty and left around 1030 pm - and at 4 am we were both violently ill. Diarrhea & vomiting: food poisoning. It took 24 hours to recuperate and we took much medications to stabilize ourselves. We called the restaurant after all this to inform them what happened and the manager asked if we had to be hospitalized. We said no, but that we'd like compensation for the substantial bill.

Yelp
This place is perched on a cliff overlooking the most beautiful beach you've ever seen. It's stocked with the freshest fish from the Atlantic. You had dinner here with your kids and wife and everyone was happy with their fish rice and shrimp and mussels and fries. This is the place.

Yelp
If you go to O Paulo, make sure you are there early enough to see the sunset. The view is spectacular anyway due to its location on the cliff, but a sunset there tops everything. We sat outside and it Our party of three had starters (garlic bread with tuna paté, crab toast) and each of us had a fish main course. My wife could not resist to have a slice of cake for dessert. The fish was very fresh, my catch of the day (Sea Bass) was grilled to perfection. The eagle fish steak of my wife and the salmon steak of my mother in law were equally gorgeous, they were both delighted. It was nice to see my fish in whole before it went on the grill and see it back in whole when it came from the grill, crispy outside, juice on the inside and very tasty. If you love fish, seafood, any kind of shellfish, crab, clam, octopus etc. You are in very good hands here and I am sure we come back should we get the opportunity go come to the Algarve again. It was definitely worth driving the 40 minutes each way there and back from where we stayed near Lagos!

Yelp
If I could give negative stars I would (-*****), if you don't mind a cat walking across your table or climbing up your leg while selecting your food, only to have your waiter take a hour and a half to bring the wrong order, then you will love this place, I would not recommend this restaurant, period

Yelp
At first glace It felt like a food factory where everything has to go fast and be over with as the staff never stops running. The restaurant was crowded and yet they gave us a table right away. The menu was filled with fish specilities so we simply asked for some fresh fish. That's when a huge smile appeared on the moustached waiter's face. He just took us where all the fresh fish are and showed us a few that we could share. He even used a scale to weigh them so we would get more than enough. The fish was amazing, the house wine was more than ok and the different waiters really nice. It's a bit noisy tough but still completely worth it. Oh and if you're with kids, there's a huge tank with lobsters and all kinds of sea creatures.

Yelp
Expensive, mediocre service (we were rushed to order food, only very basic explanations on questions regarding the food). Very good fish and wine though.
