O Prego da Peixaria

The shrimp burger with choco buns is fantastic. It came out hot, soft and tasty. It was so good we lso tried the salmon burger and it was also mind blowing. I don’t understand some of the low ratings. This place was a highlight for us.

Camarão (Shrimp Burger Bun) The flavour was lovely and I also liked the toasted bun but the shrimp patty was a bit thin. 😏

We ordered the Teddy Boy and it’s nothing like the photo as shown. Taste wise is good and it’s like a America burger but different style. No much interaction with staffs as they were busy chatting between themselves. Atmosphere is good in the “time out market” but everything is inflated. You can probably get better food with cheaper price elsewhere.

Frankly a good option for the market however following the general trend, prices weren’t the cheapest. I ordered the teddy boy sandwich and at my own fault didn’t realise it wasn’t a traditional burger. I was pleasantly surprised with what I received however and was generally satisfied with my meal.

It delivered as expected. Tender steak, tasty, fair price. Only downside, chips tasted like fish...maybe they use the same oil? That's not exactly great Edit - four days later, on 31/03, staff was rude and unapproachable. Food was lacking salt and general taste, I now understand the three stars!

The vegan burger they made for me was appalling. It would have been better if they said they didn’t have a vegetarian option. Just a flat pattie which didn’t seem to be baked or fried. It was still soft. Together with some sad grated carrot it looked poor. At the end I had to bin it and get myself something else.

I was very much looking forward to eat a delicious prego with my friends who were visiting Lisbon for the first time. As I wanted a classic, I ordered the Dandy which is simply a slice of beef, some melted cheese and a some lettuce. What could go wrong, right? This is the thinnest slice of beef I've ever seen in my life, yes you could taste it but man, it didn't fill me up at all! That's whne it went even worse... The chips and the sweet patatoe fries were very greasy and soggy. When I eat a sweet patatoe fry, I'm always looking for some crunch which was totally missing here. The only consolation was perhaps the Hipster prego that my friend ordered. A 200 gr beef patty that was tasty but my prego looked and was miserable in comparison. At 9.5eur the sandwich, it's a steal... Lesson learned :)

Nothing obnoxiously wrong but nothing great either. Staff are fine. Food is good but not good enough for me to come back. Service is pretty quick. Veggie burger has good sauce and well toasted bun but the presentation is lacking and the patty is very soft.
