Ô Quy Hồ pass

One of the most stunning mountain passes in the North Vietnam worth driving from the bottom in Tam Duong - Lai Chau. Motorbike ride is more fun and real feel experience.

A route you should definitely experience by motorbike when coming to Sa Pa. Go over the top of the pass to near Lai Chau city. The road is wide and safe, the scenery is beautiful.

Amazing places for pictures!! This is where all the professional photographers take people for engagement and wedding photos. Insane views. About 25 mins from the city. Small fee to enter. Try the grilled meat skewers at the shop here, their sauce is freaking amazing!! Some of the best meat skewers I've had in my life. Hunger now just writing this.

Beautiful sunset after the rain!! It’s such a blessing in disguise. We came to the not too crowded viewpoint operated by some ethinic minority people. It cost 20k/ person to come inside and take photos. They also provided grilled sweet potatoes, grilled eggs and rice, some drinks too. The view is stunning!! Really worth it to go and see the pass even though it’s a lot different from when I came nearly 10 years ago! But definitely worth the ride!!

You don't need to buy the ticket 3$ and go to the tourist area, nothing to see on the top, hire a motorbike and take the road to mountain pass road. So impressive. Specially in daylight, you will have a lot of beautiful pictures. Please take a look in my picture, you will see how beautiful, majestic vietnam mountains are. You have to visit this when you're in Sapa, but don't go the the early morning, the fog is too much, can't see anything. Best time to go from 10am to 2pm.
