Made my first trip out to Oakdale for my birthday to browse some plants, and it was such a great experience. A crazy variety of plants and very affordable. Will definitely be back!

By far the best nursery in the Charlotte area, employees are friendly and knowledgeable. There’s so many different kinds of plants for any skill level or interest. Most of my plants have come from here and they’ve all been thriving!

Love this place and they have bonsai! I was recommended here by another local nursery because this is one of the few places in the area where you can pick up a ready to go bonsai. Amazing selection.

I have to brag on this place! Every single time I come here they have the most incredible selection of plants and one of the most diverse too! I have a specific niche for carnivorous plants and their arrangement is amazing! Their greenhouse setup is really nice and I love just walking around and seeing everything bloom so beautifully. They sell everything from bonsai to fruit trees to sarracenia to orchids to succulents and cacti and so much more and I never leave empty handed because theres always something that catches my eye! I love this place so much and the people that operate it and take care of the plants do such a great job!

I would rate no stars if I could because they sold me sick plants and after spending hundreds of dollars they wouldn’t do a exchange on one single plant , their staff was rude about it when I asked why they wouldn’t just do an exchange because the plant was sick not any other reason, and only after seeing more plants that were sick that they claim are healthy I chose not to purchase any more plants from them. They have no proper business ethics and they try to pass off sick plants as good healthy ones, please if anyone actually cares about contributing to a business that does right by the consumer don’t shop with these people, there are plenty of smaller green houses that do better and deserve your business that do not practice such horrible ethics.

Excellent place to get plants and flowers. The price for most items is quite good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are also knowledgeable. They have variety of flowers and houseplants available, they also sell varieties of tropical plants, which is quite hard to find on other nurseries. Excellent nursery.

I stopped by on my home to Boone and I'm so glad I did. They have the best selection of plants in all of NC, SC and GA. I especially love the great selection of Hoyas they have. I was able to score two Hoyas and one string of tear. Can't wait to come back

Oakdale offers a great selection of indoor plants, bonsai and outdoor plants. The greenhouses are clean and organized. It has a wider variety of sizes for house plants, compared to other local garden centers. The selection for pots and garden supplies is limited. There is a big parking lot but the greenhouses are not ideal for people in wheelchairs.
