Oakhurst Inn (Charlottesville, Virginia) 5 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Southern cities don’t get much more picturesque than Charlottesville, home of the legendarily scenic University of Virginia as well as Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello estate. And boutique hotels don’t get much more picturesque than the Oakhurst Inn, a beautiful 27-room lodging in an upscale residential neighborhood — and National Historic District — just off the university’s South Lawn." - Tablet Hotels

I went here for brunch to celebrate my birthday, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I found the location to be cute, affordable, and the food was very tasty. Great quality and unique flavors. The beignets were delicious! A must have. I enjoyed their locally brewed kombucha. The atmosphere was much louder and more boisterous than I would have imagined on a Sunday at noon. It was hard to hear my family talk at the little table we were squeezed into. The service was great, and I think that in the future I would sit outside because sound really carries in the little cottage. We made a reservation in advance.

Oakhurst inn is my favorite place in Charlottesville for a nice brunch, coffee or lunch. The food is very tasteful and the staff is amazing. A special mention for Kay who’s been working there for a while and who remembered me after a year spent abroad. Cheyenne and Sarai are also adorable and very welcoming. This place feels like home and I am so happy to be back. I’m a big fan of their granola, if I may suggest some extra yoghurt would be great. Love their chèvre salad, it’s simply amazing and their avocado toast. To be honest, everything tastes great!

Google
Cute restaurant and the food was amazing. Brunch at Oakhurst Inn is an absolute treat. The burger was phenomenal—juicy, flavorful, and elevated by a rich onion jam that hit all the right notes. The fried chicken sandwich was another highlight: perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a hot sauce that brought just the right amount of heat and tang. The beignets were a delightful surprise—pillowy soft and paired beautifully with citrus and raspberry jam. Pair that with a light, crisp mimosa and you’ve got yourself a perfect morning. Parking is stress-free thanks to the adjacent garage, and if the weather’s nice, definitely opt for a table outside. The patio is peaceful and adds so much charm to the experience. A must-visit brunch spot in town.

Google
We just had the most spectacular breakfast at Oakhurst. We both had a brown sugar Cinnamon latte that was over the top, my husband had the avocado toast with salmon, and I had eggs with warm delish biscuits, potatoes, and sausage. It really was the most delightful breakfast, 100% recommend, and the fabulous coffee alone is worth the trip!

Google
Good food and nice ambiance, but be prepared to wait. We had made a reservation for 11 am, but had to wait till 11:25 to be seated, 11:35 to place an order, and 12:10 to get our food. We hoped that the food would be worth the wait as the presentation and reviews we had seen online were stellar. But sadly, after waiting, the food arrived to our table at room temperature. I wouldn't blame it on the waitress since she was alone handling everything, but maybe it would be helpful to get a second waiter because looking around, the other tables were also waiting and commenting how slow everything was. There is free parking for one hour in the next door garage but given that service takes a long time, you will have to pay for parking. Otherwise, the ambiance is nice and the flavor of the food decent.

Google
The tastiest! The coffee drinks are on point, freshest healthy breakfast fare, adorable old house vibes, and friendliest staff. Very pleased.

Google
The cafe was small, so I definitely recommended putting in a reservation. However, the staff were kind, the food was delicious, and the overall quality and customer service was great.

Google
Yummy brunch and very friendly service! The cafe is well-lit and there is a patio for the warmer months too.

Yelp
Ordered breakfast one morning. Everything was still hot and fresh when it arrived. Stopped by for a cup of coffee on my way into work and it was equally delicious.

Yelp
This place is pretty on top of their breakfast game. We got avocado toast, beignets, coffee, and chicken sandwich they were all good! I would definitely come back again! They have parking, which you pay but they will give you a discount off of parking so it's "free" depending on your perspective
google avatar

Yelp
This is a nice spot for a bougie brunch! Interesting menu that allows you ton try new things. We adored the beignets, and our server was lovely. Will go back and try different things!

Yelp
Visiting friends in town and we went to the Oakhurst Café for brunch. Highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, we were seated right away. While there is both indoor and outdoor seating, the total dining area is small. They had friendly servers, excellent coffee and a wonderful menu!! I got the chicken and biscuits. The biscuits were grilled, warm, buttery and rich in flavor. Nice crispy chicken nuggets and refreshing side of fruit! Can't wait to go back. There is a parking deck next to the restaurant and if you pay for the $3/hr and show your receipt to the staff, they will take $3 of your total bill.

Yelp
I was visiting Charlottesville and my friend said Oakhurst Inn was on her list to try. She said they wouldn't take reservations. We came around 10:00 and there were lots of seating available. We decided to sit inside; they do offer outdoor seating as well...saw some people bring their doggos. So cute! Paid parking in the garage, no validation. Inside was quaint. Service average. We got the farm sandwich, chai latte, blueberry muffin, and frittata. My farm sandwich was alright, but the blueberry muffin was pretty good. Wouldn't be opposed to coming back, but if alone...would explore the other restaurants Charlottesville has to offer.

Yelp
Food was super yummy. It's located in what looks to be a redone home which I enjoyed the vibes of! I think it's a park of a hotel complex? Parking is taken off of your bill once you show that you paid. I also love how helpful my server was, I forgot her name :(

Yelp
Stayed at the Oakhurst Inn during a road trip. The cafe was right outside the parking garage we parked and has 2 electric car chargers. There was a great variety of brunch vibes that hit the spot. Lots of locals just having coffee and many university meetings over some good food. Lots of natural sunlight as well! I've been on a crispy Brussel sprout obsession since I've been here. Great spot for breakfast if you're in town!

Yelp
The oakhurst inn is somewhere I've walked by for two years, yet somehow never tried. I always thought it to be too fancy for a casual breakfast and coffee, but today I was proven wrong. I tried the frittata, toast, and Cuban espresso. While I don't think anyone should pay $3 for a slice of toasted bread, I almost changed my mind this morning. My sourdough slice was lightly toasted and buttered, and was absolutely delightful. I forgot to stir my cuban, so while the first half was strong and bitter, the second half was sweet and flavorful. The frittata was very large, and absolutely perfect. The eggs were light and fluffy, the vegetables were crisp, juicy, and packed a punch of flavor. Going back to the toast: I love sourdough bread. Over the pandemic lockdown, I received a sourdough starter from a work friend and began making my own loaves every couple of days. The experience was truly wonderful, and I have grown to appreciate the flavor and texture of a good sourdough loaf. The single slice I received with breakfast this morning brought me back two years to those early hours I spent feeding and taking care of my starter. When I took the first bite of my toast, the salty crunchiness combined with the soft, flavorful inside of the slice worked together to give me an absolutely amazing experience. I delighted in every single bite of my toast, and almost found myself ordering a second once I was done. Speaking of a second slice of toast, my slice was cut in half! A perfectly straight diagonal cut, that provided even more options of how to indulge in the delightful piece of bread. Truly a wonderful experience. Overall, the food and drink were very good, and the prices were much lower than I expected.

Yelp
The Oakhurst Inn espresso bar coffee and service is untouchable. It's a great location to grab a quick coffee or sit down and have a nice breakfast. Hands down -- I had a memorable experience while staying at the Inn for my birthday. It was easy to grab a coffee at the espresso bar and the cafe served an authentic American breakfast. The atmosphere was quiet and laid back. It has more of a quiet locale- university professionals and Inn guests tend to hang out there. It was not touristy at all. I was visiting with my dog and couldn't steer too far away from my room. This was an excellent choice before we headed out for the day. The coffee was smooth and bold. Service was quick and the staff was flexible when taking orders. They're very friendly and accommodating. Overall, the food was good and served fresh and made to order. I had breakfast at the Oakhurst Inn twice. The Traditional and the Avocado toast were both great choices. The Avocado toast was served with salmon and a poached egg. I asked to amend the order. They happily accommodated my request. I ordered scrambled eggs instead of the salmon and poached eggs. It tasted great. My experience was great.

Yelp
A little hard to find if you're not from the area. It's next to a parking garage and it's cute & quaint little place. I went early Monday morning and glad I did. I just got the traditional with the sausage. All good but that sausage was some of the best I have had. Service was friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to visit while in Charlottesville.
google avatar

Yelp
Very quaint place right off of Jefferson Park Ave. Loved my omelet. My 2 buddies seemed to really enjoy theirs too. I ordered a meal. They opted for a combination of sides (2 eggs, a meat choice and biscuits). I added biscuits as well. Service was very good as well. Only complaint is that there is absolutely no place to park unless you luck into parking on a side street. It took a few minutes but I found one. Buddy parked in a nearby parking garage. I highly recommend. My buddies are from Cville but had never been. Both said they were glad we found the spot.
google avatar

Allen T.

Yelp
Wow I am glad I came to this place for brunch! This is the cafe that is located around the inn and bed and breakfast. While the prices were a little higher than expected, the food was great.
google avatar

Mark N.

Yelp
Lovely location close to campus and a great atmosphere. Very strong service. But some misses on the food. The coffee is weak, especially with any cream or half and half in it. The local sausage was tasty, but don't dump it on the side salad since it wilts the leaves and quickly cools the sausage. The bacon was both overcooked and cold as if it was prepared to crumble in a salad. But really loved the Grand Marnier waffle with orange curd and Chantilly cream. The waffle was perfectly toasted on the outside and had a strong orange flavor. The cream was plenty of vanilla bean in it for contrast. Would come back for this dish for sure.

Yelp
The food here was good. This small restaurant is a perfect compliment to the Oakhurst Inn and our short stay. My husband was disappointed to receive a Diet Coke when a Mexican coke was ordered. Other than that service was good and our food was enjoyed back in our room.
google avatar

Jordan T.

Yelp
This is a really nice little spot with a great atmosphere and nice view. Lots of open windows to view the greenery outside. I got the frittata and home fries. The frittata had a large variety of vegetables and had a nice flavor. It was also very big. The caramel macchiato was also very good. It was smooth and sweet but not too sweet. The service was very friendly and fast. This is a great place to go in the area
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
We had a reservation, was a normal crowd. Staff was friendly and attentive but it took almost an hour to get our food. Chicken and biscuits were over fried .. weird that the biscuits were deep fried too. Underwhelming and not worth the wait. Surprising this place even requires reservations
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Great brunch spot! I got a caramel macchiato and the BLT. Super friendly staff and they have mimosas as well!
google avatar

Justin N.

Yelp
Came here with a friend for breakfast a while back. The ambiance is cute. The avocado toast was good! It had a nice presentation and balance of flavors. The breakfast burger was average. Probably would not order it again. The coffee was also average. I'm interested in coming back for brunch in the future because of the ambiance and other items on the menu.
google avatar

Beth K.

Yelp
Great spot for brunch!! The food was really fresh and delicious. Nothing was heavily processed or greasy. We both got the traditional- that's a standard breakfast essentially. It was excellent- particularly the locally sourced eggs. I got a side of fruit- the fruit was clearly fresh; it wasn't the standard side of watery cantelope you get at a lot of the places- it was fresh delicious berries. The chai latte was very good- lots of foam and yummy spice on top! The gluten free bread was tasty as well- it wasn't dry at all. They were accommodating with fast service. No wait for a table on a Saturday at 12 noon.

Yelp
The Oakhurst Inn Café & Espresso Bar is quaint! Customer service is good; an employee is kind and helps me understand a Vegan option (not too many Vegan and/or gluten free options). The Vegan South Range Burger is good; every bite is flavorful, juicy, and the burger stays together. The sauce on the salad tastes good with both the burger and salad (which tastes really good). The establishment has outdoor and indoor seating areas. The establishment takes different forms of payment.
google avatar

Kristine R.

Yelp
A crammed little place which was packed. When we arrived they announced that they don't take guests without reservations which was not noted anywhere. Disappointing. Unsure if the food would ever be worth it.

George D.

Yelp
Awesome food, service and ambience. I ate breakfast here several days and was never disappointed.
google avatar

Sara R.

Yelp
Brunch @oakhurstinncafe was amazing! I ordered the south range burger. The roasted garlic aioli + grass fed beef on this burger made it so tasty! I also got the mocha coffee. Service was quick here. Cute brunch spot.

Yelp
I was passing Charlottesville, and my friend recommended this place. So i visited for the first time with my family. It was very cute cafe with a beautiful outdoor seating. All the staffs were very nice, and food tasted very good! Parking is vey convenient too! If you park at the garage next to the cafe, it is $3 per hour, but the cafe will credit back! Good place for weekend brunch :)!

Yelp
I used to live on JPA during my time at UVA and stopped by this lovely place for coffe on my way to school often. No need to talk about their coffee - just super delicious. They also have baked goods that are to die for - my favs are the scones! However, the dish that I hold truly dear to my heart is the Power Bowl. It was honestly an eye opening experience when I tasted that dish lol hands down. The flavors just explode, and the combination of coconut, kimchi, avocado, curry yogurt, and beets are just so out of this world. I cannot thank Oakhurst enough for inventing this flavor combo. It is just so unique and creative like how. I literally advertise it for all of my friends. UNFORTUNATELY it is not on the weekend brunch menu (I cried inside when I found this out). Altho I tried their quiche on the weekend menu and it was also so amazingly delicious. Please bring the Power Bowl to the weekend brunch menu if you can because honestly it changed my life for the better. It is hard to get the dish now that I graduate and cannot visit during the week. I love this spot so so much tho.

Sue G.

Yelp
The food was delicious. French toast for my husband and I had eggs, sour bread toast and fruit. Yum! The staff is friendly and efficient. Clean, nice atmosphere!

Yelp
Some very tasty and affordable food! I don't believe they take reservations but five of us showed up around 12:30pm on a Sunday and we were seated right away. I ordered three different sides and a soft drink, my bill came out to about $23 Service was great and the bathroom was clean. They do automatically add tip to parties of five or more and they don't split checks. Would definitely come back. The avocado salad was mostly avocado, which is great imo; the bacon was bacon, nothing too special; the asparagus was delicious! Lots of lemon and Parmesan. Everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy their food as well.
google avatar

Cristina W.

Yelp
Cute spot to come in for breakfast/brunch! It's close quarters so try to make a reservation if you can. Limited parking spots (12 I believe) in the garage/lot to the left of the inn. Drinks - They were out of carrot ginger juice so I went for the classic bloody mary - extra spicy. It was excellent. There is also fresh OJ available as well for $4. Food - top choice! The menu rotates, but I got the avo toast which was perfection. The sourdough was thick cut and super tasty. The avo was cut in chunks and dressed in amazing light evoo and spices. The sprouts were superfresh and the burratta OMGAH - creamy and delicious. Other folks at my table got the tostones, the quail and coconut waffle... all meals were hearty in portion and reasonably priced (~$14)! A super cute spot to grab a top choice meal, indeed!

Yelp
Not too much to identify the Oakhurst Inn Cafe from the street - small sign in front - on a bend in the road - so easy to pass by. But, oh, once you taste what awaits you inside - you will know exactly where the Oakhurst Inn Cafe is! Likely need a reservation, especially with UVA heading back into post-Covid session. We were able to snag a table for two outside by sheer dint of timing. We were there on a Sunday - so what else? Brunch! My wife had the Quiche with herbed Chèvre. This was made with marinated mushrooms, sautéed asparagus and spring onions, not to mention the herbs and chèvre- light and delightful. I had the Farm Sandwich which is a garlic sausage with sunny side up egg (great to mop up with fluffy brioche bun) mustard, greens and pickled jalapeños are in symphony as accompanying the egg and meat. Bloody Mary is spicy but not over the top tonsil removing. Green beans with the olives are a nice twist. Will try the Grand Mariners waffle next time - sounds killer. New traditionalists might like the Avocado toast with smoked salmon. There is a full coffee bar for anything you can imagine. Beware the $.50 surcharge for Half and Half. Other than that, European feel with attentive service makes the Oakhurst Inn Cafe a real treat close to UVA campus.
google avatar

Valerie Y.

Yelp
Since my friends and I have never tried Oakhurst, we decided to wake up early on Monday and come... and it was completely worth it! We were seated immediately when we came, around 8 AM. Also, the staff is SUPER friendly! I knew immediately that I wanted to try the Huevos con Tostones - btw, tostones are fried plantains that come with the eggs. Our food came out extremely quickly and it was beautiful. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the salmon was plentiful, and the tostones were a delightful touch. The asparagus was a strange addition, but they did not distract from the dish at all. Every single bite was delicious and I was so happy. I also noticed that the eggs were cooked perfectly for all my friends' dishes - even though they came in different forms. I was so happy with the quality of the dishes and I can't wait to come back to try more.

Yelp
This cafe is located on Jefferson Park Avenue and it is a great place to have brunch when you're in town. The parking can be tricky, but you can park inside the garage next to the cafe. You would have to pay first ($3) for the first hour of parking, but can get parking credit back if you spend more than $10 at the cafe. I had their South Range burger and it was very filling. I was satisfied with their food portion and the interiors had this antique vibe. The staff were welcoming and they continuously checked up on my table to see if I needed anything else. I will come back for brunch when I'm back in the area. (Per the staff, the power bowl is only available on weekdays).
google avatar

Yelp
Great little hidden spot. Went on a Sunday around 11:30 and had a bit of a wait to be seated bc they were running a bit behind even though there were numerous open tables. Cute little coffee bar, cute nooks in a converted house with seating. Outdoor seating available as well. We were the only ones seated in the back room in the kitchen and every time a dish was ready, the cook would ring the bell...and keep ringing it. Know it was playful with the servers but it got annoying. The lavender oat milk latte was delish. The avocado toast was delish. Upgraded the fries to Parmesan and they were tasty. Would come back.
google avatar

Becca R.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast here. The coffee comes in large cups, even my latte. I had the smoked salmon avocado toast which was delicious. We had the sweetest waitress and would definitely recommend coming here.
google avatar

Loren M.

Yelp
Called ahead to ensure they are allowing indoor dining as it is becoming more chilly, and they are! Unfortunately when I requested a reservation they stated it was first come-first serve. There really isn't parking right near the cafe, but there is plenty of street parking near by. It's a cute old timey house turned cafe, very Charlottesville haha They have great lattes and have dairy alternatives including homemade walnut milk, oat milk, and coconut milk. Food was good going in... however me and my friend both got sick afterwards. I'm not sure why... I don't think we will be returning :/
google avatar

Krista R.

Yelp
I've heard so much about this place from locals that highly recommend. I was so excited to finally try this place. It's a cute little house near the UVA campus. I loved the old looking silverware they use. I loved the espresso bar in the front to grab and go. I enjoyed my ice coffee with vanilla and cream. I just wish I would have got another to go on my way out. The food was delicious. The GRAND MARNIER WAFFLE with Orange Curd, Grand Marnier Chantilly Cream, Maple Syrup was flavorful. The orange curd was such a nice touch to add to the waffle giving it a perfect acidic touch. Sadly the waffle it self looked kinda sad. It looked like the waffles from the Waffle House. I expected a thicker waffle that maybe was homemade. It looked like a frozen eggo waffle warmed up. The bacon was lukewarm would have been nice to be warmer or hot. The service was on point and everyone was so sweet. Can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu.

Vince A.

Yelp
Outstanding on all counts! Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Ambiance was amazing--we met friends we hadn't seen for months and had almost two hours of time catching up on the morning of a noon football game with no rushing us off! We were in from out of town, but I will recommend this fine establishment to everyone possible in the future!
google avatar

Alice J.

Yelp
Simple but delicious breakfast sandwich (scrambled egg and bacon). Good sunny ambiance. We came between 10:30 am and 11 am, a bit of an awkward time as their breakfast ends at 10:30 and lunch doesn't start until 11. All they had was this one breakfast sandwich (still made fresh). Also got a big mug of green tea (in a tea bag). Not bad overall. Both the menus for breakfast and lunch seem small.
google avatar

Julianna S.

Yelp
Service was a bit slow because they were understaffed. The coffee was delicious- highly recommend the latte. I had the avocado toast which lacked salt and they could get a better quality salmon. Poached egg was a little vinegary but overall tasty. Garlic frites DELICIOUS especially the aioli. Plan on spending $30-$50.
google avatar

Yelp
Very much enjoyed Sunday brunch out on the back patio. Excellent food and service. Our party of six left full and happy.

Lisa J.

Yelp
I balked at the idea of going to a fancy breakfast given that my usual habit is to eat breakfast quickly and get going with my day! But, I lost that battle, and sat down with my wife to first, a cup of Ethiopian dark roast coffee. It wasn't the usual dark roast that I drink daily, instead, it had delicious hints of both earthiness and berries. I was wowed by the flavor and perfect temperature. Then came the Farm Sandwich with a side salad. Wowed again! The brioche tasted freshly baked. The sausage was crispy and flavorful and by no means ordinary. The egg was a perfect soft center to soak the bread. And the combination of flavors was superb. Last but not least, the salad appeared to have no dressing over the very fresh lettuce, but it had a lovely citrus flavor and just the right amount of it. My wife loved her granola, fruit and yogurt drizzled with honey, AND her baked eggs, which were to die for. I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Came in on graduation day so it was pretty busy but luckily we got there pretty early. The place was adorable. I love the concept of the restaurant in a home ambient. Things were aesthetically pleasing; I would be proud of having a restaurant like this. Service was friendly and attentive. We were a party of three. I got eggs Benedict with the fried tomato, my boyfriend got some kind of breakfast bowl with seafood, and my mom ordered pancakes. Ultimately the food fell short. I wanted to love this place, the scene, the staff, and the menu was great. It just fell short; there was a lack of flavor in the food. I tried everyone's plate (but the pancakes) and it was missing seasoning, even salt. I probably will not return for brunch. For a cup of coffee and a pastry, sure.

Yelp
I finally found a great brunch spot in Cville. We went at 11AM on a Saturday and didn't have a problem getting a table for 2. They have a robust breakfast cocktail menu and I liked my Bloody Mary. The mimosas have fresh OJ which is a noticeable upgrade. Me and my friend split the breakfast sandwich, duck confit club sandwich, and the pumpkin waffles. We really enjoyed everything. The breakfast sandwich was simple but tasty. The pumpkin waffles had great flavors (chocolate sauce, candied pecans, and a little bit of whipped cream) and a good texture. The star was definitely the duck confit club sandwich. The bread was perfectly grilled and the goat cheese, duck confit, bacon, and cherries combination was crazy good. You have to try it! The only weak part was that the side salad wth the sandwich had some components that were past their prime. Service was good but they do require you to tip 20% if you're splitting the check. They have a few parking spots in the back of the apartment building garage next door.
google avatar

Jo L.

Yelp
A great place near Grounds for lunch! It's a little expensive but the ambiance is really homey and rustic. It was a nice place to experience but I don't know if I'd return unless maybe to try their brunch.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
What a gem this place is! My friend raved about the bacon gruyere scone with scallion butter, and I thought to myself what could be so special about a scone?! When I tried it, my life CHANGED! The scone was warm, lightly crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Definitely the best scone I have ever had, and I would totally eat here every morning if I could!
google avatar

Carolina C.

Yelp
The restaurant felt dirty and the food was very meh. I was unimpressed by my avocado toast. It looks delicious but the flavor wasn't there and I wished it was raw smoked salmon instead of cooked.
google avatar

Annette A.

Yelp
Had breakfast the day after a great football win against FSU! Game win + great breakfast = awesome weekend! Coffee was also really good. Service was on point.

Yi T.

Yelp
Really good avocado toast served in lots of avocado and roasted salmon Both the two are in good flavor, fresh and moderate taste Egg is also pretty well, exactly the extent I want for the egg to be cooked Quiche is not heavy and adequate cheese flavor, mushrooms taste really softy and so does the egg quiche it self
google avatar

Kevin O.

Yelp
It's OK. We've been a few times and it's always kind of meh. The staff are trying their best and I appreciate that. The food is consistently a 6-7 out of 10 but the value to price ratio just isn't there.

Yelp
Cute and cozy place to stop for brunch or afternoon coffee/pastries! The Oakhurst Cafe definitely fits the quaint feel of a local inn. I've been here for weekend brunch and definitely recommend their unique twist on shortcakes. The pineapple, ginger whipped cream, and rum-infused syrup complement one another really well without overpowering the other flavors. My husband got the eggs muerette and an avocado salad; the avocado salad was well balanced, but he wasn't too impressed with the eggs muerette and felt that it was an average breakfast dish. If you're looking for a quiet place to sit for coffee, this is lovely afternoon spot. The coffee is pretty good, but the best part was the bacon gruyere scone. You can ask to have it warmed up with scallion butter - deliciousness!
