Where to Stay in Dublin When You Visit in 2025

"This boutique four-star has an arty, quirky design with colorful art and wallpaper and rooms crafted by Irish artisans featuring custom furnishings; bathrooms have rainfall showers and limestone flooring, and in-room amenities include flatscreen TVs, desks, minibars, coffee/tea makers — don't miss the excellent on-site cocktail bar." - Matthew Kepnes

WORST HOTEL EVER! Do not come here. It is a dilapidated, smoked up and urine-smelling establishment. Maybe at one point (like the 60s) was a good hotel but now it reminds me of worse than a Juvenile Correction facility! The photos do not match the reality! I cancelled my reservation within 30 seconds of walking there. The area is not safe either, they had two patrol cars guarding construction workers at 11pm. Imagine the level of crime that happens there!

Honestly not as bad as the reviews say, do people not research the area they’re staying in before they book? The room we had was clean, the air conditioner didn’t work but if you keep your balcony door cracked before you fall asleep it stays a comfortable temperature. No issues with hot water like the other reviews say. It does smell faintly of cigarettes but this is not the Hilton, we are from Reno so every hotel we have smells far worse of cigarettes so it did not bother us at all. The “blood stain” on the ground like another review says, is clearly not a blood stain, blood stains are not hot pink. It looks like a child spilled juice or a red drink was spilled and it stained. There’s a security guard who watches the gates at night for parking. We have a new car and it wasn’t bothered at all. We stayed for the entire weekend (fri - sun) Front desk ladies were nice on check in and check out. If you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep and shower honestly can’t complain. They have really nice pillows in the rooms. The beds are a little stiff but I’ve paid $120 a night at a motel 6 for a worse bed.

Review: Oakland Airport Executive Hotel This hotel was a major letdown from the moment I arrived. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work, which made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating. Turndown service was practically nonexistent—you had to go all the way to the front desk just to ask for towels. The carpet throughout the room was in terrible condition, stained and worn, and the elevator was out of order, forcing guests to use the stairs regardless of which floor they were on. The lobby was dirty and unwelcoming, and the only ice machine in the entire building was located on the third floor, while my room was on the fifth. That meant multiple trips up and down just to get something as basic as ice. What’s worse is the blatant false advertising. The hotel’s website lists amenities like a restaurant, bar, and clean swimming pool, none of which were available or operational. It’s misleading and unfair to guests who book expecting even a minimal level of service. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case, even the low price didn’t justify the poor experience. The hotel should remove the photos and simply be honest: they don’t provide any of the services they claim to offer. What you get is a cheap rate and a long list of disappointments.

I like this hotel - never had a problem in the three times I’ve stayed here and I actually feel safe. Security in the parking lot makes me feel better. Most the parking is actually free. Very quiet and peaceful, I don’t hear anything during the day or night. Like at all. Nice beds and best sleep of my life tbh. Don’t understand the bad reviews, I had to leave a good one because I felt bad. All the people at the front desk are helpful despite the reviews, they just mind their business and don’t do too much. All this place needs is a few updates, maybe new elevators.

This is absolutely by far the worst hotel experience i have had in my life. Before i even checked in there was a lady about to jump off the hotel building and commit suicide .we tried to offer her a peanut butter and jelly sandwich she stared at it. Fast forward i get a room and the hallways smelled like draymond green after practice and the housekeeping services were not good.also i almost got bit by someone dog in the hallway and the the rooms were smelly..yea i had 2 different rooms.

This is by far the WORST PROPERTY I'VE SEEN. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to stay here. There is no shuttle, the pool is gone, the elevator is broke no restaurant or bar its been clearly shut down a long time there was graffiti and trash on the outside of the property and the lobby looks like something from the Bates motel from the 70s. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY IT WAS NONREFUNDABLE . I had to spend 3x the regular price to book another hotel same day check in . Very disappointed with Priceline this is not a 3 star property not even 1 star . I left immediately!

We encountered several issues during our stay that significantly impacted our experience. On the first day, we had a minor disagreement with the housekeeping staff after requesting a second towel for our two-guest room, which had only been provided with one face towel. The cleaning staff member on the 4th floor argued with one of the guests rather than accommodating the simple request. The following day, we placed all used towels outside the door for collection, but no fresh towels were returned. When we inquired with another housekeeper, she explained that towels were likely still being laundered and might be available around 1 PM. We went fishing for the day and returned in the evening expecting to shower and clean up, but still had no towels.I reported the issue to the front desk, and ultimately we chose to leave approximately 20 hours early simply so we could go home and bathe. Despite this, we were charged the full rate for a room that had no air conditioning, no phone to contact the front desk, and where only 1 out of 5 ice machines was operational.
