I recently checked into this hotel and my experience so far has been extremely disappointing. The spa bath in my room cannot be used as no plug was provided. When I raised this at reception, I was given another plug which also did not fit. This shows poor attention to detail and a lack of proper service.
The in-room phone is also out of order, making it inconvenient and frustrating to contact reception. On top of that, the Wi-Fi is not working, which is unacceptable for a hotel in this price range and adds further inconvenience to my stay.
Most importantly, I had requested a room with a view well in advance, two weeks prior to my stay, yet I was given a room facing a wall. This was a key part of my booking request, and it feels as though my preference was completely disregarded.
On 02/10/2025 at around 10:30 am, the white lady in charge at the reception was extremely rude and displayed a dismissive attitude when I asked if there was another room available for an upgrade. Her behavior was unprofessional, discourteous, and completely unacceptable for someone in a customer-facing role. Staff dealing with customers should know how to communicate with basic courtesy, including maintaining professionalism, showing respect, and at the very least offering a welcoming smile. The hostility and lack of respect I experienced were clearly discriminatory and gave the impression of racial bias, which is unacceptable in any professional setting.
For the price being charged, these issues are unacceptable. The service and facilities provided are well below the standard I expected and what the hotel advertises. I expect management to acknowledge these failings and provide an appropriate resolution.
Highly disappointed!!
