The accommodation is in a high rise block in a great location on North Terrace, ideal for visiting most sights. It has a nice lap pool on the 3rd floor. The room was lovely and very clean. We had a lounge with comfortable sofa, chairs and table and separate bedroom. We were on the eighth floor with great views over North Adelaide and Adelaide Oval. The only problem was the noise, in the day from the building site next door, and at night a loud thumping bass music. We asked on leaving whether this was from the Asian Festival that was on at the time on the river bank, but the receptionist told us it was probably from a club a street away. This did affect our sleep as it went on until 3 or 4 in the morning.

Expected a bit more, given previous experience with Oaks, but it was adequate for our needs. Excellent indoor pool, in-room spa bathtub and decent rates, but very small rooms, quite noisy, no food service on site, none of the advertised coffee pods... Close to everything though, and hassle-free.

The hotel provided excellent service and accommodation. I made a mistake with my booking and the reception staff and the manager on the day went out of their way to provide accommodation when there was a high demand for rooms. They did not try and take advantage of my mistake. I noticed the manager even showed great kindness to a family with 2 very young children who were involved in an incident out the front of the hotel, even though they were not guests. The room we were given was very comfortable with good amenities. the central location of the hotel was very convenient. I would thorughly recommend this hotel and will stay there again myself

Very comfortable and spacious accommodation with great view towards the Oval. I enjoyed the coffee shop too. Minor negative : the rather cool style of the (male) receptionist. Having travelled across the world I would have liked a more welcoming approach.

We loved our room on the 17th floor. Great views and a large comfortable apartment. Well situated close to the conference centre, cafes and restaurants. Lovely pool and spa and friendly staff.

Great locations . Staff friendly enough but could have been more helpful with clearing the luggage trolley of 2 bags as we had quite a bit of luggage but was told they can’t do anything . Right next to construction site and was woken up 0630 with banging , lift and workers . No room service at the apartments . Very Small kitchen with only 2 kitchen chairs at the table for 4 adults (2 bedroom unit) lounge only big enough for 3 adults .

If you enjoy the sounds of clanging scaffolding and power tools all day and the delightful views of blokes in hard hats and high vis right outside your balcony, then this is the place for you!|On the plus side the bed was comfy and the apartment was clean and tidy however none of that matters when all you want is a sleep in after a torrid day of wine trailing and Rugby.|There are a lot of hotels in Adelaide and the price we paid for this "getaway" feels like an absolute rip-off. I would have been slightly less annoyed if someone had mentioned the construction site outside our window during the booking process or even when we checked in at 10pm. Staff were dismissive at best. During one of the several trips to reception to get the key card reprogrammed we were informed that a quieter room might be available in a day or so....... too little, too late. Looking out the window i would estimate another few years of construction so i would avoid the Oaks Suites until then or ask for a room out of the work site.

If possible, try to get a room facing North Terrace and if you can get one on a high floor, you may also get some nice views. Rooms at the back, on floors up to and including level 5 look out onto a caged carpark and are dark. Although, silver lining is that they are quiet. Gym equipment a little tired. Apartment itself is roomy.
