My husband and I visited here for the first time, we just happened to be passing through the town on our roadtrip and noticed this bakery. There was a young woman about to lock up, she saw us coming and opened the door and the offered to serve us. She was very friendly and polite and very helpful, we would like to thank her for going above and beyond in service. We had a Vegemite scroll, bacon cheese bread and some donuts, all of which were amazing 10/10. Highly recommend this place, excellent service, excellent quality. Thank yiu for an amazing first experience.

Mixed feelings on this one. Disappointed mainly but it was not the worst. The girl that serviced us was friendly and a good start, but one of the other workers was not happy at all and seemed slightly bothered. The cheese and bacon pie for both of us was okay. Flaky on top but the base was soft and a bit cold. Not a lot of flavour or much going on but was okay. 5/10 Shepards pie was better, quite enjoyable and the potato was very tasty with a decent amount! The potato was the star - 7/10 But now to the worst of it. The custard tart… I have had a few hundred custard tarts in my time from all over Australia and this was bad in a lot of ways. It was soggy, it fell apart and was impossible to pick up, we had to eat in in small pieces that we had to scoop in our fingers. The custard was completely separate from the pastry and tasted thin and watery. I was reeeaally disappointed because as soon as I walked in and saw them I didn’t hesitate as they looked so freakin good. It was also a little smaller than I expected, but really that’s not so bad, just added to the shock factor of it disintegrating as you try to eat it. I feel I’m being generous with the 3/10. Lovely looking bakery thought and I am keen to try some other products, as their bread and other items did look good. We don’t regret visiting at all and recommend to others to give it a try still! Seems like a good place overall.

I dont need to be pampered as a random passer-by grabbing a pie lunch, but either the girl (only one front of house) was having a bad morning, or I reminded her of someone from kinder that destroyed her art project. Anyway I tried to be friendly and got iced. I glance at the back and smiled at the men prepping more dough, and this doesn't portray your local friendly baker, but more like an Amazon packing line. They just stared back blankly, and I almost felt guilty coming to buy lunch and making them do more work. Judging by the lack of response to their most recent reviews they dont really care. My pie was OK, but the experienced just made it taste a lot more bland. Chicken wings around the corner at Yo instead. They were winning !! Final rating 2 stars. Its not one, so I feel thats fair coz its not worth 3

I got a packet of Yoyos, a vanilla slice and a Lemon Meringue Tart. I don’t normally enjoy vanilla slices with the icing but this is the exception! The Yoyos were buttery, melt in your mouth and not overly sweet! The Lemon Meringue Tart is just delicious! The crust is crunchy and held up even after a day. Has a nice tang to it and the meringue was perfect! Marshmellowy and the perfect amount of sweetness. I will be dropping by every time I’m in the area for sure!

The bread on the chicken schnitzel rolls are constantly super stale because they don’t make them fresh every day (I have asked). I come in quite frequently so have given this place at least 3 chances. Lost a local customer.

Yelp
If you want to taste one of the best pies in Victoria, this is the place. For just a little over $1, you get one party pie. They put a decent amount of meat in them and the pastry is delicious and crusty! The lady who served me was extremely helpful and clearly had heaps of experience in serving customers. Their cakes also looked delicious. 10/10

Yelp
Good food at nominal prices. They have panini a, pies, coffee, mini pizzas and baked sweet goodies. The bakery is small but there is an outside bench area to sit and eat. Service is curt but fast.

Yelp
When you work in hospitality, and your job is to make coffee, it would help if 1) you know how to make coffee 2) that it shouldn't trouble you to mark which one has sugar in it with a texta 3) it's hospitality so you might be expected to be nice to customers. Absolutely the worst coffee I've ever had.
