Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel

Absolutely great rooms for a good price. Rooms are pretty decent size, I've stayed at $800 per night places and could barely move. For less than $200 at the oaks you could nearly play cricket inside here. Staff are amazing as always, very friendly and helpful 24/7. The hotel has great views from both sides and is in a perfect location. Can't really fault it.

By far the best accommodation on our trip around Australia. Huge apartment with every facility you could need. Brilliant view of Darwin from the balcony. Good location . TV excellent. Air con excellent. Housekeeping excellent . Breakfast satisfactory. Front desk staff could have been a little more helpful would be my only small criticism.

Great facilities, close to Mitchell street and everything else you need! The house keeping staff have great attention to detail replenishing things and didn’t miss one thing! I was in the 1bedroom apartment and has a kitchenette, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. If you use a packet of anything eg washing powder, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher powder, coffee, milk, the housekeeping staff have you covered! Couldn’t be any happier. Complimentary buffet breakfast was another bonus. The staff in the restaurant were also great and attentive. All staff are fantastic. Great views from my room and I wished I stayed here every other time I’ve been here on my work trips! I’ll definitely be back. You can pay for secure parking which is $15 a day or $75 per week I believe. It was convenient for me.

Pretty good rooms. Pretty clean and aircon works well. Bathroom suction actually works. Desk setup is pretty good with a decent chair. The restaurant downstairs is decent - I had the burger, it has mediocre patties though but overall a decent meal. Good view but windows aren’t that clean and insects can get in if you open it

Could not fault my experience here! Efficient check in, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly house keepers, great pool deck with comfortable couches, handy water dispenser in small but sufficient gym. Easy parking out front and accessible for ubers etc. Great location, felt very central. Had an awesome view off our balcony. Breakfast was a generous buffet for a very decent price and the dinner menu looked good aswell

I enjoyed staying at the oaks in Darwin was very central to everything I needed. The room was big enough for myself and my daughter. It had everything needed for our stay. The continental breakfast was a bonus and the food was nice.

Have stayed here many times and always enjoy it. Very central to city attractions, very clean, good restaurant downstairs. Great view from the upper floors. Easy walk to virtually all city bars, restaurants, waterfront, Mitchell and Cavenagh street.

We arrived at 1:50 PM for a 2 PM check-in and waited over 40 minutes for our room. Upon arrival, four cleaners were still cleaning, and the floor was wet and slippery. Despite paying extra for late checkout (11 AM), cleaners knocked at 10 AM and the phone rang at 10:28 AM but hung up when answered. Additionally, there was no mention of two bedroom apartment having stairs to the bedrooms on the website or at the counter. Not good for my senior mother who has knee problems. The swimming pool is also very small for the number of guests. I'm glad we didn't visit during peak season. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory and needs improvement.
