We had a wonderful stay here whilst attending a conference. The room had a lovely sea view and had everything we required. Very close to the main shops and restaurants. The service was amazing and the staff went out of their way to help out when needed. Highly recommend visiting

Stayed here for work for 5 nights, check in and out was easy and you can store your bag with the front desk team. ||Lots of amenities in the room itself- full kitchen, coffee machine which was handy as we had early starts and made own breakfast. Bathroom was huge- only fault was there was no body wash in the shower, just the one pump over the sink. |Bed was very comfortable, had a glass sliding door which |View from the wee balcony was fantastic, though didn’t get to see much of the view||Didn’t get much time to explore around, as was offsite all day. Hotel isn’t near trains going south, except the tram that goes into the city. ||Good workspace set up if you need to do work, would recommend staying if you’re here on holidays

We had the most wonderful stay at Oaks Glenelg. We were greeted so warmly by an absolutely lovely staff member, Kalindi, who went above & beyond to make our stay special. Our apartment was beautiful- so clean, comfortable & had the best view! My sister & I took our Mum to celebrate her birthday & it was so special that we have decided it will be our yearly tradition! Thank you for the wonderful service x

Pros: Lovely view of the ocean, though the beach scene is marred by some tractors parked right at the beach. They allow luggage storage after checkout, an option many travelers take up because checkout is at 10am (when asked for extended checkout, they yield to 11am max). Easy walk to bus stops, the town centre and the jetty. Apartment is spacious but furniture has seen better days. Kitchen is well-equipped though and the washing machine works well although you need to bring your own detergent. They provide shampoo, conditioner, hand-wash and bath gel. That’s it. Cons: They add 1.5% to your room charge if you pay by credit card. This type of business practice leaves a sour taste, although they will tell you it’s in the fine prints. There are other niggling things that irk. Like there’s only one dustbin for the entire one-bedroom apartment. Like there’s no tissue box. Like the toilet paper holder that keeps falling off. Like the glass partition that does not adequately prevent water from splashing out when you shower. Like the bathtub that does not have a stopper, so you can’t soak. Like the power points that are placed at inconvenient places. Like the dining room chair with a semi broken leg. All these things may sound trivial, but they all add up. Thing is, most of those things can be rectified easily if they put in some effort. Overall, I had an OK stay but will not be back.

These apartments are positioned in a great spot less than 5 minutes walk from the Glenelg tram terminus and shops. Our check in was prompt (unfortunately not early) and the room was well equipped with plenty of recharging ports which is always a bonus. The bedroom is enclosed within the apartment space, so more studio than one bedroom but was fine. Bed comfortable. Worth paying extra for the sunset view even though the tranquillity was disturbed by (the necessary) sand shifting work being done on the beach.

Apartment very well equipped with everything you need for self-catering. Felt very comfortable and luxurious, and mine had a lovely terrace overlooking the beach, too (a warning notice on the beach stated there were bees and snakes there, so I didn't try swimming!). Staff extremely professional, kind and helpful. I loved my stay here and hope to return one day.

Stayed a week ago. We were put into a room with a broken washing machine reported it but no one came near the room to be fixed up. They offered to do our washing but half of it came back damp. No plug to wash up dishes no bags to put washing into to send down to front desk the people on the front desk were helpful but we should have not been in this room in the first place. Offered us to move but the other rooms were okay but it felt like we were downgraded not upgraded. Nothing else was available I was told. The room didn’t seem to be serviced on a regular basis Beds weren’t made if they did come in. It was very overpriced for what you get. Rooms were tired and yes standing in a bath for a shower was dangerous getting in and out of it. The rooms seem to be very tired. On the upside the bed was comfortable and the staff and facilities were great location is fantastic

Exactly as advertised, good kitchen and full sized fridge. Unit a good size for a small family, but only a queen bed so a bed would need to be added for family use (which they say they will do). Good eating on site for breakfast and dinner and nice places to eat in close walk. Beach on your doorstep, very nice views for waterfront units and restaurant and bar. Apparently there is a tram to the city and there was always a taxi out front. Short drive from airport, but not close to CBD at all, although if you are from Sydney or Melbourne, you will find the commute to city short.
