Great accommodation!!! The rooms were very tidy, spacious and had so many amenities in them!!!! The furniture was so comfortable and in great condition!!! The staff went above and beyond to help and complete any request. The food was superb. The pools, my goodness so big and so great for all ages even a 2 year old. The pool bar was great and had a great selection!!! The function room was so big, spacious and the decor in it amazing!!! Will definitely be staying here again!!!!

We stayed at this resort for our elopement and had a truly wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to the reception team, especially Charlotte, who went above and beyond to help us find what we needed in the middle of the night the day before our wedding — her kindness meant so much during such a special (and slightly stressful!) moment. On the day of our wedding, we were also surprised with a beautiful gesture — a bottle of white wine sent to congratulate us. It was such a thoughtful touch and made our day even more memorable. Thank you for making our elopement stay so special.

Shoutout to Charlotte who helped us coordinate room changes with Alejandro who helped us change our beds into twins maybe twice due to air con leaks for the first room lol. AND the night shift receptionist lady who works on Tues night on the 11th to Wedneday with puffy hair that gifted me a super sweet n juicy red dragonfruit from the cool man who grew them in his backyard. She also helped me fill my bottle with ice 🥹 sooo kind oml. Sorry i forgot ur name but omg she was sooo kind love her Also thanks to the chefs and the thai lady who has a great smile workin in the mornings

We arrived Friday night reception was very welcoming. Have enjoyed our trip very much and will definitely be coming back. A special mention to the Sumday breakfast Chef. He eas very friendly and made us feel so welcomed.

The first thing I want to mention is the breakfast. It wasn’t anything fancy, but I could truly feel the chef’s sincerity in every dish. That morning, the chef had a tattoo on his left arm and a hunched back, and he kept checking the food and cooking with real dedication. I’m genuinely grateful for the delicious breakfast. The reception staff were also very friendly and explained everything clearly—it was a really pleasant experience. The swimming pool was spotless and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive impression. One downside was the cleanliness of the room. The bed cover looked yellowed and old, with visible stains in several spots. The carpet was also quite dirty. Interestingly, the room I stayed in was connected to the neighboring room by a door. Although it was locked, I could hear everything from the next room. Also, the room didn’t seem to be soundproof, so I heard a lot of noise throughout my stay.

We had a fabulous 5 night stay at The Oaks. Rooms were great, clean and furnishings were modern. Beds were a little soft for my liking but none the less comfortable. The restaurants within the resort were great and had plenty to choose from. Location was convenient - only a 5 minute drive to the main street of Port Douglas. The included buffet breakfast each morning was a great addition. The pool is also fantastic. Great for kids as it is not too deep. Overall, a great vibe and would highly recommend for families.

Very accommodating, and able to help with a last-minute booking. The pool was lovely, and the late-night receptionist was extremely professional. I believe her name was Charlotte, and I would definitely recommend her for a promotion. I would also suggest spending a little more for one of the nicer rooms, I will certainly do so next time

Our stay at The Oaks Hotel Port Douglas was absolutely incredible from start to finish! The resort was beautiful, clean, and relaxing — the perfect tropical escape. Everything from the check-in to the poolside vibes was seamless and stress-free. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, and every single staff member greeted us with a smile. It truly felt like home away from home, just with palm trees and sunshine! 🌴☀️ Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful — truly the best experience we’ve had.
