Rebecca and Simon were brilliant hosts. Safety measures in place which made us feel very safe during our stay. Room lovely. Very clean and comfy. Breakfasts amazing!!! Felt very valued as they delivered excellent customer experience to us showing an interest on how we spent our days and also giving recommendations to us. Fantastic accommodation - 5 minute walk from the town centre. The B&B is very clean and has taken all necessary steps to be covid-19 safe. The owners Simon and Rebecca are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. On top of all this the breakfast (and the range you can choose from) is outstanding. Definitely a home from home! A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This was by far the best B & B I have ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean, so tastefully decorated and the hosts Simon and Rebecca were by far the best hosts we have ever had. Their attention to detail was superb and nothing was too much trouble. We have already booked to return.

Stayed at the Oakthwaite last week and can't recommend it highly enough. Rebecca was so welcoming when we arrived including a very nice prosecco and slice of cake. Very clean and we'll managed, Rebecca and Simon were very helpful with advice too. Places to go in town etc. Simon had the maps available for walks and the knowledge of the surrounding areas. His map for Walla Crag was extremely helpful, and I have him to thank for the soaking we got on our little hike there ! 😀 Looking forward visiting again in the near future.

Very friendly owners.who welcomed us with homemade treats and a glass of bubbly which was lovely. Room was excellent my only downside was the bed was to firm for us but that is a personal preference. Fantastic breakfast I had the stacker which was very tasty and filling. Would not hesitate to recommend. We will be going back

Super friendly and welcoming hosts. Offer of a glass of Prosecco on arrival and cake in the room, lots of little extras and well thought out. Room was spotless. Very tasty breakfasts with quality ingredients. Even the offer of a flask to take with us walking for the day. Just lovely 👍😁

Rebecca and Simon are lovely hosts. The Oakthwaite was very Covid-19 secure and my wife and I felt very safe at all times. But a special mention about the breakfasts, one word, superb.
