Oakvale Wines is an absolute gem in the Hunter Valley! The staff - especially Aiden - were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, creating a relaxed and enjoyable tasting experience. The wines are exceptional—especially the Verdelho and Demi-Sec range. The picturesque setting adds to the charm, making it a perfect stop for wine lovers. Highly recommend adding Oakvale to your Hunter itinerary! Also worth adding that Elliotts cafe is located next door (fabulous food and coffee) so Oakvale Wines is a great cellar door stop before or after a great meal!

The most beautiful, clean and friendliest winery. Drove up here twice and the vibes are unmatched! We got a tour of their wine making process and had a yummy wine tasting. The people here are so lovely and knowledgeable, and you might even spot a few roos chilling about.

Oakvale was an amazing winery! Such a beautiful space with equally as lovely wines. We did a wine tasting with Mike who had so many interesting things to say about the wines. Would recommend!

Oakvale Wines is the most beautiful winery we’ve visited so far! Though this wasn’t a tasting visit, we stopped by to purchase wines based on our previous experience—and we were reminded why we love this place so much. The winery’s charm is unmatched, with a lovely café, gorgeous gardens, and a fascinating cellar filled with wine barrels. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and we even had the chance to taste a few of their exceptional wines. We loved everything about the visit and couldn’t leave without buying two of their best bottles. Highly recommend visiting this gem!

Fantastic winery and an incredible cellar door experience! We sat outside and despite some relatively unseasonal hunter valley weather the staff offered us blankets and the estate was absolutely stunning- especially when we collected the last of the sun as it set over the vineyard. Gorgeous! Vanessa took us through a tasting and she was great, super knowledgeable about all the wines on offer and her service was extremely friendly and without fault. We walked away with some great wines to take home with us and if back in the neighbourhood we would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We had such a gorgeous time here, the tasting was full of amazing wines, they had such variety. The grounds are also equally as beautiful. Would really recommend a visit here if you are in the Hunter.

Loved the wines here. Also loved the price of the tasting at the cellar door. From semillion to Shiraz, we particularly liked the Oakvale wines. It was nice to sit outside and be served. Twas a bit commercial with groups coming in. They turned down the loud music which made for a more pleasant serene tasting.

Great wines, very friendly and knowledgeable staff and beautiful property. What more do you need to know?? There is an small tasting fee but they donate it to the local meals-on-wheels program which makes it seem worthwhile.
