It's all good so long as you aren't bothered by trains & traffic rolling past in the middle of the night. Facilities good except for the silly key pad which kept locking you out if you got the pin wrong. Not great if you badly need the loo. Garden walk is great into town good exercise after sitting all day in a camper.

Scenic, Convenient, and Comfortable!||||The location is amazing—right next to the railway line and just a short walk to the main centre and our booked attraction. Facilities were spotless, and the overall vibe was welcoming. Highly recommend for both convenience and charm.

If you want to go into town centre you will need to drive or ride the push bike i guess . Park facilities are basic . Kitchen is small but most items worked . Toilets and showers are basic just meeting the park franchise requirements. If your heading there during a peak season , you may want to check it out before staying . Easy walking around the park and down the street etc .

Nice holiday park with plenty to do for kids. Staff was friendly, toilets and kitchen was nice and clean. They don't give remote for the heater so u can change the temperature evn though it was really cold but luckily staff helped us and gave us another heater to make our stay comfortable. There were codes for toilet and main kitchn too, which was bit weird I guess. Overall, it's a nice holiday park with gud facilities and friendly staff.

Top 10 motel style room, everything you need with communal kitchen to cover full cooking needs. Nicely refurbished bathrooms - nicest I've seen at a Top 10. Excellent value for money. Kids always love the bouncy pillow and play options. ||||The mini golf is a great offer - it's a hard course though 😉

After a long trip in South island visiting most of the top 10 holiday parks, this was our last and the worst top 10 holiday park we visited where in we checked in at around 7.30 pm and it was freezing cold in Oamaru. To our surprise the kitchen had no utensils, no dishwash liquid ,no clothes to wipe and no rubbish bins provided in the kitchen where we had to go out in the cold for disposing anything which was different from other holiday parks. Moreover, the heat pump in the shared kitchen was on while we got into the kitchen and started cooking around 08.30 pm, but out of nowhere a guy just gets in switches off the heat pump and leaves. We were so annoyed at this because he didn't even let us know that he was gonna switch it off and its a basic courtesy to let us know especially we had our infant with us in the kitchen too. When we approached the reception to request it to be turned on for a while, the staff was so rude that he just replied that he should be called only for medical emergencies. We just continued without wasting much time and then the next morning the same thing happens when we were preparing breakfast at 9am where a lady staff comes and switches it off and when asked she says it's left on only from 6am to 9am which is so unfair. Anyways this place is not infant friendly and cannot be ranked superior in the Top 10 holiday parks. I happened to see a review where the holiday park host replied that there were no utensils because they were taken away but I could see a CCTV camera installed there which would help.

Loved loved loved everything about my stay here and the town. The holiday park was by far the best I've stayed at in my 3 week holiday in NZ. It was SOOOOOO clean and very suitable for my budget. I arrived late and was greeted with kindness and the lovely lady even told me to take a quick run down to the harbour to see the blue penguins 💙🐧which unfortunately I didn't see any of 😞 Highly recommend this place to stay 😃 unfortunately I didn't get any photos
