O&B Athens Boutique Hotel

This was a two night stay that was absolutely fantastic! We booked them on Booking for com after lots of shopping and review reading. We got there at 8am after our cruise for an extra couple of nights to see the sights of Athens. They held our luggage and gave us a thorough explanation of surroundings with tips on dining, shopping, sight seeing and any other questions we had. Our room was very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the AC didn't work when we checked in initially but they had it fixed but the time we were done site seeing for the day. We didn't need to change rooms or anything. The rooms were cleaned regularly and serviced without disturbing our stuff. We were also offered a free snack and drink in our room alone with two bottles of cold water in the fridge that we're regularly restocked as well. Everyone was welcoming, kind and helpful. Breakfast was also lovely- lots of options available depending on your preferences. The coffee was especially good. I also want to address the neighborhood. There were a couple of bad reviews on here that mentioned the noise. We found there to be no noise and very quiet. We slept very well considering Athens is a late night city and we were in bed by 10pm every night. A couple of bad reviews mentioned the rough part of town? It was a vintage district so many people are out selling their antique or used wares which is common in most every city in the world. It was actually really cool and we always felt very safe. We even had a view of one of the monuments of the Acropolis from our room! It is actually a couple streets down from Little Kook so we were grateful to avoid all that foot traffic, noise and bright lights. We got none of it. If you don't know what Little Kook is, look it up. It's bananas! So whether your passing through or here to site see, this hotel was spectacular! Highly recommend 10/10

A Wonderful Stay in Athens – 10/10! After a long journey to Athens, my husband Jacob and I were warmly welcomed at O & B by Dimitri and Giannis. From the moment we arrived, their kindness and hospitality stood out. Our room was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean, located on the top floor with stunning views of the Temple of Zeus and even a glimpse of the gorgeous island beyond. The bathroom was just as lovely, with a great shower and strong water pressure. My only minor complaint was having to do my hair in the bedroom, but the large mirror made that an easy fix. The real highlight of our stay was the incredible afternoon staff member, Giannis. He went above and beyond for us. Even with the elevator temporarily out of service, he was always quick to help with anything we needed. His suggestions for safe and delicious local dining and nightlife were spot-on, and his passion for what he does truly shines through. Breakfast at the hotel was also fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start each day. We highly recommend O & B Athens Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Athens. Our stay here was such an amazing experience. The staff were so kind and helpful. From the beginning they made us feel welcome and important. The room was very comfortable and relaxing. We chose the balcony room to watch the full moon over the Acropolis. It was perfect. The location was perfect for visiting all the sights and restaurants. Great hotel! Breakfast had a lot of options for vegetarians, the room had working AC and it is soundproofed so you can't hear outside traffic, we had a view of next door buildings and the National Observatory of Athens. It is a good walk distance to the Acropolis and shops and we felt safe in this area. They have luggage storage and allowed us to get food delivered here and staff were kind!

Very convenient location, we walked everywhere we wanted to go from this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint I have is the rooms are NOT sound proof despite being advertised as such. You will hear the night clubs raving until 5:30. So we barely got any sleep.

We stayed for 2 nights before island hopping. We had an excellent time, the staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was wonderful, and checking in & out was a breeze. The hotel was within walking distance from most major historical sites and shopping hubs. I would highly recommend for your stay in Athens.

The hotel is in a great location, just a few metres from the agora and a pleasant stroll to the main Acropolis gate. It’s also only 200 metres from Thissio station and 500 from Monstariki station. The Psirri area is fun and not packed like the Plaka, with heaps of bars, cafe and restaurants on the doorstep. Room was very comfortable, breakfast excellent, as was the staff. We particularly thank Alexandra, she was incredibly helpful especially when we wanted to organise a local SIM. On that subject a tip: give Cosmote a miss, they were just hopeless. Alexandra recommended Nova at Syntagma who were great, their Free2Go plan is ideal. Thanks to all at OandB.

The O&B hotel staff went above and beyond to help me! I was personally not a guest myself, but my sister was, and now I want to be! I had requested special assistance via email for my sister and they didn't hesitate to assist, they were so helpful and kind. For example, they were willing to reach out to different shops/services in the area on my behalf. In the end, we made something work and I couldn't have done it without their help. I just had a terribly horrendous customer service experience with Elea Resort hotel, so I just want to say thank you so much to Vangelis and the team at O&B Boutique Hotel, for your eye-opening hospitality and efforts. It truly means a lot and your dedication doesn't go unnoticed. This is what great customer service and kind humans look like!
