I recently traveled to Fiji and had a wonderful experience at a lovely hotel Oarsman’s bay lodge. I truly enjoyed the beautiful beach, delicious food, and the attentive service from the staff. The beds were incredibly cozy and super comfortable and the beach was absolutely breathtaking. Great hiking as well. I highly encourage you to take a stroll to the far end of the beach after the Blue Lagoon – it’s simply spectacular. The hotel staff also offers trips to some of the best snorkeling locations. I wholeheartedly recommend this place as a warm and welcoming family-style getaway for everyone.

We stayed at this beautiful place for eight days in June. Positives The staff are wonderful and look after you with great care. Generous sharing of Fijian culture including performances and visits to villages. Simple, elegant, spacious bure accommodation serviced daily. Absolutely pristine environment in and out of the water. Great snorkelling straight off the beach out front. Delicious fresh food including a great Lovo feast on Friday evenings. Opportunities for lots of excursions and activities both free and paid. Negative Unbelievably there was one negative. Had I known that coffee would consist of sachets of instant powder I would have brought my own good ground coffee and coffee plunger / French press. One real lowlight in an otherwise trip of great highlights.

The staff are always welcoming. We stayed in a beach view bure for four nights. They are new and quite spacious with everything you need.|Snorkelling off the beach near the boat channel is great. In front of Oarsman there are only a few types of coral, but there are literally thousands of small fish. On the Blue Lagoon side of the boat channel there are many different types of coral and large fish. We also enjoyed a snorkelling trip to another reef one afternoon.|Breakfast is a buffet with continental or cooked breakfast and local delicacies. Lunch and dinner have a variety of delicious meals to choose from. Dietary requirements are well catered for. |You can read your book or relax in a chair under your verandah, in a hammock or at the bar.|Good sized bath and beach towels are provided.

This truly is a relaxing laid-back hotel if you're looking for a piece of paradise to stay. Though you don't get a lot of variety, the food is very very tasty. We booked a beachfront studio and were just some feet away from the beach and the incredible turquoise waters. The staff is really welcoming and always ready to help. The snorkeling just by the reefs in front of the hotel is the best I've ever done. There are also some charged trips to get to know the village and other snorkeling spots where we got to see reef sharks.

After spending over two weeks in Fiji, Oarsman's Bay Lodge set a high standard for our first visit to the country. ||The beachfront cabin was spacious and comfortable and well thought out for our needs. Plenty of places to hang out bathers, towels and snorkel gear after a morning in the lagoon with a conveniently located outdoor shower just off the porch.||The kitchen serves up a great menu, with a variety of meals throughout the week with Fijian influence. We looked forward to our changing daily menu. ||The staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming during our stay.||Snorkeling here is excellent and immediately accessible from the beach. Multiple reefs around the neighbouring islands are available for site seeing via trips offered. Along with plenty of organised activities available daily, cave visits, fishing, village tours ECT. ||Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was hard to leave as we were so content in the environment curated by the staff. It set the bench mark for our accommodation throughout the rest of the trip. ||**Hot tip for first time new arrivals, your table no. in the dining hall is your room no. (Sorry room 17, we didn't know to start with)

Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights in mid-June this year. We were staying in one of the beachfront apartments and the views were incredible. ||The staff were lovely and friendly, and we formed some deep connections to those of them that we saw and spoke to daily. They were always looking to help improve our stay and went as far as to offer changing the lunch menu for us when we were under the weather. ||The activities provide were fun and adventurous. We were unlucky not to have a great sunset for the island trip, but still had some good fun exploring the island to ourselves. The cave trip was amazing, and Josh was the perfect guide, telling us about all the ties to Fijian folklore and culture. The village visit was also a great experience, and again Zak went above and beyond as the guide. He explained in detail the ways and traditions of his people, and made sure we all came away feeling a strong connection to the village and its people. ||The bay itself is one of the most breathtaking I’ve ever seen, and the reef snorkelling is the perfect way to discover it. ||The food provided by the Lodge was the best we have had in Fiji. There could be a bit more choice and variety in the menu, but what was provided was cooked to perfection and tasted great. ||All in all, I could not recommend the Lodge more. It is the perfect place to come to relax, and there is always a bit of adventure if that’s more your style. I would suggest that it’s a great place to come as a couple, but anybody could enjoy it here. ||One final special mention to all of the staff, especially Josh and Zak. You all made our holiday and ensured that it was a very emotional goodbye to the Lodge. Vinaka vaka levu and sota tale. ||Jamie & Amber - England

Our vacation to Fiji was truly another trip of a lifetime. After a 13-hour flight, we landed in Nadi, Fiji, and took a van to the harbor. From there, we embarked on a 4.5-hour catamaran ride across the choppy Pacific Ocean, eventually arriving at the stunning Nacula Island in the Yasawa Group. Our destination was Oarsman's Bay Lodge Resort, a beautifully secluded, well-maintained, all-inclusive haven where we stayed for six unforgettable nights.||The breathtaking scenery exceeded our expectations—emerald waters, clear blue skies, and the warm welcome of our gracious Fijian hosts. The food was delicious, adding to the rich cultural experience. One of the highlights was hiking up the mountain to witness a mesmerizing sunrise, offering panoramic views of the entire island.||We thoroughly enjoyed the cultural performances presented by the resort staff, especially the captivating tunes and heartfelt songs performed by Josh. Josh was involved in many activities and stood out for his incredible patience and caring nature. ||Reflecting on our time at Oarsman's Bay Lodge Resort, words cannot fully capture how amazing our experiences were. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our stay so indelible and special.

We recently spent four night here for our honeymoon in May 2025. We had a lovely beachfront bure, which was at the far end of the resort, this was quiet and tucked away, with a separate nearby bar, which was a lovely touch. We treated ourselves to the private island trip, which was well worth it for our honeymoon. For the price, we had a bottle of fizz and a very generous picnic, plus a private island to ourselves for 6 hours with hammocks and deck chairs, and lots of great spots for snorkelling. Food was really good, lunch especially! We enjoyed the cave trip, and the reef hopping trips. We also used their stand up paddle boards which were included in the price. The location is beautiful, on the blue lagoon! Would recommend!
