Oasis 21

Stunning structure. We figured it out just on our last day that you can walk up on to this stunning roof top terrace. Beautiful at night with the lighting and illuminated water flow. Oasis 21 is located right next to Mirai Tower, with convenient access by both bus and train. There are several nice photo spots, including one with the Nagoya city sign. Downstairs, you’ll find various shops — including gachapon (capsule toy) machines, Harry Potter merchandise, and many others. You can take the elevator up to the rooftop for a great view overlooking Mirai Tower. It’s a beautiful spot to visit.

I love this bus station. The design of the rooftop pool is amazing especially at night with a view of the tower. There are so many amazing shops, cafes, and restaurants on the lower level with so much to offer while you're waiting for a bus or a train. One night we came and there was a musician playing flute music that was amplified within the space for a lovely atmosphere. This was my first time in Nagoya and I would come again just to spend time here.

We stopped by for dinner during our overnight layover in Nagoya. One of the top attractions here was this plaza. It was pretty at night and felt very safe (as in the rest of Japan). Most stores and a lot of the restaurants were closed by 9 p.m.

You can climb to the top and get a nice view of the MIRAI Tower at night. A lot of shops below and connects to the surrounding buildings and transportation

The roof view is fun at night all lit up but you best not be nervous about standing on transparent flooring at heights.

Its a very nice attraction. The Sky Walk is stunning and worth the visit. The surrounding shopping is first rate with everything from international restaurants to fashion. From Mc Donald's to Louie Vitton. This place has everything you will need for a casual weekend stroll. I will come back!

famous tourist spot in Nagoya, there telecomunication tower and roof top pool. in the evening will be good time to see surrounding area, the light, the pool and have the breeze. the pool is the top of the doom. the the water is flowing. there are many resto and shop below the doom. you can take the elevator or stair to go up to rooftop.

A good visit if you are already at Sakae neighbourhood or visiting the Mirai Tower just a stone's throw away. I gave it 4 stars cos of its interesting structure, 360 degree view and it's FREE! I sat for while just taking in the autumn air and watch the sun set. Quite amazing since it's really like an oasis in the middle of the city and somehow away from the bustle of a bus terminal and an exhibition going below.

Nice mall with many shops and restaurants to choose from. The design of the roof is interesting. It is located near the tv tower, so it is convenient to access for shopping and dining. There is also a subway station right under the shopping center.

Very pretty at night! From what I remember there was a Studio gibli shop Shonen Jump shop McDonald's Starbucks A Cafe Kaiten sushi ( conveyor belt sushi) lowrys and farm But basically the place has a rooftop area with a nice view of Nagoya tv tower. And in the bottom floor under the covering there are shops like the ones I listed. I went shopping whit my friends here and it was a pretty fast and fun experience. We didn't explore too much though... It's also connected to a train/buss stations I believe . It also might be connected to more stores / like underground mall ?

Oasis 21 is a tourist destination, and a great place to sit and relax, if weather permits. It is basically a large spaceship-looking glass platform on top of a shopping mall. The center of the glass platform has flowing water and plays mall music. The platform below has a ramp-like garden that tilts down into an outdoor bus station. Difficult to describe, you really have to see it to believe it. You can get a tall view of the TV tower from the Oasis 21 water platform. The best time to visit is as night when it is illuminated in blue. Free (no-cost) to visit and on the east side of Sakae. Not as large as I was led to believe, but still worth a free visit.

At first I had just thought Oasis 21 was that UFO-looking structure that looks cool from Nagoya TV Tower. However, after actually going to Oasis 21, it is much much more. On the lower level, there is a space for a stage where many events take place, including a concert and show for Nagoya Matsuri when I was last there. There are also shops and restaurants, my favorite of which are the Ghibli store and Shonen Jump shop. The mid-level includes a bus stop though haven't really looked in to those... The top floor has the really cool roof that gives off an interesting effect at night time as the water both reflects the light and gives a wavy effect to what goes on below. It is also pretty trippy when the roof changes color while walking around it. From the top of Oasis 21, you can see a good amount of Nagoya, as well as get some nice shots with Nagoya TV Tower in the background. I am sure I will be back there.

Beautiful literal oasis in the middle of downtown, not too far from the center of Sakae. It's easily accessible via the underground areas where subway exits are but also accessible by foot. The bottom floor had coin lockers, food, shopping and sitting area. The open space will also often have different activities depending on the season. It also offers an entrance into the Annex, another underground shopping tunnel that leads you to Tokyu Hands. The grassy area is also a comfortable, clean area where you can rest or sit and enjoy snacks. The top is where the goods are! You get a scenic view of the water landmark, Nagoya tower and sites of the big billboards of Sakae. Definitely worth visiting, even for a short while, to snap a few photos of this urban park.

Beautiful place. Beautiful design. Night view is stunning. Great view of the city and Nagoya's TV Tower. Open daily until 10pm. Some nice not too pricey restaurants in the lower level mixed among some boutiques. Sakae bus terminal next door with connecting entrances underground to the terminal and the underground street malls that connect Sakae station and Hisaya Odori station.

Oasis21 is really great facility. the motto is 'be kind to the earth' besause.... Making the utmost use of top light to bring natural light to the underground space. Localized ventilation system installed. Artificial ground greenery eases the heat island phenomenon. Huge water-flowing roof reduces heat radiation to underground. Rainwater and well water are used. Ice thermal storage system introduced and nighttime power is used. great. and there is attractive statue. them them is globe,space. they have water space ship. they have green gland. they have statue of dinosaur sounds great. kids should have fun definitely. its about 5 minutes from sakae station. when you come to sakae for shopping. take a look it!
