I recently had the pleasure of staying at Oasis at Gold Spike in Las Vegas, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff Philip was incredibly welcoming and offered me a complimentary upgrade, which was a wonderful surprise. The room I stayed in on the third floor was simply amazing. It was spacious with a very big bathroom and a separate dressing room, providing all the comforts one could ask for. The amenities were top-notch, with complimentary water, tea, and coffee to welcome me. The view from my room was great, adding to the overall enjoyment of my stay. One of the highlights was the fun spin board available, where you can win coupons or even more upgrades, adding a playful touch to the experience. The hotel also features a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the Vegas sun. Overall, Oasis at Gold Spike exceeded my expectations with its fantastic service, luxurious accommodations, and thoughtful extras. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Las Vegas!

Lira and the rest of the staff provided excellent service! Rooms are clean and conveniently located near 7 Eleven if you need something right away. Security staff is exceptional as well on the premises. I loved the pool and the fitness center. They do have free weights. The front desk area is pleasant and you feel welcomed. At night entrance doors are locked for added Security. Just be weary when booking a room close to the bar/club they definitely party on the weekends. Overall I'm satisfied thank you Gold Spike!

Room is good and clean. I love the towel racks/hangers in room. Early check in is available for a fee. They can hold your luggage before check in. Reasonable price for the rooms. Guests must be 21 or older. Pool is clean and not filled with people. I was not here on a weekend.

My stay at Oasis at Gold Spike was truly memorable. The hotel combines modern amenities with a touch of vintage charm, creating a unique and comfortable atmosphere. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight of my experience was the exceptional service provided by Philip. He greeted me warmly upon arrival and ensured that every aspect of my stay was perfect. His attentiveness and helpfulness made a significant difference and exemplified the hotel's commitment to excellent customer service.

We arrived on a Sunday and checked in per usual and after traveling for 5 Days I was to tired to do anything other than bathe and rest. My second day there I was dying to get in the pool and then go to the gym. I was really enjoying my stay the front desk staff were excellent but my reasoning for rating 1 star is because while I relaxing in the pool, I was met with Las Vegas police because security profiled me like a bum off the street without any questions of her own if she has suspicious things on her mind. For future reference Ask 1st then follow procedures.

Not Ideal for a Relaxing Stay, Better for Party-Goers My husband and I stayed in Room 517 at the Gold Spike Tower. While the front desk staff was nice, they were inconsistent with fulfilling our requests. The room itself was comfortable but lacked a full-body mirror and adequate dressers. Noise from the club below was a major issue, making it unsuitable for those seeking a peaceful stay, although earplugs are provided. Additionally, the air conditioning was loud, further disturbing our sleep. Bathroom problems included a poorly flushing toilet, discolored paint when showering, and a damaged door. Despite maintenance efforts, these issues persisted. Additionally, housekeeping services, available only upon request, were not fulfilled during our stay. It's important to note that if you stay in the tower between Thursday and the weekend, you'll be escorted and carded at the door due to the club. You have to be cleared by security before going to the bar. Also, parking is public and very limited, so be prepared for the possibility of not finding parking on busy nights. Overall, this room is more suited for party-goers rather than those looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

Google
The Oasis is conveniently located and well managed! The pool is our favorite part. It's also nice that it's a 21+ hotel, so you don't have to worry about noisy kids. The rooms are clean and the security keeps us feeling safe.

Stayed here for a week. Absolutely loved the place upon arriving Dara was so kind and checked us in. All staff is very kind and helpful. The pool is amazing, the complimentary coffee is definitely an added bonus. The room was clean and housekeeping did a great job and addressing our needs when needed. The texting service of letting us know what was going on or if we needed anything was super convenient as well. The pricing was very upfront no hidden fees, one of the best we have stayed at. Definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
I like to call this place, Las Vegas' hidden gem and don't want to put this out there because I don't want others to come ! This place is really amazing. The location can't be beat. Steps away from the Fremont experience makes the Oasis Experience much better. The rooms are a proper size with TV , AC/Heat. Modern lower stools replace chairs which makes it easier. Front desk staff has always been helpful and pleasant. N'ér a bad experience with them. Really bummed the pool was closed when we came and didn't see that when I booked ( booking dot com) but when it's open, it's a great area to chill and or have drinks and enjoy the Sun. I've been staying at the Oasis since 2017 and will keep staying here as long as rates don't get crazy. Parking can be sketch as the parking lot is available to anyone so if you plan on driving to Vegas, keep that in mind. Additional parking is across the way, but as mentioned, it's accessible to anyone. I really do enjoy staying at the Oasis. I'm not a paid customer, just a guy that really enjoys this place.

Yelp
this hotel is very conveniently located near fremont street, which is a huge plus for people who want to party!! we loved that it was within walking distance as we went there multiple times during our vacation. the staff is also very friendly and helpful! however, immediately entering our floor of the hotel, the 4th floor, there was an INTENSE smell of cigarettes dispite it being a non-smoking floor. entering our hotel room it smelled intensely of smoke, and we could not open the window to air out the smell. the bathroom was also moldy and the ceiling was orange, im assuming from people smoking in there. our trip is done and our sinuses are so messed up from sleeping in the smell of cigarettes, and our clothes reek and have been through several washes, and the smell is still not out of them. the common area downstairs is super cute, there are pool tables, there was a dj one night, and there are plenty of games to play!! the pool also looked amazing. overall, for the price this hotel is good, and i would have given 5 stars if not for the cigarette smell. i would also like to add that they let you spin a wheel in the lobby for a discount etc. in exchange for a 5 star review

Yelp
Would not recommend this stay. I'm giving 2 stars as the staff was nice. The pictures were not at all what I experienced in my room. I am honestly confused how there are so many positive reviews. First - the hotel tower is directly above a club. No hotel lobby/front desk as you would expect. There is another building with a hotel lobby across a parking lot you check in at but that's the building you are staying in. Am I expected to walk through a club and across a parking in my swim suit to get to the pool? The room - things looked ok at first glance, but after further inspection the floor had clearly not been cleaned, the bathroom reeked like smoke and did not look like the bathroom photos from the ad. There were also cockroaches in the bathroom! When I told the front desk about the cockroaches they did not seem surprised or phased at all. The walls are paper thin and I could hear all conversations of the guests in the room next to me. I got in late so I stayed the first night, but I checked out early and got a new hotel for the next night.

Yelp
Great little boutique hotel. Super easy check in & great service from Philip. We loved the pool. Walking distance from Freemont Street. Right in the middle of everything. Loved our stay and will definitely return.

Jeff L.

Yelp
To explain my experience I have to tell it chronologically. We were coming to Vegas for a concert and most places were sold out. We selected Oasis because it looked like a nice boutique hotel near downtown Freemont street and from the pix we saw it looked nice. When we got there, we checked in at the place we thought we were staying - a smaller boutique looking hotel with a fabulous pool as you walk in heading to the front desk (which looks newly renovated & upscale) The girl at the desk was friendly but the goodness of the experience ended there. She didn't explain it very good so it took a minute to figure out that they do NOT have covered parking. They give you a hanging tag to park in either of 2 public lots in a very seedy area of downtown. Next, to get to our room she pointed us toward the building at the corner of the property which is "The Gold Spike", a much older hotel in not as great shape as we were expecting - but the adventure was just gearing up... We went into the building and we're looking for the front desk but had a hard time finding it because the entire floor is a nightclub. (BTW - they don't even have a "front desk" in the Gold Spike building) Later that night the club was playing music so loud that the entire building shook it felt like. And during club hours, they made us wait at the elevator for a security guard to escort us through the club to the front door and did the same when we came back. (It was later explained that they have had trouble with guests trying to bring knives & guns into the club from the hotel) The building is 6 floors and they had only one elevator which took forever to arrive whatever floor you are on. Our room was on the 5th floor and it was super noisy outside from the club music, motorcycles & loud cars outside. (They actually had ear plugs waiting for us on the nightstand when we got there) A few good things about the room: It had been (kinda) renovated & had hardwood floors. The pillow top mattress would have been more comfy if there weren't deep divots on each side. And the best thing about the whole experience is that they did have good products in the bathroom...but don't get your hopes up, that's about it for the goodness. The tub finish was peeling and desperately needed to be redone. We had a very hard time sleeping with all the noise and less than comfy bed. In short, we basically got hoodwinked and this was a horrible experience - we won't be coming back!

Yelp
Me and my friends visited Vegas for vacations and we decided to stay here. Everyone was supper nice especially Kreshendo!!, we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend :)

Nicholas H.

Yelp
Have stayed here several times. Love the staff the rooms the atmosphere and the bar and pool!! Anytime l'm headed to DTLV I'm staying here.

Deonna T.

Yelp
The customer service was great. The front desk is kind, and helpful when questions are asked. Thanks Oasis!

Mindy A.

Yelp
Center of everything on Fremont. Parking situation sucks but they do give you earbuds because it can get loud overnight. Front desk is polite. Rooms are small without king size bed options. AC cools down the room quick.

Rolando U.

Yelp
If you like to sleep with peace and silence, do not book this hotel. There's a club going on the entire night right outside. The bathroom is tiny and outdated, and there's no phone to contact a hotel operator. We paid for late check out, but they still knocked loudly on our door more than an hour before our leave time. Yikes. I'd give 0 stars, but the front desk girl was chill.

That B.

Yelp
The room is cute but I did have to buy some Lysol wipes because I could see the counters weren't as clean as I would expect. I came out to vegas by myself to see some family. At first my room was on the fifth floor and when I asked Phillip if he had any poolside rooms I could upgrade to, he checked right away and upgraded me for free! AC is cold. No refrigerator which was ok with me bc they have an ice machine. Pool is lovely. My room had a view of the back adult playground. I'm a lil clean freak so I brought my own sheets & blanket.

Gerald B.

Yelp
Stayed and drank here. Loud, obnoxious, tacky (not kitschy). Bartenders were inhospitable with a weak pour. They put whiskey in plastic cups. Whole place smelled like weed.

Kyle S.

Yelp
be careful when you book, and pay the extra money for pool side because the other option, which they don't tell you, is right above the night club where you cannot sleep because all you hear is music CLEARLY. The room is clean and nice , the bathrooms are... old and questionable. i feel like you can find cheaper rooms that are better. when you leave the hotel they treat u like a prisoner and are particular about how you leave and enter gold spike to get back to your room. so annoying.

Corey H.

Yelp
Destiny was such a friendly Receptionist. She was very welcoming and helpful. She gave good clear directions for our room and stayed positive and conversative

Ana C.

Yelp
Princess was so amazing! Very friendly & easy to talk to. I recommend staying here!!!

Jill S.

Yelp
The Oasis at the Gold Spike. I have to emphasize the OASIS.....this is a true hidden Gem in a city of overload. Just a minute away from Freemont Street and Fun. A comfy homey vibe that enables you to enjoy some downtime and recharge your battery before getting your Vegas back on. Rooms are clean and.comfortable and the pool is seconds away from your room. There is another side of the.property that a nightclub/bar with a plethora of carnival type games and an outdoor adult playground is filled with similar themed games. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. Shout out to both Princess and Philip...you both enhanced our stay. BTW this establishment was recommended to us by a local and is our go to adult resort. Who needs the Strip when you have an OASIS.

Irene S.

Yelp
This place had great front desk service ...... Thank you so much Kreshendo!!!! I would definitely stay here again.

Michael C.

Yelp
Great location, fun atmosphere, awesome price! Stayed here many times. Staff is helpful and friendly. Kreshendo at the front desk is very nice and accommodating. Would recommend for your stay on Fremont!

Ashley G.

Yelp
Here checking in at 6:15pm. Check in was at 3pm... she said our rooms are not ready. Housekeeping has left already... this is so ridiculous. Checked in the room, smells like weed. Sheets are ripped, restrooms look like they were half ass cleaned, mirrors are dirty, looks nothing like the rooms that are posted on their website. I went to the store and bought Lysol to Lysol the F out of this place. We will never stay here again. Do not recommend. TV doesn't work, they were supposed to waive the amenities fee for both days, I got charged for both days. My friend who stayed here as well had an awful experience too. The worst part was when he called and asked for a "do not disturb" sign, they told him to come get it even though it was their mistake for not putting one in the room. Don't stay here. Pay a little extra to feel like your staying in a clean place with better customer service.

Nicole G.

Yelp
I love this hotel! I've stayed here 3 times and each time has been great without issue. First, it's like the cheapest you can find that isn't ghetto. Second, it is adults only!!! Third, they have this cool back area with all of these free games to play! Last time I stayed here, I saw people paying to get inside, but if you stay at the hotel it's free for you to enjoy. I told all of my friends about this place and find it hard to stay anywhere else when I visit vegas.

Lina M.

Yelp
Receptionist Kreshendo was very helpful and sweet fast check in. Limit parking in front but they do have parking across the street.

Liz B.

Yelp
Solid 3.5 for the purpose of nearby walkable attractions, restful sleep and nearby parking included. This review is based on penthouse and regular suites booked Oct 2023

Ashli Q.

Yelp
If you want late check out, they might ask you to leave a good review and mention someone's name. So 10/10 for that honestly. Our checkout was originally for 11am, but we were able to get it moved to 1pm which was a GOD send because Vegas.. IKYKY. The bar + activities that this hotel offers are nice and fun. Also as annoying as it was within the moment I really appreciated how strict security was in order to get into the hotel once the bar actually does open up. Only folks who are in your room are allowed in with you or they must pay the cover fee and wait in the line to get checked to come inside. So be aware of this when coming in with a friend who isn't apart of that hotel. A complaint of mine would be that their elevators break down FAR too often and if you're on the higher floors, that walk is no joke. I guess that comes with getting a cheaper hotel on Fremont. Speaking of cheap, the rooms are nothing crazy by any means and the halls had a funky smell throughout it. If you want something connected to fun activities and a bit off the strip this could be the place for you. But I wouldn't grab a room here again.

Hadi S.

Yelp
Good location and the room is nice . Quiet and near to attractions restaurants And public transportation. .

Yelp
When all the bars close in California, we decided to be spontaneous an drive to Vegas. We got there at about 6 AM and couldn't find anyone that would let us do early check in. I've never seen this hotel before randomly pulled in parking lot and right away the security guard was extremely helpful and nice! Went inside to use the bathroom and have a drink . Got to meet the manager Will as well as the head of the security of both were extremely nice. The service was excellent at the bar we explained our problem thankfully they had a couple rooms open Brandy at the front desk was a total sweetheart love her vibe!!! Bad part is we were on the six floor and the elevators were down. Also, they were only take a card at the front desk. I only had cash. Thankfully, my friend was able to cover me in her card. Our room was facing the backyard with all the games down there. Unfortunately we left back to California that I didn't even wait till check out the next day so we didn't have time to play all of them but I would definitely stay there again. Fair priced and everyone we countered was extremely friendly and helpful!!! I highly recommend this place thank you everyone for the amazing service !!!

Samuel N.

Yelp
Don't do it, stay away. 0 stars if I could. Sketch area. No parking, I had to pay for parking at the hotel across the street. Hotel tower stinks! Rooms are super gross. Didn't stay, checked into our room and immediately left. Got a different room on Fremont.

Kendra S.

Yelp
Kreshendo is very friendly and helpful. She let me leave some luggage in the office so I didn't have to carry it around and she was very polite and professional about answering all of my questions!

Megan M.

Yelp
Kreshendo was a doll! Super helpful and easy. We asked for early check in and she fixed us right up.

Kate G.

Yelp
Staf here really made the weekend. Brandy was so helpful! I stayed over a festival weekend and had a great time-- pool, proximity to Fremont, nice clean rooms, cute retro feel. Worth it.

Jessy C.

Yelp
If I can give a zero star I would! This is really BAD experience for us at OASIS REAL WORLD AT GOLD SPIKE. I checked in exactly 3 PM and the front desk didn't say anything about any policy. she gave me a piece of paper to put down my guest list which I did for more than 10 people and I did texted them also ( front desk didn't say anything about guest list policy ) until when my friends got there the security stopped us to get inside because it was not accurate in their system, and I'm the one who having a hard time for there miskates! I've been in the lobby for almost 2 hours and treated me poorly service and they were saying we have too many people already in the room. I did email them that I'm having more than 10 people guest. If I knew that there was a limit for guests I'm not going there because it's not worth it at all!! It's too complicated to stay here. I'll pay more than $1,700 for having Anxiety and Depression handling the situation that they gave to us. Instead of having a good experience, especially celebrating my husband's birthday. And they came to us (upstairs) without any information just to kick out one of my guests because of putting a bad review about them. They ask him he can stay if he's going to delete it right away. Like what??? This is not a really good treatment aas a hospitality. No explanation at all they just call him and drag him out! Plus! When I got in the room looks like the restroom it's not clean at all there was a towel all over the floor and there was a trashcan full of garbage from the last guests who checked in. I'm asking for a refund now for all the worst that we experience in this place.

Lissete L.

Yelp
Jericca was great! I appreciate her hospitality very welcoming atmosphere! Snack bar open 24/7 right next to gold spike bar for drinks!!

Navya T.

Yelp
Kreshendo was very helpful with check in information, Thank you so much!! I would recommend staying here.

Genesis R.

Yelp
Kreshenda is so sweet. She let us check out late at 1pm for a convenient day for us on SuperBowl day ! I highly recommended staying here the stay was beautiful comfortable felt like home

Rhondi S.

Yelp
A total dump! Booked through Hotwire or Bookings.com, $720 for 3 nights + resort fees, what resort? What a rip off! Room wasn't ready until after 4. You have to go through the Gold Spike dark bar to get to the hotel elevator. first room had no lock, deadbolt looked like it was kicked in, black scuzzy tub and bathroom, sticky dirty side tables, scuffed up walls, room was sketchy. Friend was propositioned by an employee in the elevator, people smoking pot, gross. Got worried when all the rooms comes with disposable ear plugs!! Went down and asked for another room, was pretty much the same, tv with hanging cables, eeewww dirty non-maintained hotel. Passed by rooms being cleaned on the first floor, god awful and pretty unsafe. I wanted a refund and the front desk lady said no problem...booked it to the Palms hotel and casino, oh god 1000% better!

Kelly M.

Yelp
This place is magical if you are a read blooded American looking for a bang outta your buck this is it .. ask for Leslie or Philip to book and be ready for a real fun time . location is so good . One block from Fremont and priced amazing. Be real with your money and get what your cash is worth . 5 stars for real people .

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Seems to be a lack of communication amongst staff. Given multiple different answers from all staff that led us to wait hours to check in, four hours for the breaker to be reset so our air conditioner could work (100 degree weather), and now double charges appearing on our bank account. While the rooms appear to be more modern than the outside of the hotel, we were disappointed to see things still dirty and looking quickly thrown together. Maybe if there were some serious changes made to communication and cleanliness I would consider coming back...

Marie W.

Yelp
First I want to say that the staff was overall very friendly and helpful. Which is why i'm giving 2 stars. However, the rooms were pretty gross. There was mold in the bathroom on the ceiling, boogers on the shower curtain, dirty floors like they didn't sweep, a light that kept flickering, an odd static noise that sounded like a speaker connecting? The walls were also very thin so we could hear others argue or yell. We got late check out and had 2 people at separate times knock on the door trying to do a room check well before check out time. The elevators were a bit wonky as well, taking a very long time to open, then start back up. Sometimes the room key would work, other times it wouldn't. It wouldn't work for the pool either. Again, the staff was super kind and polite especially those who were working at the door for the downstairs club. The club was fun and cute, having vendors outside one night and a DJ. Definitely a fun experience I just wish the room was cleaner especially because they weren't necessarily cheap.

Grace B.

Yelp
The check in last night was easy and quick even though we arrived late in the night!! There are plenty of activities and games in the casino and bar next door to do during the day or when you have down time. Overall a decent place to stay in the area!!

Leilani R.

Yelp
The best thing about coming here before punk rock bowling is having the pool all to yourself before everyone comes. They have a cute little selection of very affordable snacks at the desk, and it's next to a 7-11. Walking distance to everything and free parking. Kreshenda and Dave were an amazing help. Thank you!

Aleksander V.

Yelp
Amazing rooms renovated the kings suite was awesome Everyone was amazing at registration had my room ready helped me with parking and were really friendly and professional I highly recommend this place if your looking for a warm welcome and great customer service

Eddie C.

Yelp
Marley made check in super quick and easy. Place looks nice. Very affordable. Close to Freemont was a plus

Molly I.

Yelp
Love it here!!! Dara and Krashendo at the front desk are the sweetest - check in was quick rooms are so cheap but nice and quiet and clean - I love staying here :)

Richard B.

Yelp
Reasons not to stay here 1. Parking - There is a very tiny parking lot. 2. Three security guards are standing at the entrance to check your ID every time you enter the building. 3. Room located in a creepy corner with a broken deadbolt 4. When I opened the door to my room, I was slapped in the face with a musty/crusty smell. 5. Broken lamps 6. Stains on walls 7. Dirty bathroom 9. Loud music... but don't worry. You get complimentary ear plugs. :) To conclude.... sleeping in the car at a rest stop was my solution for the night.

Ms X.

Yelp
1 star. Let me explain. The hotel itself is not terrible, I mean it's older but that's not the problem. Also, the staff are really nice. I would give this hotel on its own normally a 3 star and it's not like there were bed bugs or something unforgivable. But... the fact that you pay money (over $260 with fees on Priceline) so that you can actually SLEEP at night and just know, if you are a light sleeper be warned, that is the challenge of all challenges. The first red flag is when we checked in and I saw ear plugs on the side table.. hmmm... why? Well, we soon found out why. There is a very LOUD hoppin night club Gold Spike downstairs that plays the loudest ass music until after 3 am and you can HEAR loud bass and loud music even with ear plugs in!!! Also I must note, the bouncers have been trained to not trust the folks staying here (I guess previous guests brought guns and drugs downstairs to the club so giving them good reason) so you have to get escorted from the elevator to the door and vice versa which is a total pain each time you want to leave the hotel. Also, our room was facing the street and you heard constant noise from motorcycles, loud cars trying to show off, Fremont street noise, people fighting outside, so basically, I would never stay here again. It is also hard to figure out where to get to the hotel, as you literally have to walk into the club and the staff shows you the elevators. We were never so happy to check out of a hotel before and checked out in the early am. I did not feel safe and am glad we only had to stay here for one night. That said, staff were kind, they have coffee and tea set up, the hot water heater was on point with the water coming out of the shower not, and the room was clean and it did have ear plugs. Needless to say, I had to do several things like take sleeping pills and put white noise on my phone in order to finally get to sleep after 3 am. I saw 1 and 2-3 star reviews on here myself and blew them off, as on Priceline the reviews were not terrible. Next time I will heed the red flags.

Steve H.

Yelp
This is a hotel that has forgotten it is in the hospitality business. I arrived at the Oasis directly from the airport, but it turned out I was 20 minutes before the "check-in time" of 1500. I decided to wait 20 minutes instead of paying a $10 early check-in fee. They then told me my room was on the 6th floor of the Tower building in the back of the property. The only room access is from an elevator (only one elevator working my entire stay) in the rear of the 1st-floor nightclub/bar. At night, whenever you came back to return to your room, their bouncers escorted you to the elevator and would not let you walk around the club. I asked why I couldn't walk around the club, and they said I would have to come back down, exit the club, and come in through the front entrance. (Not sure why, maybe to pay a cover charge?) I just know they treated me like a criminal and not a guest. Now the room was okay with parquet floors, and clean linen on the bed, but the table lamps on either side of the bed did not work at all. There was a floor lamp in the corner of the room with one open socket and the other bulb hanging by the wires. But the biggest problem with the room was LOUD MUSIC from the patio 6 stories below that blasted away until at least 2:00 AM. (They did leave you a pair of earplugs on the nightstand.) I guess the daily resort fee, didn't cover the use of the nightclub or patio...or even lights in your room. (Also, the pool is not heated) What did the resort fee cover? You've got me. ??? With all the negatives, I would expect to pay much less. I don't plan on returning anytime soon.

I will never stay on Fremont or this hotel ever again. To start the pictures provided on the website are nothing like what the rooms actually look like. I do understand you get what you pay for but I didn't sign up to have not have a dresser, the nightstands were literally falling apart, the shower door didn't close properly, the rooms had the nastiest smell. The second day we were there I went down to the front desk to ask and make sure our room got cleaned and especially to receive new clean sheets and towels. Mind you I went to the front desk around 10am-11am, not only was the front desk attendant rude but they were blasting music which make the whole situation unprofessional and for her to catch an attitude. Needless to say we got back to our room after a long day of being out and low and behold our room didn't have clean sheets but it hadn't even been touched. I don't know what kind of system works off a piece of paper but thats how they take down things to remember I guess. After having the worst absolute experience I couldn't stay there another night so I decided to cancel. My mistake of booking through a third party but I would have hoped they would be somewhat apologetic about what had happened but no. I was told to contact who I booked through, then they could proceed with a cancellation and refund. OK fine, I was able to get it all squared away and the front desk manager at the time said it was all taken care of and she took down my phone number on a sticky note and told me I would be contacted around 11am after checkout. Not only did I not get a call but I then got a message that I was still checked in and they had no record of me checking out. All I am going to say is that I will be getting in touch with the better business bureau, I will be getting in contact with my bank as this has been an absolute nightmare and I really hope no one else gives this poor excuse of a hotel any business. I don't think it needs to be running and allowing people to sleep in a literal shithole. I instead made my way back to the strip where I felt safe in my $200 a night hotel room with clean sheets, towels, and overall great smelling and looking room. My advice is DO NOT stay at this motel as there is nothing BOUTIQUE about it. I am mortified and this is not the last of me talking about my horrific experience.

Yelp
I stayed one night at this hotel, and I felt underwhelmed and overwhelmed at the same time based on my expectations and how the place looked on the website. Overall, this place is fun. Lots of cool art, activities, and space to lounge around outside. I wish I made time to lounge at the pool because no one was there when I was staying there. Check in was ok, they have self-check in which was a little clunky with the interface that they had. The front desk agents were nice, and eventually one of the ladies just decided to give me my hotel room key rather than having the self check in computer do it for me. My room was actually in the Gold Spike casino, which required me to walk by the pool, past the courtyard, and into the building next door. The bar was pretty cool, lots of cool art, pool tables, other activities for groups of people to do while hanging out. They also had happy hour. Currently, lots of scary Halloween decorations which I found amusing. If you're not a big fan of clowns, well, now you know. The hallways were a little dingy, they definitely needed some deep cleaning or maybe even a carpet replacement. Some of the walls were pretty dirty. My room was pretty plain and simple. It is reminiscent to what a motel room would look like. The bathroom is pretty small, and my shower drained really slowly. Reaching the front desk required you to either call or text them, so there is no phone in the room. The beds are clean. The room overall felt like it had been cleaned enough for the next gas, but some of the furniture look like they needed a deep clean or replacement. Overall, if you weren't planning to stay in your room for a long period of time, this would work since it's location is very very convenient to downtown LV as well as the Deuce bus.

Yelp
Not much of an oasis (see more below) but this was a decent short stay during early summer, when I had to attend my godson's high school graduation. What I was able to enjoy were the sights of the art around the premises. The room was cozy and comfortable with great TV channels, a partial view of downtown and the D Hotel, plus a necessary good-sized work station. The only thing is their cable kept losing signal. Once the technician fixed it, the TV wouldn't even turn off from the remote hahaaa! I'd recommend a stay here because the area is walking distance to tons of restaurants, outdoor activities, Fremont Street Experience, Container Park, and the fairly new Circa Hotel. The life-sized board games were only open at the weekend. The "backyard" had a really nice space for group activities like those. Even a separate closed off smoking area was available for potential lung cancer patients. Its location is downtown conveniently on a corner. However, since there were visual distractions from road construction at the time, it was a little difficult to locate. The construction site was literally around their driveway. After calling the office, I was directed to the hidden entrance gate with a security camera and intercom. My check-in was past midnight, so I appreciated this added security feature. There's a small parking lot free of charge, and you'll need a parking pass from the office upon check-in. The hotel staff was very communicative. COVID measures were followed. For extra precautions, carry your mask and sanitizers around with you. Some places might be lenient.
