This is my favorite hostel I've ever stayed at! The staff were so kind and helpful with anything that I needed. The location was perfect and easily walkable to everything I wanted to see. The hostel was very cute on the inside and has an awesome view from the top terrace. I stayed in a female 6-bed room and I was impressed! It was super spacious and clean!! Highly recommend as a solo traveler :)

The dormitory room has a bedside lamp and one electrical outlet. There are no curtains, so privacy isn't great, but the provided blanket is very warm. The toilet and shower are combined, and there's only one. Hot water is plentiful. Each bed has a large private locker that can easily fit a 60+ liter backpack, but you need to bring your own lock. Towels are not provided. The Wi-Fi is great upstairs, but terrible downstairs. It's very close to Granada Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, a 5-minute walk. The Justice Gate of the Alhambra is about a 20-minute walk away. There's a Carrefour supermarket nearby. Luggage can be stored free of charge before check-out and check-in, but you need to bring your own lock. There's a shared kitchen available for free use, equipped with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, and kettle.

False promises / Basic Hostel We booked the hostel because of the activities offered on site (according to the website). We also booked some activities directly. Once we arrived, we were told that these were no longer available. Both the BBQ and paella evenings had been completely canceled. The hike in the Sierra Nevada took place on a different day (which we couldn't attend due to other reservations). The employee at the reception desk said that he was aware of this and had been trying to convince management to change it for over a year. The email address on the website, which we had used to inquire in advance because we had not received a booking confirmation for the activities, also led to nothing. For me, this seems like false advertising. In general, the hostel seemed to be operating at minimum capacity due to COVID. There were no communal activities, the bar only had beer (nothing else), and the reception was not open at the stated times (often 2 hours late). My girlfriend was here before COVID, when it was a lively and cheerful hostel with lots of communal activities and offers where everyone got together and had a good time as a group. That is no longer the case. The double room itself was clean and simple, the shower very small. As a basic hostel, it's not bad. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. If you don't expect more, it's okay. We were very disappointed because of the obviously deliberately false promises on the website. Not recommended.

Oasis hostel has some really friendly staff who are always there to help you with whatever you need 24/7. The rooms with ac are really easy to sleep in, and the location is conveniently close to almost everything. The only thing that is unfortunate is that the location is close to the market and doesn’t feel safe at night (as a solo traveling girl). You get three free drinks every day, there is a pool, tonne of fun activities and free breakfast included!

The place is superb, very clean, very cozy I felt honored to step barefoot on authentic ancient Granada floors and I consider that as long as one finds himself in Granada, living in Albaicin is a privilege. Oasis hostel is simply beautiful.||There is this crocodile though that works as a volunteer, he came runing into the kitchen one evening, tapped my backpack and asked insolently to move it. I complained about his attitude with no effect as he ate by my side on the terrace a day later, he cleaned his teeth very well magically sucking air through them. I felt a bit insulted as a client by his dominating attitude shown also by the way he spread himself on the couch in front of me.... sucking air through his teeth... bha...a volunteer... Everybody else is very cool, young, pretty... nothing to complain about. The place and the location is fantastic. A glass of something on the terrace at sundown... life doesn't get any better than this.

Almost perfect, but the air conditioning was making a weird noise sometimes and we asked someone from the service to turn on the air conditioning for us but he forgot to come. Would recommend.

The rooms and location are fine, but I wish this place had 24 hour reception. I arrived at 6 am and waited forever to be let in to put my stuff away and a volunteer arrived a bit later to tell me there was no reception. Someone was also asking for a towel around the time but the only person he could talk to was a volunteer who didn't know what she was doing really. The social environment was not that great either, not many people hung out together in the main room and there were not too many daily events for us to get to know each other. I've stayed in better hostels.

Yelp
LOVED this hostel. Staff were wonderful!!! Was on a solo trip in Europe and booked this place for 2 night and in the end I decided to stay for an extra night because Granada is amazing and so is Oasis. If you are a solo travel, I would recommend this place, you will be able to meet lot of people during siesta staff and other travelers will hang around in the rooftop. I only wished there was enough people to go on the Nevada tour when I was there. But too bad there were not enough people to rent the van for the trip. Be mindful that when you are searching for this place. You will need to go into a small alley on the left if you are walking up from the main street. It is pretty safe there, but you might miss it, if you aren't paying attention. And if you have heavy luggage you might have a bit trouble walking to this place since there is stone floor though out the Albacin area. ( you cannot take the taxi there, there is not car traffic that will stop right in front of it) So you will need to lift up your luggage every step, if you don't want to break it. But I LOVED this place, giving it four stars because I had to lift my luggage !

Yelp
An inexpensive [relatively] hostel in Granada that's clean and comfortable too. I think we spent more time here than at any other hostel during our trip in Spain. There's a rooftop deck that's perfect for laying out, enjoying the sun, sipping on wine. It's fantastic. Their dinner parties are a fun way to get to know the other travelers. The food was surprisingly very good [we were there for Indian curry night], and it's usually ridiculously priced [very low!] since it's aimed at the low budget traveler. Yum! The hostel is in a central location, easy to find. It's just a few steps off of Caladeria Nueva and a short hike up some stairs for the best view of the Alhambra [Mirador San Nicolas] at sunset. Everything else is within walking or bussing distance. There's free luggage storage, free lockers in the rooms, and several computers available for internet access. If the bathroom in your room is in use, there's one downstairs next to the kitchen!

Yelp
One of the best hostels I've stayed in, hands down. Absolutely gorgeous rooftop terrace, helpful and friendly staff, and beautifully decorated place. If I ever return to Granada I know where to stay. Make sure to take one of the walking tours - the guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. It made our stay. Very affordable for budget travelers.
