I recently stayed at this hostel for New Years and had a mostly positive experience. The hotel staff were really good people—friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They offered a welcome drink upon arrival, and on New Year's Eve, they treated guests to a free meal, which was a nice touch. They also kept the place tidy and clean, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. Laundry services are available for an extra cost, which is convenient.
Breakfast was included in the price, and while it was decent, nothing too fancy, it was a good way to start the day. One downside is that the hostel is located on a highway, so it can be quite noisy, especially for light sleepers or noise-sensitive people like myself. I struggled to get proper sleep, though you might get used to it after staying there for a few days.
On the positive side, the hostel has a great rooftop with a nice mountain view, which is perfect for relaxing or enjoying the scenery. One issue I encountered, though, was with the common bathrooms. They tend to get choked if you throw toilet paper in them, so it’s important to be cautious there.
I had originally booked a 6-bed dorm, but when I arrived, they placed me in an 8-bed dorm instead. This wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have been nice to get the room I reserved.
