Oasis Juice Bar & Guesthouse

Since 10 years I book accommodation at the Oasis for shorter or longer periods. It is the best and most friendly Bed&Breakfast in Freetown. The rooms are spacious, lovely decorated and clean, with all modern facilities available. The food and juices are always good with fresh ingredients. Gladys is the most lovely local host in town. She constantly improves the amenities, The location is centrally located at a quit and safe compound. I have travelled and worked all over the world, so trust me, the Oasis is the best place in Freetown where you will feel at home.

A real gem here in Freetown. It’s in a great location that allows you to explore the city. I spent six nights here- comfortable rooms, AC, wifi. Breakfast was included in the price. The smoothies are really delicious too. The real reason to stay though is the staff. Lead by Gladys, everyone has been so kind and helpful and wonderful. They make you feel like you are at home here. I’m sad to be leaving.

Came for lunch & left 3 days later! Gladys the owner is a superb host, the staff are helpful & friendly. The rooms are large and comfortable, the food is the best we have tasted in Africa & nothing is too much trouble. Excellent!

Great breezy ambience on the screened porch. Boasts reasonably priced local and continental fare. The smoothies are great though they can run out of the more popular flavors early. Breakfasts are good but simple and the coffee is unexpectedly high quality for a low key Salone joint.

I am a Sierra Leonean who got introduced to Oasis restaurant by my British friend back in 2012 and I have revisited the restaurant about 6 times over the years with friends anytime I return to Sierra Leone. All my friends love the food, scenery, staff professionalism, and smoothies. The ambient tranquility is special. The prices are affordable and relatively cheaper. Thank you for your excellent services.

I don't recommend it for an overnight stay. Paid 65$ for a single room in a basement with barely day light, found it quite creepy. Wifi worked decently for most of the time. Electricity 24/7. Hot water for the shower. As for the bar: the food (around €7) is really good, juices (around €2), and breakfast (€2.7) are all great. Nice to meet up with friends but not to meet new people. Staff is ok. Location is pretty good too.

This place was recommended by friends. Stayed here on my own as a single female traveller. Felt very safe. Water in shower was warm. Good choice of food, and lovely juices. They have wifi in the evenings when the generator is turned on. Staff are very helpful.

Although basic, the rooms are clean. Water pressure for shower was too less but doable. I stayed in room with balcony. Owner tries to make your stay as good as possible. You can also have diner, lunch and breakfast. The food however takes time to prepare (30 minutes is quick), so calculate enough time, but the quality is excellent. It is also known as the Oasis juicebar.
