Oasis Koh Chang

Loved this place. Cozy bungalows, nice pool, cool treehouse! The open shower is a highlight! BUT: you must be aware that you’re “in nature” so expect ants in the bathroom 🤷🏽‍♀️ Location comes with several cats and dogs that roam around and especially one cat loved my bungalow and followed me inside all the time ❤️

I didn’t stay overnight at The Oasis Koh Chang, but I did spend some time enjoying the restaurant and the pool, and it was definitely worth the visit. Hidden deep in the jungle, this place truly lives up to its name — it feels like a real oasis in the middle of nature. Getting there isn’t the easiest (the access road is steep and only partially paved), but once you arrive, the setting instantly makes up for it. The atmosphere is calm, green, and completely disconnected from the outside world. Let’s start with the food. I ordered a few dishes from their restaurant, which serves a mix of Mediterranean and Thai-inspired options. The falafel were decent — not the best I’ve had, but they did their job. Crispy on the outside, soft inside, and nicely seasoned. They go well as a snack or a light starter, especially if you pair them with hummus. Speaking of which, the hummus was tasty and creamy, with a smooth texture and a nice balance of lemon and tahini flavor. However, the portion was a bit small for the price — definitely could have been more generous, especially since it’s the kind of dish you want to dip into again and again. The coconut curry with shrimp was flavorful and aromatic, the kind of dish that immediately gives you that Thai comfort-food feeling. The shrimp were fresh, the sauce was rich and creamy, and the presentation was nice. The only downside was that, despite asking for it not spicy, it still came quite hot. If you’re sensitive to chili, you might want to double-check before ordering. Like the hummus, the portion size was also on the small side, which leaves you wanting just a bit more. Now, the real highlight of The Oasis is the environment. The place is literally surrounded by lush jungle, and the vibe is peaceful, natural, and beautifully designed. You can hear birds, cicadas, and the sounds of the forest all around you. It’s one of those places that makes you slow down and breathe. The infinity pool deserves a special mention — it’s stunning. Overlooking the treetops, it feels like you’re swimming above the jungle canopy. The view is breathtaking, especially in the late afternoon when the light gets golden. It’s also one of the most Instagram-worthy spots on the island — you can take some truly spectacular photos there. Service was polite and relaxed, fitting perfectly with the overall atmosphere. Everything moves at a slow, tropical pace, so don’t come here if you’re in a rush — this is a place to chill and enjoy. In short, The Oasis Koh Chang is worth visiting for its amazing jungle location and incredible infinity pool. The food is good, though not outstanding, with portions on the smaller side. Still, the overall experience — peaceful surroundings, beautiful design, and that pool view — makes it a memorable stop on the island.

We didn’t stay at the rooms but visited the restaurant several times. We were a group of 4 and we all enjoyed our meals. The service was quick. It’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful jungle view. Definitely worth a visit if in the area

The food here was really delicious! But unfortunately, there were a few problems with the service. First, they put the wrong fruit in my shake. But I got a new one. And then I got a wrap instead of the falafel platter. I didn't send it back because I didn't want it to end up in the trash. When serving, my companion's coffee was spilled and some of it landed on our playing cards. All of that can happen. But the fact that we didn't even get a free dessert or a discount at the end is very disappointing.

Had a nice stay ! Super friendly host that helped us and we were even able to get the cash back when we had to leave earlier than booked. The walk up to oasis is a bit sweaty however so worth it. Also very good international food and the pool is amazingly refreshing. There could be more sunbeds. The rooms are a bit outdated, be we were fine with it. For those how fear dogs and cats: there are many curious dogs and cats walking around. There were also a power failure

We just went to eat and have a drink. I didn’t stay here, but the place looks beautiful from the outside. The food, however, wasn’t good, and the service wasn’t great either, the waitress seemed like she didn’t want to work, and the dishes came out at different times. But the juices and smoothies were really good! So I’d recommend coming just for a drink and to hang out, because the place is chill, nice, and cozy.

This resort is truly a hidden gem! Tucked away in a beautiful setting, it offers peace, comfort, and top-notch service. The staff were warm and welcoming, the meals are amazing. a must place to stop while you are in Koh Chang.

Vacation of Family with 2 kids and our 3rd time here : July 2023 March 2024 and August 2025. Its a little paradise on earth we found. We like Nature, trees, views and everything here is surrounded by it. The propriety is impeccable : pool sparking clean, restaurant with amazing food and vibe. We often take a break with Thai food and they served delicious burgers and European dish. Staff are very friendly, like everywhere else when you send them good energy you will receive it back. We stayed on deluxe bungalow and jungle one. All air-con, all basic but very clean ! We not picky and don’t ask for much… just unique experience and making memories for our kids. My preference goes to low season July - August : beautiful rainstorms, shine as well and the island is more quiet. If you are picky, demanding, and need attention, this place might not be for you. But If you are like us, this Oasis is for you. Enjoy your stay ! Ps : Having a motobike, is a big plus !
