"Sure, this RV resort next to the Blue Mesa Reservoir (Colorado’s largest body of water) might not be a traditional campsite, but the beauty of Colorado camping is that there’s no one way to do it. Park your RV or rent a tent site and get access to unconventional amenities like a dog park, basic Wi-Fi, bingo, movies, and karaoke nights." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Google
Great place with full hookups for our travel trailer! This is our second year visiting and we will be back again. Wendy is always so friendly and welcoming. Tracy Ann goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay possible. We came with a group of 15 and they made sure we were all together and happy😁Plus it’s right across from an entrance to Blue Mesa Reservoir with an easy walk down.

We have been here before. Friendly people. Wonderful neighbors. Plenty of room for our 37ft rig with tow. Pancake breakfast on Saturday morning, good way to meet new people. Management makes you feel like family.

I had a great experience here! I moved to the Gunnison Valley for a short term, 2 month contract and stayed in one of the small cabins. The space was exactly what I needed for this time and Wendy, Jamie and the rest of the staff were so helpful! They were very responsive and quick to act if I needed anything, even in evenings and on weekends and it made me feel supported and safe while living by myself! The cabin stayed warm and functional even with the cold spell we had in January and the community and amenities were very nice. The area was very quiet, tucked away, and pretty and I really enjoyed living here. I would come back!!

We loved our stay at Oasis! It was very quiet and relaxing. The location was great with it being right across the road from the lake! Even just checking in at the front with Tracey Ann was great. We would definitely stay here again!

Google
Just stayed at Oasis RV Resort and had a great experience! Check-in was a breeze, the staff was super friendly, and the whole place was clean and well-kept. Definitely planning to stay here again!

Google
Excellent RV park with full hookups. Nice clean bathrooms with showers. We enjoyed the Memorial Day BBQ put on by the camp hosts!

Google
Didn't rate the rooms as we were in our RV. :) GREAT place and GREAT people! Park was in great condition. We had a reservoir view from our site. Great spot for my morning workout, couldn't ask for better. Very helpful staff. I'd definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I have not, and will not ever stay at this location. Upon reading reviews, I noticed the RV park responding rudely to peoples comments. That is absolutely unacceptable!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for a week with our baby and dog and felt like we could live here. This place has incredible views of the Blue Mesa Reservoir, the wifi was great for our needs. We were able to watch Netflix on our iPad and use all apps and internet on our phone and didn't experience one issue. The employees here were also really pleasant. We stayed here through 4th of July weekend and they hosted a BBQ on the 4th, ice cream and karaoke and pancakes over the weekend. The environment is really quiet and peaceful. The bathrooms are clean. Gunnison also has sooo much to do and offer especially if you're willing to drive an hour or two to explore Crested Butte, Crawford, Lake City, Black Canyon, etc. We saw a few nearby RV resorts and feel like we stayed at the best one with the best views, amount of trees and spacing between sites. Not that there's a ton of space in between but one campsite down the road looked like even less space. Pine Creek Trail is a MUST do. It's about 30 minutes down the road from the site. We will be visiting this place again.

Yelp
This park is a diamond in the rough. We have stayed here 2 times this past summer and had a wonderful time. The staff was always nice and courteous. They would stop by and check on how your stay was was going. During our first trip, the WiFi was getting a much needed upgrade and it worked as expected. Although, we try to disconnect while there as the local scenery is beautiful. Our last trip this season was bittersweet as we had to leave. However, we learned of some new amenities that are in the works for the park. Those management team is diligent on making upgrades to the park and to get sure all guests are happy. We are looking forward to next season.

Yelp
Pros: -Level Sites -Full Hookup -Close to fishing and Gunnison -Fenced in dog park was large Cons: -I got to read one article and that was it. Wifi was very limited. -No cell service, had to go into town to make phone calls (maybe that's why there is a pay phone). -Cheaper and faster laundry machines in Gunnison. -Cable only works if you are in a site close to the office. We were in site 3 and was informed that cable didn't come that far. -The "Soccer Field" is just an open dirt area.

Yelp
Oasis is a pretty, tree covered park with plenty of kind folks and great campsites for all kinds of campers. We saw tents, fifth wheels, motor homes and cabins. Many of the campsites have amazing mountain and lake views. The grounds, store, and facilities are all clean and well maintained. The park is located directly across the road from Blue Mesa Reservoir which has several beach access points, one just across from the park. The park managers, Kristie and Barry are super friendly and do a great job maintaining the peaceful and welcoming vibe. They hosted a bingo night (they had great prizes) a s'mores night, and a movie night while while we were there. It was a fun way to meet our neighbors and enjoy the beautiful Colorado summer nights. All staff were very hospitable and did a great job. The location of this park makes it a great place to come back to as you explore the area and surrounding mountain communities, national parks and trail heads. Tell them Chad sent you!

Yelp
My son woke up at 4am this morning struggling to breath and coughing. We're being sent to fort Carson ER. I called to cancel my reservation and was hoping fir a partial refund. No sooner than I finished speaking did the manger tell me flat out NO. With other RV parks in the area I can ensure you that we will never stay at this RV park. Very poor customer service.

Yelp
I would Reccomended staying 2 min west down the road at ****Blue Mesa ranch campground 2 min drive toward reservoir has much bigger cabins, horse back riding/stables on site from $25 per hour & miniature golf****there cBins also look much nicer. It was fun to rent an Rv, but the smell issue kind of ruined it overal Pros & cons Trailer site Pros Lake view Hill view Location 10 mins from downtown Gunnison (where there is a Walmart ((Reccomended getting floats/fishing supplies here))citystore market (with Starbucks) healthfood store library variety of restaurant choices rafting trip place Safeway dollar tree Comes with barbecue & propane Very spacious trailer sleeps 6 comfortably Convenience store on site Clean sheets & pillowcases Relatively clean trailer Very quite cAmpground at night Locked door is secure & efficient Lots of towels which smell very clean /tp, paper towels Coffee filters coffee maker & toaster Microwave:/gas stove, plenty of utensils , plates & cups (Bring salt/pepper & sugar if wanted) Fridge & freezer clean & works well Ac & heat work really well Master bed very comfortable Ck in 2pm Bathroom & shower & kitchen very clean Ceilings high , ceiling in shower has a light & fits 6ft tall comfortably Cons Site 215 fifth wheel trailer: could not use 2 bunk beds as closets smelled like cat urine (which was extenuated when heat/ac was turned on ((Told front office ladies about the snell & they did nothing about it, which was really disappointing as we paid over $100 a night for trailer & kids were very disappointed they could not sleep in by beds bc smell was so nauseating )) A daughter also disappointed she could not use these cabinets/closet to hang her clothes up in as they stunk I notified front desk Bout this problem, thinking they would come ck it out to remedy it, and they did nothing about it. The blinds obviously have not been cleaned/wiped off in over a year (if ever) which presents a huge sanitary issue surrounding corona virus issue. Can not burn wood on site, so must rent a fire pit grill with propane for $10 per night to have fire/roast marshmallows Bathroom floor is staples down to wall The vent closures in roof are all cracked There is absolutely NO cellular service here At all. They advertise WiFi & even give you password-but in 3 days there is NO option for WiFi use. ((Which is fine, except false advertising ) DVD payer does not work ((which kids were disappointed again as they rented. Movie at redbox & turned out they couldn't watch it. Ck our at 11. There's a 9 am river raft trip which ends at 11. 12-1230 Ck out would be ideal, to be able to get in on this trip ****Blue Mesa ranch campground 2 min drive east toward reservoir has much bigger cabins, horse back riding/stables on site from $25 per hour & miniature golf**** Def drive into canyon, to hike along river, down by where the canyon boat usually leaves from. ((Pass dam & boat marina road on left, next right turn off, brings you down a dirt road, to parking lot at bottom. Hike down many steps, into gorge hike) Marina rents out boats a year in advance. So don't plan on renting a boat there, unless you reserve way in advance .

Yelp
First I give this camp a 5 for location to the lake. It was quite and has everything you need. But I give it a 4 for WiFi. We have three people in our group and you are only allowed two log ins. Horrible if you have to work. And even on the WiFi the connection is basically none existent. If you don't need electricity there is a park across the way that is right in the lake. The spaces are very close together. However, there isn't much traffic. The lake is absolutely beautiful.

Yelp
Something's definitely fishy about this "resort." 1. We were charged the full amount for our four-night stay at the time we made reservations, two months in advance. {Customary practice is to deposit for first night only.} A $25 cancellation fee is applied regardless of reason. 2. We were packed in like sardines. 3. There was no wifi/cellphone service unless we walked down nearly to the highway. 4. Bathroom/shower was filthy. 5. Pet park was dirt-filled (no grass), treeless, and with no place to sit except on broken plastic lawn chairs. This place is a rip off.

Yelp
Your sarcastic responses to negative reviews (read others) is indicative of your poor business acumen and values. Instead, try improving your product and customer service.

Yelp
We stayed in a 12x12 cottage. The mattress was the worst I've ever tried to sleep on. We had 5 people in 2 cabins, all of us suffered back pain and numbness. The linens were thin, cheap and scratchy. I did like the hot water and shower pressure. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom upon arriving. The beds weren't made. We were expected to take our trash out, which wS fine, but trash bags weren't provided. There is one tiny mirror in the bathroom but no outlets, vent/fan or shelf so a mirror should be put in the living room and above the kitchen sink. There should be pics of all cabins. If the horrific mattresses were upgraded, linens upgraded and a few minor tweaks it could be a great place. I cannot stress enough how POOR the mattresses are.

Yelp
Do not stay here! Wi-Fi did not even work. There is no cell phone service there either. The staff were rude and creepy. One of the worker there named Carol encouraged me to complain about here to the office. Carol was hill billy mean. The bathrooms and showers there were disgusting and looked like they have never been clean. They yelled and threatened to have my guests car towed if they parked by my motorbike. I have never experienced such a poor run RV resort!

Nick M.

Yelp
DO NOT stay or deal with these thieves! We had a Family reunion scheduled in August but due to COVID we have to reschedule till next year. I followed Oasis rv cancellation policy to the T and 2 months later have not received a refund! The employees are incompetent, thieves and liars! I now have to get better business bureau and the Colorado DA involved to deal with these crooks!

CAROLINE M.

Yelp
Great clean campsite. They were working on the upkeep all week and we appreciated that. Good laundry facilities and view of the Lake. My only issue was the internet service not good, you had to keep logging in and the be tagged for exceeding logins. Very limited phone service.

Greg B.

Yelp
Nice location close to many lakes and great staff, but there's new ownership and the entire park is under construction. Sites are tight and not much scenery. Cell phone and internet connections spotty at best. I might check them out again in a year or two, but agree with previous review that Blue Mesa just down the road seems to be much nicer (at least for now). PS if you are planning on visiting Black Canyon from here, Highway 50 West is under major construction starting April 2021.

Kevin P.

Yelp
Stan was great! Very helpful and understanding. None of these sites are on the water.

Mike K.

Yelp
It's disappointing when you check in, hook up, and sign in and the Wi-Fi rule says you get 300mb daily. I work on the road. This is more of a fishing camp than RV Park. Also a first time to see a coin operated shower. They are 12 miles outside of Gunnison. 1bar on ATT. One reviewer mentioned that and the owner said the reviewer should call ATT. I would think the owner would be calling ATT to provide a better experience for their clients. Nickel and dime owners. I spent a week driving one mile down the road to a state camping area for communication services. If you're not fishing, don't stay here.

Pete C.

Yelp
I stay here for a few days every year. It's a nice facility with a pleasant staff and I see improvements every time I visit.
