"Slowly, all of the places that were closed are starting to open their doors since the curfew and state of emergency were lifted, including most restaurants and shops. Popular sights, like the Santiago Cable Car, are opening on a case-by-case basis, usually with military guards out front."

Perched atop the hill, the breathtaking panoramic vista unfolds before your eyes, a tapestry of nature's grandeur. The cable car gently ascends, offering a serene journey amidst the scenery. At the summit, one is greeted by a symphony of sights, a reminder of the awe-inspiring majesty of the world.

Amazing view, family friendly and fun times. Ride the cable car to the top to experience an amazing view of the whole city. Cable cars are clean and well maintained. No A/C but the windows have tint and there are vents to allow air through. Even when it was 94°F it was comfortable inside. There are bathrooms, shade, seats, foods and drinks at the top.

I had a great trip on the cable car and enjoyed the views from the top. There was a short queue which staff quickly and efficiently assisted into the lift. I bought the round trip and went straight to the top then stopped halfway down to explore, then continued back down.

First time here and it was a pretty place. You can buy your tickets directly there or in advance, I was here in January, so almost peek season for vacation in Chile and find absolutely no line or too much people. It was fast and smooth. The space in the cabin is reduced and can only accommodate 6 people and you share with other families, so if you have a carrier for your baby, it should fold or it won't fit in the cabin. My guess is it can't hold a wheelchair either but I'm not really sure. The ride is fast and really pretty, you can see the entire city. And it had 2 stops, you can ride until the first stop which is the station to go to the pool or to the top, to see the view of the city from above and visit the statue of the Virgin Mary. Very pretty.

Incredible views from the top and the cable cars are in very good shaped. The staff was friendly and the station was easy to find. Once up in the mountain I did find that the steps were very uneven and bit risky to walk, very steep and did not seem well maintained. Also, no bathrooms, which can be an inconvenience. All in all a good experience.

Such a beautiful place with an amazing view. I highly recommend taking the cable car up and back down. It’s a relaxing ride that I think has the best views. They have nice little gift shops and places you can get snacks. The view from the top is incredible, I would give yourself plenty of time to just sit there and enjoy the view. There are a bunch of stray cats and kittens running around that are all so sweet! I highly recommend coming here, I would go again. It’s a necessity for anyone that visits Santiago.

The highest point to see Santiago and the snowy mountains that surrounds the city. Bring warm clothes as it gets quite cold up here. You can find toilets and a cafeteria here. If you walk down the car park, there are also 2 local mini food stalls. The views of Santiago are truly amazing from here.
