Oasis Surf Camp

If you like surfing and swimming. This is the place to be. The beach is very walkable and you don't have to worry about rocks in the sand. A large variety of accommodations are available. On site, restaurant and bars make it very convenient. Also other restaurants are available across the river. The river will rise and fall with the ocean tide from take few inches deep to the chest high. Good food and drinks with friendly service. The bar will have entertainment at night. I would recommend the A-frames they have A/C and hot water. ****Big complaint. If you use a credit card they will charge you 10% and 7% in the restaurant. **** The owner should review this policy because it is cheating the customer.***

Nice place. But I would advise not to book here. They cancelled my room 2 hours after check in. Offered no solutions and did not believe it was there fault or problem, because it was their digital system that made the mistake. Very rude staff with zero compassion or understanding.

Great accommodations on the beach, we rented a two room cabin with a kitchen and living area. It was perfect for put 4 day stay. The restaurant on site has very fresh and tasty food.

Cons: "river" (40ft wide regardless of tide) varies from almost 4.5 ft to 1ft high. You will get wet. You have to cross the river to get to oasis. Usually no one at the "boat" tin raft. We stayed for 4 days and got to ride in it twice. Very limited food, they were out of everything meat, fruit, granola et,... you could eat eggs and toast only Pros: Location, right on the beach beautiful Room was basic, what you would expect If planning to go into town more than 1-2 times on the trip stay elsewhere or rent a place with a kitchen here

It was an AMAIZING EXPERIENCE. Just magical: sunset that looks like a movie clip, unforgettable NEW YEARS PARTY, delicious food and drinks and I will never forget my wave ride, just in front of my room... I LOVE ALL MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE. Hope you come and see.

The beach may be beautiful, but my entire surfing experience was utterly ruined by the miserable man at the surf rental. Every single day, the guy in the hat was shockingly rude and unprofessional, turning what should have been an amazing trip into an absolute nightmare. His attitude and daily fights left a dark cloud over what should have been a memorable adventure.

I just wanted to mention that the people at the surfshop are just terribly rude . No hi, thanks .. Nothing. They just look at you badly if you start surfing. I give 2 stars because at least the surfboard was pretty new and clean .
