Oaxaca Real Hotel

My recent experience here was truly excellent, and I highly recommend it! First and foremost, the location is incredibly convenient. It's situated perfectly, making it easy to access all the major attractions and amenities I needed, whether by walking or public transport. This made my visit so much more enjoyable and stress-free. The hotel is very affordable and I felt I received incredible value for money, which is always a huge plus, especially these days. The staff is very welcoming. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at ease and were always ready with a smile or a helpful suggestion. I had a minor issue during my stay (not their fault, just an unexpected snag), and they handled it with efficiency. They help me resolve it quickly, ensuring my comfort was their top priority. Their proactive and helpful approach turned a potential hiccup into a testament to their excellent service. Overall, a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a well-located, budget-friendly option with genuinely wonderful and capable staff. I'd definitely return!

Location and friendly/helpful staff!! Staff made our stay memorable and many thanks to them!! Central and walkable - the 3 huge wedding dolls make it easy to find the hotel. Best of all, the owner is local so know that my money support the community. Love the complimentary tea/coffee in the AM and filter water during the day so can fill our bottles…an extra sustainable touch.

I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel experience than Oaxaca Real. The location is perfect - steps away from everything to do and see in Oaxaca central, from the cathedral and museum of Zapotec culture to the restaurants and cafes. Our stay was delightful - the staff was hospitable and helpful with recommendations for day tours. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, cleaned every day, and overlooking the pool. It’s so nice to be able to hear the kids play in the pool and to get so much sunlight. Highly recommend and I would stay here again.

Hotel overall was good! Location is absolutely perfect if you want to stay in the downtown area. Service was outstanding, everyone was very helpful. The room was nice; super simple and the bed was super comfortable. The only downfall of being down town is that it gets loud because of the bar around.

Rooms are very small like other reviews say. Very basic amenities. The room was on the first floor and next to the elevator which made it noisy and dark. Unfortunately pool was too cold to use during our time there and no lounge chairs are provided. Location was good. Would not stay here again.

Great historic hotel in the heart of Centro. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are a decent size. Lovely big bath towels, which is a welcome change. There is a rooftop terrace and bar which is comfortable. The location is fantastic and we would definitely stay again…

Location is great ! Front desk not welcoming or helpful. The gentleman at the door was amazing. Helpful , welcoming and a pleasure to talk to.

Rooms are very small. We came with a tour and we specifically asked for single beds, which the tour said can be provided. Beds were double bed very small and one of us had to sleep on rollaway Beds. Not a very good experience. I think it was the tour's responsibility to state that 3 single Beds can not be provided. In general hotel is located in the center of the city and lots of things to do in the evening. Rooms are clean.
