We have just returned from a three night stay in a Hot Tub Lodge 1 and it was absolutely everything. The lodges were clean, spacious and had all commodities that you would need whilst away. Parking right outside your lodge and the complimentary water and prosecco was a right little bonus. The location, even though is out of town is absolutely brilliant, a short drive into Oban, Taxis are available and are dog friendly aswel. Staff were so polite and helpful, our first time there and they made us feel so welcome and at home straight away. We were in a lodge but the site was incredible clean and seemed to have everything needed with multiple shower blocks, toilets, cleaning facilities and more for campers and caravan users. The views from the site are absolutely breathtaking, looking out onto the Loch, ferries and fishing boats passing by, you could sit and watch them all day. Isle of Kerrera in the background looking extraordinary. The hot tub on the balcony of the lodge was by far our favourite. Casting your eyes over the sites above whilst bubbling away in hot water is such an incredible experience. I would recommend this place every time. We love a good 6 hours away drive and would make this journey again in no time to enjoy this site again. 10/10.

Stayed in hot tub lodge 3. Excellent lodge as was very spacious and clean including dishwasher and washing machine. The lodge overlooked isle of Kerrera and the view was simply amazing. Easy to find site and both reception team and maintenance team were friendly, polite and professional. Unfortunately we had storm Amy whilst there but team ensured everything was secured. On arrival was 2 bottles of water and a bottle of prosecco which was nice touch. Currently having to use bottled water but that wasn’t an issue as made aware before arrival. Oban is around 45 minutes walk away and the walk along the front to Oban is lovely. Some other lovely places close by including Ganavan sands, especially if you have dogs. Would highly recommend staying here as the lodges and site is excellent

Liked: The view from the pitch. Disliked: The site is a good way from Oban, not within reasonable walking distance. Local taxis are cheap enough though. There is currently no fresh water available on site, it is fed from a natural spring further up the hillside. Even the water in the showers was green / brown. The motorhome pitches are on grass, and with the recent heavy rain were waterlogged and rutted from previous visitors. We elected to leave early as more rain was forecast.

Liked: The view which was very evident once we reached the higher area of the site where vacant pitches were available. Disliked: Because of the chosen pitch the gradient my van at the rear well down and the front feet required extra packing to achieve level with the feet fully extended + 6 inch under each foot. Pulling a water barrel up hill from the nearest drinking water point was another challenge. The vehicle was used

Liked: Location. Felt safe on the site. Disliked: Poor site for tourers. The electric sites are all on soft grass, water is not drinkable so you can't fill up, showers need updating, hook ups are on soft standing cut grass on a bit of a slope. Definitely more of a site for a static unit than for tourers.

Absolutely beautiful Lodge with a hot tub!!! So great full fir the hot tub on the rainy days which was every day lol but we didn't know storm Amy was gonna hit as bad as it did, but thats not a reflection on our trip, everything was perfect but no one can help the weather. The team on site were great 👍 they made sure everything was safe on the park during the storm, they tied everything down and removed anything that could be a potential risk to life and the cars. Thank you! X

Liked: The location of the Oban site is good, and the reception lady was very courteous and pleasant. Disliked: The pitches are on grass for motorhomes and with the wet weather the ground was very soft, so choosing a pitch location was important. The shower block was adequate but basic, with good warm water. The fresh water was brown in colour and not drinkable without boiling first.

Liked: Beautiful location with stunning scenery. Close to Oban and good for exploring the local coastline and islands. Kerrera Ferry just a 10 min walk. Good site shop, toilets and showers. Helpful and friendly staff. Site fees reasonable for August. Not too many midges!!! Disliked: Camping fields all slope. People using the site to access Oban Ferries packing up in early hours of the morning.
